I have been a patient of Dr. Koach for years and I am beyond happy with my experience and results. Dr. Koach listens to what my goals are for results and look I envision. My eye lids were down to the middle of my eyes - constantly watering and having trouble with my peripheral vision. I was very nervous as I have never had any surgery before. The surgery was done at a surgery center as an outpatient. It went very smoothly and I was done and back home in no time. There was really no pain involved. I would recommend the surgery to anyone that is interested.

After visiting my optometrist, he suggested seeing Dr. Kody Koch, because of my limited perhepal vision. Wow, after having my eyelids and forehead surgery it is amazing how much more I can see, my eyes are wide open, I no longer have the drooping eyes, they are bright and wide open. I am so happy!

Due to my rhinophyma, my self-image was pretty bad. I had given up on trying to take care of myself and gained a lot of weight. I went up to 300 pounds, didn’t want to go out into public places because of people looking at me. Out of fear and doubt I kept putting off seeking help. One night we went out to eat with my step-son’s family and during the meal my 3 year old granddaughter said “grandpa you have a big nose.” They started to scold her but I said no she’s right and then I tried to explain to a 3 year old a medical condition. Later I decided to ask my dermatologist what I can do. He sent me to Dr. Cody Koch. I was scared and worried about the pain and the cost, would it work? All kinds of things ran through my mind. From the very beginning Dr. Koch and his staff made me feel a lot more relaxed. Dr. Koch explained my options and told me what He would do. I felt I could trust him and we went ahead with the surgery. The day of the surgery Dr. Koch eased my nerves and my wife’s as well, and after, He came out to my wife and told her how it all went which eased her concerns even more. During the healing time Dr. Koch and his staff made their selves completely available to me and saw me often. Since the surgery I’ve gotten many complements and my self-image improved a lot. I’ve started to care about my health again. I’ve loss 40lbs since the beginning of this year, my relationship with my wife is stronger. She’s losing weight also. We feel like going and doing things again. My overall attitude and moods are much better. I get along better at work. My quality of life has shot way up. For one of my first facials at KochMD, it was definitely an awesome experience from start to finish. I am hooked on their impeccable service...and that has guaranteed many return visits! The front desk was attentive and inviting. I had the HydrafacialMD with Elise and she was a delight to work with. She made me feel comfortable and explained step by step what the facial would consist of. I would like to share my ongoing and overall experience with Dr. Cody Koch. I relocated to Iowa from Dallas, TX where I had visited a total of 5 different doctors with regards to my acne scaring. They all recommended and executed on their plan to diminish the appearance of my acne scarring. Due to the propensity of hyper-pigmentation on my skin, most had very ineffective treatments. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like the doctors in Dallas were committed to a long term approach, but rather something that would give me a more immediate result. Since moving to Iowa about 16 months ago, Dr. Cody and I have been working on my treatment together. He really took a very conservative, yet targeted approach to my acne scar treatment. He has spent a great deal of time walking me through his method explaining the why, while always asking me for my input through each treatment. With a total of 5 Erbium: YAG laser sessions under my belt with a gradual increase in depth from the laser I am seeing satisfactory results. At the age of 30 I feel more confident and am grateful to have him as my plastic surgeon. He always performs the treatments and even checks in with me via text or phone call. I feel like a patient/member and not just some transaction. He truly is committed to my satisfaction and I must say like any good relationship, he communicates and sets realistic expectations while arguably exceeding what he promised. I spent most of the day at the dermatologist's office having 2 MOHS procedures. I was very surprised to find out that I required reconstructive surgery. I was referred to Dr. Cody Koch's office. He and his staff were amazing! They made me feel very comfortable through the whole process. They were very concerned with how happy I was with the procedure. Very little pain! Dr. Koch did such a great job repairing my lip that people can't even tell it was done. I can't say enough about the fantastic service I received!

I had a deviated septum and a large bump on my nose, so I decided to get rhinoplasty and have the deviated septum corrected. Having a large nose caused me to be self-conscious all the time. However, after I had rhinoplasty I feel more confident with my new nose and I can breathe better! The first week after surgery is pretty rough especially with that cast on, it's not so much painful as it's extremely irritating. When the cast first came off, my nose was extremely swollen, but my doctor had warned me this will happen so I didn't freak out. After a few weeks the swelling and pain subsided drastically and became extremely happy with my decision to pursue surgery!

Had a severe deviated septum that needed correcting. Along with this I had feminine facial surgery on my nose. Pros of having this done was so I can breathe better. Con's, there are none. Dr. Cody Koch was able to to the surgery he described to me and then some. He had to completely remove my nose and rebuild it.

Upper eyes were hooded and lower eyes had huge fatty bags underneath. Being age 50 I decided I needed to look refreshed. The surgery was amazing with no pain at all, I promise! Not only do I look refreshed, but younger...! The scars are healed and you would never know. I thank you doctors and staff!
