I did research for over 4 years and went on several consultations but Dr. Velargo's work always stood out to me. He was the one surgeon I felt could give me the most natural and effective results, and I was right. He is an artist at what he does. Dr. Velargo is incredibly kind and cares a lot about his patients. He has gone above and beyond to ensure my healing process has been smooth. I found Dr. Velargo on RealSelf, asked around - heard lots of positive comments, and had my consult. I was immediately impressed by his office and staff. My first few appointments were for Botox; finally my eyebrows are in the right place. He honestly tries to make you as comfortable during injections as possible, but lip injections are never really comfortable and the results don't last.I was looking for a more permanent solution to the vanishing upper lip. I had a lip lift on July 2 and the results just keep getting better. If you want something that really takes years off, this is it. I had a conservative lift but the difference it makes on my face, profile especially, is remarkable.

Got my lips done by Dr. Velargo in New Orleans. I had somewhat full lips and he made them juicy and fuller. I feel like he really took his time. I'm super happy with the result. I believe he used one syringe of Restylane Kysse. Would highly recommend him if you can make it down south!

Dr. Velargo is not only the best cosmetic surgeon I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, he is a true artist, in every sense of the word! I had always been very insecure about my tall, hooked, French nose for as long as I can remember, and it served as the source for endless ridicule and anxiety, growing up. After years of deliberation and months of saving, I decided to finally undergo rhinoplasty in 2018. I found Dr. Velargo based on his excellent ratings on Google and decided to visit him for a consultation. During the consultation he explained the entire procedure in detail and placed a lot of emphasis on improving the function of my nose, in addition to changing the appearance for aesthetic reasons. I wasn't even aware that my breathing was impaired until he demonstrated how much airflow I SHOULD be getting. This is when I knew that Dr. Velargo was 100% the right surgeon for me. I had my rhinoplasty and septoplasty procedure a few months later; recovery was incredibly smooth but Dr. Velargo offered his continued support throughout the entire process. Only 1 week after my surgery, he removed my cast and I was completely blown away by the results! I never even imagined that I could actually look like this! My nose was cute and feminine, but even more importantly it looked completely natural, like it was always meant to look that way! One year post-op, Dr. Velargo noticed that I still was not breathing 100% and was determined to improve my airway function even further. I underwent another surgery for airway revision (and added refinement of the tip of my nose) and the improvement was immediate. As soon as I woke up from surgery, I noticed that I could breathe better than ever before!! I am now 3 months post-op and the results are getting better and better every day. I have completely stopped use of all sinus medicines and nasal sprays and my physical performance has improved dramatically just from the change in controlled breathing! Aside from his surgical skills, Dr. Velargo has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've met. His calm nature and wealth of knowledge are enough to keep any concerns at bay, and his receptiveness to random phone call/texts is always very reassuring! There's no doubt that he truly cares about his patients and has their best interest in mind. These procedures have been truly life changing and I can't thank Dr. Velargo enough!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Velargo and his staff! I had heavy eyelids and developed bags. It got to where I didn't want to be in pictures anymore. Fast forward... my daughter is getting married and I wanted to feel confident to take pictures for her big day. So, I visited with Dr. Velargo. He took the time to answer all of my questions and explained the procedure. I wanted to remain looking like myself but, just a refreshed version. I felt very confident and 3 weeks later, I had upper and lower lid surgery. Dr. Velargo contacted me several times after the surgery to see how I was doing. 3 weeks after surgery and I can see my top eyelids! No more overlapping skin. Best decision I've made! Best selection of Dr. and staff to assist me in this journey! I'd recommend Dr. Velargo to anyone wanting anything from skin care to surgery! He's the Best!!

My experience was incredible! Dr. Velargo listened to all of my concerns before my upcoming wedding and was able to explain all of the available solutions. We decided to do lip, under eye and forehead injections. I wish I went to him years ago. I cannot stop receiving compliments. I am not a fan of needles at all. He was very supportive and coached me through all of the procedures. He was able to help me through it and it was worth it! I will definitely be back for my follow up in a few months. I keep referring him to all of my friends. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for being so kind and caring.

He and his entire staff were the most helpful and sweet I have experienced in a while. They were all very patient and amazing at their jobs. Not to forget a talented job at what they accomplish. I will come back just for the atmosphere if not for my filler updates.

The most attentive physician and staff in Louisiana. They treat you like family . The results I received through multiple procedures have yet to be achieved at any office ( plastic surgeon, dermatologist, NP) I've visited since moving. It does not get better than Dr. Velargo. Just pop in for a consultation! You will never feel as though you've wasted their time even if you opt out of moving forward with anything. They're all highly skilled, kind, and CLEAN without feeling cold and sterile.
