5 out of 5 stars Tummy Tuck
Dr Curran is a wonderful doctor. He is caring and attentive. He takes the time to explain things fully provide you with resources and is very honest. Preparing me for what to expect esp. post-op was what made the recovery easier. He made himself available for any questions and was supportive throughout. He takes the time to know you and plan for what would work best for you. The procedure went great. The recovery time was 10 days exactly as he told me then gradually I was able to go back to full functioning. He gave me great advice on what to do to minimize scars. I am very satisfied with the results I have never looked better. I get a lot of complements now on how I look and these results wouldn't have been achieved with diet and exercise which I do.
5 out of 5 stars Rhinoplasty
I met with Dr Curran to originally discuss Lipo/tuck in the summer. Dr Curran was professional and provided thorough information about the procedure , recovery time and results. I decided not to go through with the lipo/tuck first and decided to inquire about rhinoplasty. My co-worker recently had a nose job and she paid $8000. I could not afford to take such an expensive risk although I did meet with the doctor that did my co-workers nose job (after meeting with Dr. Curran)....I wasn't sold the doctor rushed through the consultation (which was $100), and I did most of the talking. I went back to where I felt comfortable Dr Curran. Dr. Curran met with me discussed risk, procedure, recovery time, cost etc. he left no questions unturned. I was ready to make that life changing step to have Rhinoplasty. The day of the surgery everyone was so professional, supportive, and kind. I went in did my nose; what was strange after I came out of the operating room I could breath so much better than I could before the surgery. Dr. Curran performed a closed-Rhinoplasty on me. I took off from work two weeks. I had no black and blue marks on my face or under my eyes however; I did experience swelling. I was not in pain but, somewhat congested at about day 2. I'm still recovering with swelling mostly to the tip of my nose but, I LOVE the results already at 4 weeks. Dr.Curran is the BEST surgeon I've met and I have met with a lot of surgeons over the past 10 years. I put this surgery off for years and I'm glad I did; it allowed a very good surgeon to fix what I was unhappy with for so long. I'm so pleased with Dr.Curran that I will be undergoing another procedure this month with him.
5 out of 5 stars Breast Reduction
Fast Forward... I meet with Dr. John Curran and at first I was a little skeptical because, I hadn't done my research prior to the visit it was kind of the same day walk in but, I asked as many questions as possible. He was patient, polite, honest and stated I was the perfect candidate. He saw Asymmetry with my boobs, he also acknowledged the inflammation in my shoulders and said he didn't see why I wouldn't be an appropriate candidate. So, it was at that time he gave me a quote, took pictures, scheduled the surgery date for me and gave me the authorization form to be filled by my doctor. I didn't see the need in prolonging setting a date, I wanted he, he could do it, I was confident, he was confident and the quote was phenomenal why not? We were shooting for a particular date but, he gave me the closest thing to it which was two days before thanksgiving. I enjoyed how modern his communication was. He didn't give me a card and tell me to call the office with questions, he allowed me to email him and my emails were answered all throughout the day not just business hours which also made me more comfortable. He never seemed bothered by my questions, he explained things in lament terms not medical jargon which was also highly appreciated. He was also well organized he as never scrambling for things when I went to see him, he was also more concerned with what I was feeling and what I was thinking more than anything else.

5 out of 5 stars Tummy Tuck
To start out, I have wanted to have a TT for a long time now. I've been trying to find a way that I could possibly afford to have it done. I recently came across Lenox hill hospital plastic surgery clinic and had a consultation on thurs aug 1 st. They quoted me a fee of $4900, which I feel is doable in a few months. the only problem is the residents rotate every 3 months, so the doctor i...
5 out of 5 stars Tummy Tuck Revision
I had a Tummy tuck February 13, 2014 by Dr. Kiran Polavarapu. After 3 near full term pregnancies my stomach was a wreck. My muscle was stretched, I was covered in stretch marks and my abdomen was big. I Chose Dr. Kiran to do my tummy work and although she did an amazing job I still needed some tweaking. I had been doing research for a while and knew that to get the results that I wanted with...

Dr. Curran very professional, easy to speak with informative and overall a caring doctor.
So I've been wanting a Tummy Tuck since after my daughter was born in September 2007 but I always thought I would not be able to afford a $10, 000 Tummy Tuck. One day as I was doing more intensive research I came across Real Self and been a memeber since November 29, 2011. As I was reading reviews I came across mayra2011 review and read that she had it done for $4, 600 and how close Jacobi...
