I cannot say enough how wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable the staff and doctors are at MDLSV. Dr. Beasley is always patient and kind, attentive and informative. She gives her honest opinion if she doesn't think something may be the best option. I have had a few procedures done multiple times and no one has ever noticed (including my husband lol), other than compliment me on how great I look and how my skin always looks so radiant. I felt so comfortable with her and liked her so much I switched my 15 y/o son from his then dermatologist even though they don't take insurance (they do submit claims for you) to clear up his cystic acne. Wow, wow, wow...the acne two other derms couldn't clear, Dr. Beasley got rid of. My son is a different child, his skin looks so good.

I had many brown spots on my face and chest area. Dr. Beasley @ Maryland Laser Skin and Vein Institute performed laser therapy on them and they were gone in a week. Dr. Beasley was very clear about how the process would go and what to expect. I received so many compliments about my skin. The procedure took years of my face.

See below. by the way-- this review wants to me to input a cost-- in total its been thousands, but some was medical and insurance approved, and mostly cosmetic paid by me, so its very hard to say- I will just put a random amount, I don't feel its fair to write an amount because I have had many procedures- for a variety of reasons, so its very difficult for me to name anything specific. Believe me, I have seen the "deals" offered on various websites, (groupon etc) but bottom line for me is if you are going to get something fixed or improved (in my case face (wrinkles, melasma, sun damage) and scars) you can't be looking for the cheapest deal in town, or if you are, be willing to accept the consequence- good or bad.  Hopefully you will luck out.  I would personally save up to go to a reputable practice, like MDLSV. There have been MANY tempting offers from "good deals" out there, but saving a few dollars is not worth it to me.  I would much rather see a Dr. who is experienced and specialized. I prefer to cut other areas of my budget, than trust my face with a budget doctor. Updated on 3 Jan 2015: I recently had fraxel again w Dr. Beasley--my last treatment was 3 years ago when I initially wrote this review. I have continued to see her regularly for botox & also tried Voluma last spring and am very pleased with the results. One of the things I appreciate the most about Dr. Beasley is that she never tries to push procedures, and nothing is overdone. She is highly trained and skilled, so I feel very comfortable having any procedure with her. Also, Dr. Beasley is fantastic at injecting- I bruise easily so that is always a concern for me. I really like that I always see her personally, and she is the one actually injecting or lasering me-- that is huge. I wouldn't go to anyone else! Highly recommend. Updated on 9 Mar 2017: Dr Beasley is still the best- I've still seen her regularly -so skilled at injecting so i have minimal bruising (and I bruise very easily) and have the most natural looking result. She always gives her opinion and will say if something is not necessary.
