It was my second time getting lip fillers, and the previous doc who did it really messed me up. My lips were uneven and the top was bigger than the bottom, and the damage caused my lips to constantly peel. I waited a little over a year for most of it to dissolve before I came to Dr. Mai. I was really nervous & probably asked her too many questions. I was so scared of getting duck lips again! She was very patient with me, but I could tell she was getting a little annoyed. She is a licensed doctor after all.. I know she didn't go to medical school just to have a know-it-all patient. I felt bad, but I was a little mentally scarred from the first doctor. She didn't really ask how I wanted my lips to look but got the gist of what I wanted because I told her I wanted it to be natural and still look like my lips. I even decided to get fillers for my laugh lines too. She did a great job. I was a nervous wreck and most likely got on her nerves, but everything turned out great. She was quick and got me outta there. The bruising was very minimal and went away really quick throughout the week. I plan to go back to her again, but I won't be annoying this time. LOL. She gained my trust.

30 years young and I never thought that those fine lines and worry lines would happen to me. After two kids they came around quickly. I made an appointment for my bi-annual "juicing of the lips". I have to say, it was the best experience I have had in the MANY years of lip augmentation procedures. I decided to get filler in my cheek and eye area for the first time, and I was quite nervous. She makes you feel very comfortable, and you can tell that she really cares. She called to check on me, and these days that is rare. I was really happy with the her skill and technique. I had to return to correct one little area, which is not uncommon. She was patient, and she listened to me. She also did not let me go crazy by getting every procedure that she offers. It is a fine art to staying beautiful.

Dr. Mai was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. From the moment I stepped into her office and when I left. She answered all my questions and reassured me of any doubts I may have had prior to the procedure. She gave me great pointers and tips on the care of my skin, and what to do following my appointment with her. She also made sure I was comfortable at every step of my visit. I received botox, filler in my lips and cheeks. Sophia was so nice and so professional! She had an answer for all my questions and made me feel very comfortable.
