there should be a number on&nbsp;the tray on the occlusal surface in the molars area . &nbsp; If you can’t read it on both I would guess&nbsp;the newer should be more visible. &nbsp;

I forgot to throw out last weeks Invisalign tray(s) &nbsp;I put this weeks tray(s)in the same spot. How do I know if I'm wearing the right tray?&nbsp;I'm not sure which tray is my current tray. I tried each top tray and bottom tray to see which one felt tighter. But, I'm unsure if what I need to be looking for is tightness or something else to make sure I'm wearing the right tray(s).

I mixed up my new and old trays, how do I know if I'm wearing the right one?

I would try and keep the area clean and may be use peroxyl&nbsp;mouth wash for now until&nbsp;the space is completely closed.&nbsp; The frenum is usually removed (Frenectomy) after full space closure and this will help in the stability and keeping the space closed.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

I am on my second to the last tray. I have never experienced this pain ( I'm sure because my gap in actually about to completely close. Should it be removed for final closing, or should I just deal with the pain?

The frenum between my to front teeth is VERY SORE, should it be removed before last tray?

I don't think any orthodontist can answer the question just by looking at these pictures.&nbsp; If you are not comfortable with the treatment plan or extraction you can always seek a second or third opinion.&nbsp; I assure you will get different ideas and treatment plan.&nbsp; You just have to find the one that matches you expectations and you are comfortable with, good Luck.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I'm 24, recently began traditional braces Tx to correct my bite. My ortho said I have about a 3mm overbite &amp; overjet &amp; that in order to recede the teeth far enough to correct this I need to extract 2 upper 1st premolars. I'm not 100% sure about this because of the potential negative side effects (breathing, TMJ, sunken face, unpleasant profile). I just want the best possible results for my case all things considered. I would like to get a second professional opinion on this matter. Thank you!

Hey! I’ve had this high canine tooth and crooked bottom teeth for a long time now, and i am considering getting braces. It affects the way i look when i smile and I’m hoping braces would fix it withing a year. How long will braces take to fully fix my teeth?

it gets complicated treating impacted teeth without braces, it all depends on your clinical records. one option is to use a mini implant to bring the impacted tooth down, (just to reduce your treatment time in braces) assuming you have enough room for the impacted tooth. followed by limited braces then invisalign if possible.&nbsp; Another option would be the use of lingual braces which is as good as traditional braces.

I have a dental flipper that I wear due to my canine (eye tooth) not coming down. I had to have both of my (baby)canines removed when I was in High School due to the teeth not coming in. One of the teeth came down and the other did not. I would love to have invisalign instead of traditional braces, but I am unsure if that will work due to the &#39;missing&#39; tooth. Is there a way to do invisalign and be able to pull the other tooth down? What are other options? Thank you!

Age is not a factor for invisalign treatment, its the health of teeth and the periodontal tissues. (bone level, gum health, roots of teeth).

I know sugar is suppose to be reduced with Invisalign and braces, and &nbsp;heard Xylitol is better for your teeth than sugar. Is Splenda also better for your teeth than sugar, or is it just as harmful?

Bad bite won&#39;t cause trigeminal nerve inflamation. &nbsp;I would see an orthodontist to check your bite problem. &nbsp;But I don&#39;t see your bite and trigeminal &nbsp;nevrve as related issues.

I had braces when I was young, but my retainer didn&#39;t fit after a while, so I stopped wearing it. Then I had four pregnancies and realized that my teeth were moving (visible changes). It can be achieved by moving the lower teeth back or the upper teeth forward, depending on your bite. We like some overlap between upper and lower anteriors, otherwise your chances of wearing down your anterior teeth are much higher due to zero overbite.
