there should be a number on&nbsp;the tray on the occlusal surface in the molars area . &nbsp; If you can’t read it on both I would guess&nbsp;the newer should be more visible. &nbsp;

I forgot to throw out last weeks Invisalign tray(s) &nbsp;I put this weeks tray(s)in the same spot. How do I know if I'm wearing the right tray?&nbsp;I'm not sure which tray is my current tray. I tried each top tray and bottom tray to see which one felt tighter. But, I'm unsure if what I need to be looking for is tightness or something else to make sure I'm wearing the right tray(s).

I mixed up my new and old trays, how do I know if I'm wearing the right one?

I would try and keep the area clean and may be use peroxyl&nbsp;mouth wash for now until&nbsp;the space is completely closed.&nbsp; The frenum is usually removed (Frenectomy) after full space closure and this will help in the stability and keeping the space closed.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

I am on my second to the last tray. I have never experienced this pain ( I'm sure because my gap in actually about to completely close. Should it be removed for final closing, or should I just deal with the pain?

The frenum between my to front teeth is VERY SORE, should it be removed before last tray?

If you have a healthy bone and periodontal tissue and you have no contraindication for&nbsp; extraction treatment, I do agree with your orthodontist.&nbsp; extraction will correct your midline and improve your overjet (overbite)&nbsp;and give you a better overall results.&nbsp; Just a reminder it's hard for anyone to give you a definite answer without full records and clinical exam.&nbsp; Good luck&nbsp;

I am planning to start invisalign. I have an over bite and the central incisors are shifted to the left. The cause of my Problem seems to be an extra lateral incisor on the right. My orthodontist recommended that I get that tooth extracted to have the best results. The extraction will leave a 6 mm gap which he reassured me that it will definitely be closed with invisalign. Without the extraction the results will be suboptimal according to him and the video model from invisalign company.

I'm not sure why brushing after a meal will erode your teeth, unless your meals always contain Soda or acidic food.&nbsp; I would try and use a soft tooth brush with gentle brushing followed by a mouth wash.&nbsp; You can always do a very thorough oral hygiene at night before you sleep (brushing, flossing, and mouthwash).
Back to your main question.&nbsp; leaving you aligners out of your mouth for 2 hours or less per day should not compromise your treatment. Discuss this with&nbsp;your dentist to be sure.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

I started Invisalign treatment &amp; would brush within 20 mins after meals &amp; began to notice the rigid edges of my teeth where I grind become softer &amp; rounder. I discovered brushing within 20 minutes of a meal is eroding &amp; I was doing more damage to my enamel than good. Now I wait an hour after every meal to brush and put my trays back in but they always feel a tight afterwards. Am I compromising treatment? What options am I left with to keep teeth clean and healthy?

If take my Invisalign retainer out for two hours to eat and burst what effects will this have on treatment?

it depends on your bite and the rest of the teeth.&nbsp; It's not possible to answer from one picture.&nbsp; looking at the crowding on the lower alone, most probably yes&nbsp;it can be fixed&nbsp;with braces or&nbsp;invisalign if your gum and teeth are healthy, but you&nbsp;also have to&nbsp;consider your upper teeth and bite when deciding on a treatment plan.&nbsp;&nbsp;

had braces for 2 years got them off and wore my retainer as informed . One of my front tooth slightly moved forward . My dentist fixed my retainer several times but then things became worse .. my too caniens started to move to the outside .. she fixed the retainer once more but this time she made it REALLY loose on one of the caniens claiming in will move down on its own then my canien moved out as in pictures! What should i do now ? I don't want to wear braces anymore

I'm 24, recently began traditional braces Tx to correct my bite. My ortho said I have about a 3mm overbite &amp; overjet &amp; that in order to recede the teeth far enough to correct this I need to extract 2 upper 1st premolars. I'm not 100% sure about this because of the potential negative side effects (breathing, TMJ, sunken face, unpleasant profile). I just want the best possible results for my case all things considered. I would like to get a second professional opinion on this matter. Thank you!

My top row has one twisted tooth and a snuggle tooth. The bottom is overcrowded, without a doubt. Is it possible to at least fix the top or bottom row. I feel I have a pretty small mouth. Would be willing to have ANY procedure, with metal braces being the very, very last choice.
