The advantage of composite veneers is that they can be easily modified/Repaired/ Replaced. In your case, you can talk to your dentist if he can modify them to your liking or else you may need to visit another one who would be more proficient at Esthetic composites.&nbsp;

So a month ago I had composite veneers done on my front four teeth to make them even and white however this is not what I got and my teeth are clunky and uneven. My gums have been sore on and off since I had it done too. I want the bonding taken off but I don’t know if this is a real option?

first thing you need is Xrays of these teeth. If these are indeed deciduous teeth, we need to check whether there are unerupted&nbsp;permanent teeth in the bone and whether they can be brought into place with braces. If that is possible, then its the best possible way.&nbsp;
If there are no permanent teeth, or if present and&nbsp;they can be extracted,&nbsp;then implants would be the best option.&nbsp;
If they cannot be removed then you have to go with FPD.
In general implants will be a better option than fpd.&nbsp;

Hi ..I am 20...I have deciduous teeth( the lower inscissors). My doctor said that I should get them pulled out..And get implants. But I feel they are strong.( but they do not look good) Should I opt for implants or fixed partial dentures( caps) or shall i leave them as they are..? Even my father had the same problem..but he went for the fixed partial dentures..

Although a detailed examination is required before assessing the feasibility and expected results, Your problem can be solved with Porcelain veneers. You may need to have 6 or 8 veneers on your front teeth.

My front teeth are slightly off centre - probably by no more than a couple of millimetres, but it's noticeable on photos and camera which is an issue for my work. I'm keen to get this fixed but not keen on the idea of years of fixed braces! I do have one more tooth on one side of my mouth so not sure if that helps / hinders. Can I get this fixed by getting them capped? Or would Invisalign / braces be nessecary?

Yes, there can be catastrophic results like caries and decay of the underlying or adjacent tooth, Gum problems, Bone loss, Etc. You should get it checked with an X-ray as soon as possible and if the marginal fit is questionable, get a new crown done.

I recently received a zirconia (sp?) crown. It fits well in the space, but when I run my tongue along the inside, bottom/gum line- at the base of the crown- it feels like there is a small gap between the base of the new crown and my gum line. Is this space okay or could it lead to a problem if it is not fully seated flat against the gum line? Thanks for your help. Niki

Hello, I am a 40 year old with known dental work. I need 2 implants on my upper left and right 2nd molars with crowns, As well 7 additional crowns, upper rt 1st molar and both bicuspids, 2 upper bicuspids on the the left and 1 on each rt and lt lower bicuspids. In the last 10 years, my teeth have extensively changed, they are shorter, thinner, yellow and more transparent. Bite looks different. Does the above change facial features and expressions???

7 month ago I had my 6 top front teeth that were on a bridge removed and replaced with removable dentures which very uncomfortable and embarrassing what would be the best option instead of dentures?

I feel you may not achieve enough space to accomodate an Implant on either side. The mismatched space then would be more difficult to manage with veneers than it would be now. You must be able to get a good smile with six veneers on upper front teeth. Dr. Gaurav Kr Goel MDS

Have congenitally missing upper laterals but unlike other cases I've seen there was barely any space for implants, rather, the rest of my teeth seemed to come through further forward (e.g. canines where laterals would be). I don't have a narrow arch so it seems the only way for me to get implants would be to move the canines and molars backwards in the arch (towards the throat) to their natural position with the upper canines behind the lower. Is this possible and what would it entail? Headgear?

Age is not a deterrent for implants , other factors permitting. Implants are a perfect replacement for your existing dentures.You could go for all on four technique. You could also consider getting your treatment done in india to save a lot of money.

Hi Manjit, the cost of dental implants is a very subjective question. It depends upon the type and brand of implant, the quality of bone, Any other procedures that may be required such as bone grafting etc., The type of tooth to be placed over that and the expertise and education of the dentist and also the location of the dental office. I would be very skeptical of quality if someone does it for less that approx Rs 30-35000 for one tooth.
