As in other rejuvenation procedures, the primary goal of fillers is one of subtle beauty. This type of ‘facial sculpting’ requires artistry . We want to enhance beauty whether this involves augmentation of cheeks or jawline, creating lovely lips or helping soften depressed lines and creases, I believe that ‘less is more’. What to avoid? The overfilled puffy Hollywood look! Nature intends for us to look natural.

Rhinoplasty and Nose Shaping

The most challenging operative procedure of the face is nasal surgery (rhinoplasty). Often this has dual goals: better breathing and improved appearance. Artistry from the surgeon is crucial. Each nose is unique and so is every rhinoplasty. Having completed a residency in otolaryngology, (ENT), I try to keep both the function (breathing) and appearance (aesthetics) in mind with each surgery that is performed.

Eyes are the gateway to the soul, as it goes. The colorful iris, whether it is blue, brown, hazel, or green, is like a pretty picture. Over time the upper eyelid skin begins to sag, and the lower lids can show baggy & crepey skin changes and the ‘picture frame’ begins to take away from the pretty picture. With eyelid rejuvenation our goal is to reduce the unwanted ‘picture frame’ changes, restoring the beautiful eye as the focus. This requires a delicate touch and discernment of not trying to do ‘too much’ around the eyes and eyelids. The results can be very gratifying and long lasting.

We want to get to know each patient as a person first, then listen and recommend treatment options in a collaborative manner. Patients actively participate in their care. We focus on a conservative ‘less is often more’ approach rather than recommending excessive procedures. Natural looking is best. We treat each patient as if that person were a member of our family.
