Breast Surgery
I perform several different types of breast enhancement procedures for my patients in the Kansas City area. One of the most popular ones is breast augmentation, and I enjoy helping my patients be able to achieve their goals when it comes to their appearance.
During a breast augmentation consultation, I will want to hear about your goals. Next, I’ll inform you with everything you will need to know about breast implant options and surgical techniques, as well as the post-surgical care, downtime, and recovery. Then, I’ll have you “try on” your implants with a sports bra so you can have an accurate representation of how your body will look after surgery. While I will give my recommendations based on your natural breast dimensions and what we discussed, it is ultimately the patient’s choice when it comes to volume. I find being collaborative with my patients results in a satisfying experience with the best results.
Abdominoplasty
A tummy tuck, also known as an abdominoplasty, is not only an ideal procedure for moms dealing with post-childbirth issues, but for anyone whose goal is to have a stomach that is firm and well-toned. A flat abdomen is hard to achieve for many people, even those who are dedicated to a healthy and strict diet and exercise regimen.
During a tummy tuck, the excess skin and fat in the abdominal area is removed, then the muscles of the abdominal wall are tightened, resulting in a midsection that looks smooth and taut. This procedure can be beneficial to a patient's sense of self-confidence, and it can also help with pain or discomfort that can result from the sagging or excess. It may even result in long-term weight loss; studies have shown that patients who opt for a tummy tuck surgery are more likely to not gain the weight back.

Dr. Hodge then attended the Connecticut Combined Hand Surgery Service for his hand surgery training before completing his plastic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Hodge also holds membership with the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been named a RealSelf Top Doctor. He also served as president of the Kansas City Plastic Surgery Society and held a role as clinical assistant professor at the University of Kansas Department of Plastic Surgery.
