My experience with Dr. Cohen was incredible! During my first consult, he made me feel very comfortable, answered all my questions, and made me feel confident about having this procedure. On the day of the surgery, I was welcomed with open arms and had so much support by not just the doctor, but also the nurses and anesthesiologist that I immediately felt comfortable. Dr. Cohen even came to speak with me before the procedure and reviewed everything with me and marked my body in preparation. Also he made sure I understood not just the surgery portion but also aftercare. This was extremely helpful afterwards! During recovery, I was surprised that I didn’t have much pain for such a big surgery. On my follow up, Dr. Cohen once again answered all my questions and ensured that I was recovering extremely well. I would like to thank Monique, Marina, and all the staff for their kindness!! I would HIGHLYYYYY recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone looking to have these surgeries done!!!! My body in one week already looks amazing, I can’t wait to see the results in a few more months!! Dr. Barry Cohen, you are the best!!!!!

Dr Cohen isn't just a plastic surgeon, he's a reliable, lovely human being. After 7 years of seeing Dr. Cohen I can honestly say he is a good doctor for those looking for preventative treatment (ie if you're younger and you don't want to start getting lines, he's great at this - no one suspects my age at all and I'm frequently carded although I'm 37); he's a great doctor for injections (fillers x botox) in general but you have to tell him if you're prone to bruising or if you feel like his hand is too heavy etc.... You have to communicate your feelings, he is not a mind reader, and he is a very honest man (he will NEVER give you more than you need; he recently said he didn't want to give me any filler in my cheeks bc "I don't want you to look like an avatar."); he's a doctor that treats you how you treat him: if you go in there like an entitled jerk, he may act the same way and that's simply because doctors are human and we form relationships with them so every patient isn't going to be a fit for doctor cohen and it's your job as the patient to really figure that out. If you don't feel comfortable with Doctor Cohen after your free consult then do not proceed. And he will tell you that himself, maybe not in a direct way but in a way that's professional enough that you will get the hint. He is a no b.s. kind of guy which I LOVE about him. He goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for the patients that GO ABOVE AND BEYOND for him because like any relationship it's reciprocal in nature. There was a slight mishap with my rhinoplasty bc of healing issues, but Dr. Cohen is supportive of fixing the issue and has treated me like a queen, and for that I am forever grateful. I do wish that doctor Cohen offered more skin surface procedures for acne scars etc. but I do believe they are working on getting some new machines which I'm super excited about - and he's more of a scalpal guy than someone who really gets into your pores (that's why you have a dermatologist). I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen as a plastic surgeon, and as a resource for people who want second opinions on what other doctors have done. He's not GOD, so no, he cannot wave a magic wand for everyone who has received a botched job in some other country and that needs fixing, but he will be very honest with you about what he can and cannot do - that I can assure you.

Dr. Cohen did a revision rhinoplasty on me in December 2021. I am extremely satisfied with the results. I broke my nose in 2019 and had surgery early 2020 with a different surgeon. The results were disastrous. Following surgery I had collapsed airways and an unpleasing aesthetic result. I could not breath on one side. I saw Dr. Cohen, who came highly recommended to me. He immediately diagnosed the problem, scheduled my surgery. I can breathe again thanks to Dr. Cohen and although still swollen I can already see my result will be great. Dr. Cohen is one of 50 doctors recognized by US News and World Report for Rhinoplasty. Please do your homework if you need this procedure done, especially if it is from a break. But also if you want to just have a great nose!!!!

My journey with Dr. Barry J. Cohen began in 2002 for my first plastic surgery procedure: Breast Augmentation then a few years later with TWO Brazilian Butt Lift, a buccal fat removal and a chin liposuction. Last year, I had a hair transplant which help to restore my receding hairline. On July 1st, Barry performed rhinoplasty, a replacement Breast Augmentation from 20 years ago, and upper Blepharoplasty.I am overjoyed with the results as these procedures were customized to me and had minimal bruising or swelling which is an indication of a gentle hand by the surgeon. I cried as he removed the stitches and thanked him for making me whole. Barry never sold me on any surgeries, or embellished his opinions, and ALWAYS treated me like family.Over the course of 20 years, with the many procedures, I NEVER encountered an infection or complication, thank to the team at the Washington Plastic Surgery Group & Surgery Clinic.

I’m an Asian American about 5’5, 120 lbs, 36 years old with 2 kids. I got 415CC ultra high. I went to 4 different doctors. And each doctor told me a different CC. It’s hard to compare friends cause you have to factor in how much breast you currently have. The best example Cameron Diaz D cup won’t look the same as D cups on Scarlett Johansson (if that’s how you spell it) Make sure you ask your doctor what size fits you. Dr Cohen made me feel so comfortable discussing different sizes and the staff is super friendly. I admit, I was emailing them weekly cause I wanted to make sure of the CC size and they were very nice about it.

Dr. Barry Cohen helped to save my life during the early Covid pandemic days. March 2020, my dermatologist diagnosed early-stage Melanoma cancer on my right shin; 3 attempts to get it all not successful & a skin graft necessary by a reconstructive surgeon. I'd had face/neck/eyelift by Dr. Cohen: 1st in 2011, 2nd time 8 years later. I was extremely happy w/ my results. You'll read the same excellent reviews for other plastic surgeons, but you won't read this: Fri.Apr 3rd, I asked Dr. C for help: I needed more skin removed+skin graft asap. At that time, plastic surgeons' offices/elective surgeries were shut down during Pandemic. Mon. Apr 6th, Dr. C opened & staffed his office just for me, and then performed the surgery/skin graft - FREE - after learning BCBS said Dr. Cohen was "out of network" and they would not pay him. When you are deciding on your plastic surgeon, Dr. Cohen does excellent work, with a heart of gold. He truly cares about his patients.

I wanted to wait about seven months before providing my review. I must say I am 100% pleased with the procedure Dr. Barry Cohen performed. I had a breast augmentation surgery when I was 22 years old (now I am 43). I was happy with my new breast but wanted to be a full D cup but only was able to achieve a small C/B cup (from a A cup). After having three daughters and breast fed two of them I needed to get my breast redone. I was referred to Dr. Cohen by a friend and very happy of my decision. After speaking with him and his team I was confident he would do a good job. I had my procedure in October 11, 2019. I opted for the local anesthesia procedure (so was awake the entire time) and upgraded to silicon implants. My incision is under the breast and almost faded completely. The procedure went very well and my recovery was much easier than my first breast augmentation surgery. I am very happy with the outcome and now I can officially say I am now a full 32DDD or 34 DD. I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen for your breast Augmentation surgery!!!! He did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!!

I have been getting botox for the past 12-15 years and Chavi Orlovsky is seriously the best ever. She does EVERYTHING we want when getting botox and never seem to get: 1) A concentrated and attentive dialogue about what you want. She actually marks your face and lets you look before even more thoughtful discussion. 2) Then she GENTLY administers the botox directly from a bottle that you can SEE and it is not watered down! My results were the best I have every had from the least amount of product and it lasts. I have been vigorously exercising for the last 7 years. I lost some— went from a size 16 to a size 12 with exercise. But I could not lose the belly fat no matter what I did. Dr Cohen operated on another doctor friend and came recommend by another doctor friend of mine. I have been a practicing physician for 20+ years & felt very comfortable with Dr Cohen after our 1st consult and booked my surgery within a month. I planned to have a nurse friend take me and care for me post op for 3 days. Recovery has been hard but I also needed to have some abdominal muscle repair done that was damaged after delivering a large baby( my 2nd child). Dr Cohen tightened these muscles so now I have less of an ability to overeat which I did before. Now I know when my belly is full. I am now a size 6 in dress and size 8 in jeans. I’m very happy with the results. At 2 1/2 months I still have swelling but t is progressively decreasing. I highly recommend Dr Cohen.

I’ve never been so happy in my whole life. The best thing I’ve ever done for myself after having my first child three years ago was getting my breast done, and on top of it all was finding the perfect surgeon to do it. Dr Cohen was simply amazing from start to finish. He was brief and to the point. It’s like he knew what I wanted and needed before I could even figure out the words to tell him myself. He’s a person who genuinely care and who’s all about the best result for the patient. I remember being so scared but he held my hand until I fell sleep, it happens so fast. I fell asleep, woke up and was discharged in less than two hours. I was comfortable the whole entire way through and the staff treated me so well. Dr Cohen and his staff are amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Updated on 2 Jul 2018: recovery was not as bad as I thought it would be, my family helped me a lot with making sure I rested. The pain was not even that bad, I’d have random muscle spasms that made stop and take a second but it was all good! I loved being up and about more than I did hit laying down with a million pillow on my back. I loveeeeeee my new girl and can’t wait till I can stunt with them! lol best thing I ever did for myself ????
