I had breast surgery 30years ago, they became very hard, uncomfortable, unbearable to live with, I was referred to Dr Bushnick, had the procedure..the surgery performed was EXCELLENT. The results are amazing. I would recommend Dr. Bushnick to all my friends, and family. I am going to have another procedure within 2 years from Dr Bushnick (mini face lift)
It was two days before my 21st birthday in March and I was hoping to be fabulous for it. However, I accidentally shattered my nose two days beforehand with an embarrassing incident I'm not even willing to admit to. Nevertheless, the bridge was broken and I was bruised and swollen for my big day. I consulted Dr. Bushnick just two days afterwards and immediately got X-rays to confirm my suspicions. He reviewed the results with me and discussed my options thoroughly. I felt very educated and confident and in the final decision that was made. We scheduled my rhinoplasty procedure for August and I began counting the days until I could look like myself again. The day came and I was incredibly excited. Dr. Bushnick put any fears I had at ease and with his lovely wife visiting my bedside as well, I felt in great hands. The procedure went flawlessly and I woke up feeling like a whole new person. I wore my face cast for a week and healed quickly. I had very minimal bruising and swelling during this time. He removed the cast and stitches shortly after and I could already see a huge improvement, even though I knew there was still time for the swelling to go completely down. Now six years later, when I reveal to people that I had rhinoplasty, they're shocked because they would never have guessed I had work done! It matches my face perfectly and I feel more beautiful now than ever before. My confidence has skyrocketed and it's completely thanks to the knowledgeable and courteous, Dr. Bushnick!
I had my tummy tuck and breast lift on December 16th. I am 33 years old and lost 80lbs 6 years ago. It was at that time that I had a breast reduction which prompted the weight loss. 80lbs light I was left with a lot of loose skin on my belly and breasts that looked like shriveled raisins. The decision to have the surgery was not an easy one and even up to the day of the surgery I was crying and upset. I just kept thinking that I should be happy I lost the weight and live a healthy happy lifestyle, I shouldn't care what I look like. But at the end of the day I could not get past hating the way I looked. My surgery went well and the doctor told me that he had removed 4lbs of loose skin off my stomach. 4lbs!! Who knew I had that much there! No liposuction needed! I cried I was so happy because then I knew I really did all I could and there was no workout that was going to take care of that loose skin. For my breasts he didn't remove any fatty tissue, just took a triangle of skin out and resculpted my breasts so that my nipple now faced outward, instead of up. I am 5 days post op now. Have drains in and am feeling really good. The drains are more a pain then anything. They don't hurt, they just get in the way. I feel like once I get them out I can start moving around a bit more. I do get tired fairly easy and really have to relax. I cannot wait to take a shower. For now I am reduced to having my husband wash my hair in the sink and a sponge bath everyday. My scar looks amazing! I have seen a lot of pictures and I think mine looks like one of the best. It is low, flat and skinny. My doctor was great and had a nice bedside manner. Even sent me flowers in the hospital for a speedy recovery! I am very happy that I made this decision! I look forward to not being as self conscious about my tummy and years of loving myself!
Had botox (forehead and eyes) and juvederm (tear troughs, bridge of nose, lips and marionette lines) at well-qualified doctor's office and am delighted at results. Cost included multiple vials of each -- not sure how much, but the price is more than fair. Last time I had botox (a year ago), went to an OB-GYN who was "branching out" into cosmetic procedures. She ended up using way too much, and in the wrong places. One of my eyes drooped for months, and there was little cosmetic improvement. My new doctor does only cosmetic procedures, and is not a "dabbler." He was one of the first doctors to use botox, and now actually teaches other doctors how to use injectables. His experience and training is invaluable and I would never go back to anyone else. Moral of the story: Do not pick your doctor by location or price, as cheap and convenient is fine for bread and milk, but not your face!
I am scheduled for a tummy tuck next month. I lost a lot of weight about two years ago and haven't been able to take off the rest. I have been thinking of a tummy tuck since I lost the weight but always had intentions of losing more before doing the surgery. Well that hasn't happened. I can't stand my abdomen. I'm going for it. I do like my surgeon and I feel he is confident and very knowledgeable but he didn't say if he was doing lipo with my procedure. I'm not sure if that's something he decides to do or not do during surgery. I hope my result is decent even tho I need to lose more. I took 3 weeks off of work. Updated on 8 Jul 2017: I'm 1 month out of my tummy tuck. I'm so nervous because I feel so much bigger than most tummy tuck candidates. Updated on 12 Jul 2017: Does anyone have any experience with their own tummy tuck where you were not at your ideal weight and had a fair amount of fat on your abdomen , not just skin ? I love to hear your opinions about this and see your results. Updated on 8 Aug 2017: I had surgery today! All went well. Lots of pain as expected. I'm excited to see my abdomen and I'm not sure when that will be. Updated on 10 Aug 2017: Not sure what to think . Obviously very swollen. Updated on 17 Aug 2017: 10 days post op I am so worried my public region will be that big. I have no idea how much I can contribute to swelling. Updated on 5 Sep 2017: I'm concerned about my drainage. I'm one month post op and I still have a drain in. Has anyone experienced this? Also my pubic region is huge. I am thinking I may have to have a revision.
