5 out of 5 stars Mohs Surgery

What an outstanding physician!

So happy with the care I received from Dr. Ezzat and the entire staff at ENT/Facial Plastics at Boston Medical Center. I had Moh's surgery on my nose (~1cm defect in the middle of my face!) and he did an amazing job with the skin flap reconstruction - I was back to work in a week. 2 months later no one can tell (except for my husband who was there for the whole thing.) His pleasant, reassuring...

Very Very Happy with the Results

I'd been wanting to get rhinoplasty for a few years. My nose was ok but not great and I didn't love it. I wanted it to be straight and cute, free of any bumps. After going to a few other plastic surgeons I was skeptical of what the results would be like that's why I decided to go to Dr. Ezzat and because of the reviews and pictures on this site. He's really nice and I enjoyed speaking with...

Long Awaited Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty

Dr. Ezzat is amazing. I found him here, on this website, this February, after I decided to reconsider my earlier plans to give up my lifelong ideas of rhinoplasty. He responded to my consultation request within hours and connected me with his wonderful coordinator, Carla. I had two consultations before making the final decision, even though I had the "this is it" feeling within 10 minutes of talking to Dr. Ezzat. Reading earlier reviews, I see that his other patients had similar experience. His communication style, confident, honest and intelligent, along with all the non-verbal cues really work to his advantage. Somehow, you just "know" or "feel" he really does know what he is doing and talking about, is confident and passionate about it, and isn't about to scam you. I tend to be cautious and imagine all negative scenarios before I do anything significant, I like to do my research extensively, so I checked everything I was supposed to check for all the surgeons I planned to see: board certification, history of malpractice suits, etc. A lot of them tend to look good on paper, yet, once you meet them, something is off. There's a hint of insincerity at times, unnecessary avoidance of the discussion of potentially bad outcomes (which can happen even to the best of surgeons, since they are human, after all, and tissues can behave in unpredictable ways!) , too much of the "seller" attitude. When it comes to Dr. Ezzat's personality and communication with patients, a truly wonderful quality is the sense of authenticity he is able to establish in the rapport, as well as the fact that he is actually easy to reach and prompt to respond to emails. I provided additional details on this in my procedure review above. I was somewhat concerned, at least initially, with the fact that he is relatively young in surgical years, however, I was able to see that this may not necessarily be disadvantageous. Someone who has practiced for 20 plus years may have a lot of experience, but their formative (training) years are far behind (not for everyone of course, I know that there are wonderfully progressive experienced surgeons who constantly work on their education), and sometimes, even years of experience cannot be a substitute for talent. Finally, it is important to be aware of one's own goals and their match with the surgeon's style and preferences. I knew that I did not want a nose that looked "done" and fake, no matter how perfectly small or upturned such a nose may be. I needed a nose that belonged on my face, and fit well with all the other features. I was fairly confident that Dr. Ezzat was able to do that after seeing his before/afters and talking to him. I have to say that I also meticulously read through many answers the surgeons I consulted with left of this website. Dr. Ezzat triggered no red flags, and his answers further convinced me that he would be able to achieve the results I wanted. I was not happy that some of the other reviewers did not respond to my hopefully polite inquiries, as I would have been even more at ease had I been able to chat with the established patients. Nevertheless, I did see a couple of his patients while waiting for the consultations, and they seemed happy and comfortable interacting with the staff at BMC (the hospital where Dr. Ezzat works), and this helped. I do promise to answer any questions I may get here! Finally, and this is the key aspect of my review, Dr. Ezzat was able to beautifully address the concerns I've had with my nose: the bulbousness of the tip, the crookedness and the restricted function on one side of my nose. Importantly, all the features of my original nose that I liked and wanted unchanged, were preserved. I was concerned that my nose would look too different from my daughters' noses (they both have cuter versions of my original nose), but this did not happen, in fact, my own nose is now a cuter version of its older self. This nose still looks like it belongs on this face, and is well balanced with the rest of my features. I am only about 4 weeks post-op, and I have actually been trying not to write this review too early, being concerned about the skew of cognitive dissonance and the fact that it takes a while to see final results. I still have a bit of internal swelling and some swelling in the tip, but I am very happy with the direction things are going. I actually like looking at myself in the mirror (something I learned to avoid, even though my nose was not so bad), and I even took a couple of selfies (again something I haven't done in years, I have zero photos of myself on my social media). The credit should be given where it's due, and I am very pleased to report that Dr. Ezzat's work on my nose does provide further evidence of his exceptional skill and talent. The procedure itself went smoothly, the staff at BMC were wonderful, and the recovery was quick and uneventful. Please refer to my procedure reviews for additional information, I fully intend to keep posting updates.

An easy choice

Trusting someone with your face is not easy, choosing doctor Ezzat was. I booked a consult with him after reading all his glowing reviews and his confident and friendly manner sold me. He always made himself easily reachable, which was a huge factor, taking time to answer any and all questions I had both pre and post op. I felt listened to and heard and trusted him going into surgery. When the...

Outstanding experience, above and beyond average experience.

Outstanding. My daughter found Dr. Ezzat on this site and we could not have been more satisfied. He and his staff were ALWAYS available for questions and responded promptly. After surgery we had a situation that required an unscheduled trip in and with no more than a few hours notice he fit us into his busy Friday afternoon schedule. Bedside manner of Dr. Ezzat and all the staff we dealt...

I had an amazing experience, and great results

When I started the process of finding a surgeon to perform Rhinoplasty, I was told by others that I would "know" the right person when I met them - and the minute I met Dr. Ezzat, I knew he was the right person. His experience speaks for itself. Dr. Ezzat is very approachable, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. He is a genuine person, and speaks to you very directly and in a way that...

Amazing experience! I could not be happier with the final result.

Ever since I was 14, I noticed that a small bump started to develop on the bridge of my nose. I hated it ever since and wanted it gone. On the first meeting, Dr.Ezzat carefully listened to all of my concerns and desires. We developed an approach to the surgery and he explained to me what he will do with my nose. The surgery went very well and there was barely any pain and scarring. The only...

When the I started the process of finding a surgeon to perform my rhino/septoplasty, I was told by others that I would "know" the right person when I met them - and the minute I met Dr. Ezzat, I knew he was the right person. His experience speaks for itself - I was so reassured by his extensive experience dealing with difficult reconstructive cases, his dual certification in both ENT &...
