36 Y/o, 5'1", 3 BF kids, Workout 6-7 Days/week, Mentor 535 UHD

I'm wanting to get more lift as well as size. I'm fit and active, but I also have big hips and a big butt, I'd like to be more "evenly proportioned" with more of an hourglass figure. I'm choosing to go from roughly a B cup to approximately a DD, I will be getting the Mentor 535cc ultra high definition implant. I've been looking into this procedure for 1.5 years before making this decision. Updated on 4 Jun 2018: So I've gotten all my meds and all my indulgences already. Getting my very first mammo the day before surgery (dont know if I'm more nervous about the mammo or surgery) ????????. Nervous about what to expect (how will they look) afterwards. My husband took some time off for my surg day and my first post-op on Friday. Took some fun "before" pics, I'll update in a few weeks to compare with "after" pics. Updated on 6 Jun 2018: Trying to get some sleep the night before!! Nervous & excited!!! Wanted to post some before pics before I forget. Took an antibiotic preventive tonight. No coffee in the morning though. Did my mammo today, it's something my husband and I chose to have done. I'm ready!! Updated on 7 Jun 2018: Not all the pics uploaded... Updated on 8 Jun 2018: Was super groggy and pressure was bad in my chest and across my back yesterday. Sleeping was very difficult last night. I got about 4 solid hours of sleep last night, otherwise it was 45 min-1 hr off/on. Today is much better. Sponge bath this morning, brushed my teeth, and dressed myself. He removed the ace wrap around noon today and then the soreness was a little more noticeable along my sternum and my sides. Super tired today though now that I'm more comfortable. Here are some pics from this morning and this afternoon. Updated on 11 Jun 2018: Everyday is getting better. I can wash my hair in the shower and even brush it and put it up as well as french braid it. I've only been taking extra strength tylenol 3x/day since post op day 1, the pain meds and muscle relaxers made me act weird. I'm up and walking briskly while swaying my arms for 30-45 minutes daily. But I am taking about 2 naps a day. My appetite is down because of the decreased activity level. But the incisions look good and the implants have both dropped 2" as of this morning (post op day 4). I'm happy with the recovery so far, no gruesome visible bruising, and the wonderful look/size/projection. Updated on 14 Jun 2018: Had my 1 week f/u today. Got the all clear to resume normal activities including working out and sex. Only restriction is no submerging (pool, baths). Very happy with my progress. Starting massages to help assist implants in dropping. Incisions healing nicely. Updated on 28 Jun 2018: Doing really well. Haven't been doing any workouts especially chest workouts for a week now as chest workouts can lift the implants rather than letting them drop. The muscles are getting more relaxed and I can manipulate the implant around in each breast. They still haven't completely dropped though. Still not wearing any support at any time, and I absolutely love that!!! I've noticed a tenderness under my left breast and am going to get it looked at tomorrow. There is some pale yellow fluid leaking out sometimes. The area is tender but not painful to the touch. Updated on 20 Jul 2018: So...6 weeks post op. My infection from a few weeks ago cleared up with an antibiotic and was possibly due to a stitch still under the skin. The left implant isnt dropping as quickly as I'd like, so my husband and I are using the band which has made vast improvements in the past week. I have a f/u in a couple days to reassess the infection which has returned. I'm continuing to let gravity do its work. I run 1 mile daily and use a sports bra only when running. Updated on 23 Sep 2018: So I can wear a bra and some days it's hard to remember what I looked like before I had the implants. I love how they look and their perkyness is just awesome after the deflated look for so many years. They have a very natural feeling to them. The hardest part is finding a small enough bra that has a big DD cup size and form fitting tops that allow enough space for my boobs and tight across my slim and flat waist. The sagging is still evident at 14 weeks postop, but in 2 weeks the doctor is going to remove some skin above the nipples and pull the nipple up to allow a tighter fit and will remove the sagging. So I wont have the anchor scar and he isn't moving the whole nipple, but rather just pulling the top of the nipple up to meet the skin. Updated on 4 Nov 2018: So...I opted not to get the breast lift and then because my implants didnt completely drop, I had to get a ' "Perio nipple lift". Healing and doing well...but wish I wouldn't have removed my nipple rings for the hour long procedure. Updated on 28 Feb 2019: So I'm a few days shy of 9 months postop implants and almost 4 months postop since my nipple lift, so I thought I'd give an update. They feel amazing and healing has gone extremely well. They feel natural but with a lift! I ended up finding some lumps in my breasts which turned out to be just fluid cysts, benign, and I'll get a repeat mammo in 1 year. No other issues, completely satisfied...although maybe in 10 years, I'll go slightly bigger!!

Lots of Cleavage/perfect in Every Way - Chicago, IL

Dr. Pensler is as good as the doctors on the Los Angeles based series Botched. Before surgery my breasts looked like they should have belonged on a eighty year old woman, deflated flat and the nippled pointed downward slightly. I'm 32. Today my breasts are perfect thanks to Dr. Pensler. I own a dress that laces up on the sides and my side boob is amazing. I look great in backless dresses and stappy tops. I can wear any type of fashion I want! Dr. Pensler is a member of The American Society of Ascetic Plastic Surgeons for a good reason. He knows how to give you a ascetically pleasing outcome. He gave me what I wanted and then more. He exceeds expectations. Today I have great cleavage and big breasts that look perfect braless. I also recently received good news. I will have little to no scars. I dont even need scar cream! If you are in the Chicago land area(even if you dont live here) I highly recommend Dr. Pensler. He took care of me from beginning to end(I'm almost three months post op, healing great and I have another appointment in two months.) Microbiology is listed on his resume so you dont have to fear getting a unnecessary infection. He does an awesome job on sewing strong stitches that dont leave scars. I stupidly walked briskly on an incline three days after surgery and did martial arts exercises and never popped a stitch. He is a good listener who can create what you want. IMHO choosing Dr. Pensler is the first step in getting whatever it is you have been dreaming of. P.S. I would luv to post a picture of my breasts but as of right now only two people have seen them my bf and Dr. Pensler. It is more special if I keep it like that ;) Updated on 25 Mar 2016: My breasts look perfect braless. I'm very happy. I did need a lift. I want to say I had a nipple lift. I dont have the consultation paperwork that lists the procedure names othewise i would tell you the exact name of the procedure. Dr Pensler cut the upper part of my nipples so now they point straight forward. At my last checkup I asked about scars and I'm happy to say I won't even need scar cream. My results are nothing short of amazing. I am very happy. I have mentor memorygel breast implants, smooth round ultra high profile 480 cc's.

Zero to Hero - Chicago, IL

Back Story: I have been a negative A cup my entire life and always knew I was going to get implants because I'm obsessed with boobies. Dr. Pensler was the 2nd doctor I got a consultation with and immediately fell in love with him. He is very understanding, practical, realistic, honest, innovative and actually cares about what YOU want rather than what he wants-he unbiased. At the end of the day, he's real and a down to earth person. No B.S. and No Sales Pitch. That was in 2013. Jumping ahead to 2014...So I finally saved my money and went shopping again thinking I would interview other PS's. Pensler was only the 2nd Dr. I visited so I didn't want to make a hasty decision. To make a long story short, he has little competition. Other Doctors Interviews: Dr. Michael Horne is an absolute joke. He is RUDE, egotistical and seems very disinterested. He showed me before and afters on his computer screen, sent his sidekick in to put sizers on me while he laughed and joked with employees in the lobby-No thanks. Dr. David Ross is epic. He did not bother to measure me yet told me the size I wanted was too big. Then he said that he puts implants in his patients in the OR and if HE DOES NOT LIKE THE WAY THEY LOOK, he takes them out until he has a size HE is comfortable with. Could you imagine the stress your body would endure with this process? Joke #2: I have very little breast tissue and he told me there was no way he was going under the muscle, everything needs to go over the muscle. This contradicts everything I've read, studied and been told. Basically, this guy is stuck in the 40's and wants to avoid any notion of a lawsuit. He's a great Dr. if you want to go from a 34C to a 36C. Joke#3. He had the nerve to show me moderate plus implants and tell me they were high profile. The best part of the consultation was that he told me I "need to get real". Maybe he should "get real" and invest in a tape measure....just my humble opinion. Back to Dr. Pensler. So after my miserable vetting process, I went back to Pensler and booked my appointment for 480cc UHP. He set real expectations for me based on my current make-up and spacing of my breast. "Breast enhancement" He candidly explained that the implants are not going to work miracles but assured me I would be happy with the results. The surgery went well and thanks to Real Self, I was very prepared (cooked, cleaned for weeks, had an easy access table, ice packs by the dozen etc.). What I was not prepared for was the amount of pain I would be in. Day 1-4 were HELL. I mean Hell. I weigh lift, work out 6 days a week, eat well, the whole bit. I've never felt that horrible in my life. Most of the pain was associated with the size but my gosh! The first night, while the compression bandage is on is suicide. I even contemplated ripping the implants out. You can't breathe, you can't sit up. It was hard to cry. UGHHH! I'm 7 days post op. I'm currently having some weird/painful tearing sensation on the side of my right breast, specifically in the morning, which seems to be normal via Google but planning to follow up with the doc shortly. Otherwise, things seems to be going well. I'm riding high but really making sure to keep the skin lucubrated (no stretch marks please), iced, massaged and relaxed. The fact of the matter is Dr. Pensler is the man. His pricing is reasonable and he actually know what he's doing. That's pretty much all a gal can ask for.

Gyno Surgery a Great Success - Chicago, IL

Started getting hard lumps behind my breast at puberty,This hard glandular tissue increased with age and was quite painful and aesthetically unpleasing. A pat on the chest would almost bring me to my knees with acute pain, It also was aggravated more in the winter when it was cold. I read good things about Dr. Pensler and made an appointment. I liked everything I heard and then scheduled an appt for the outpatient surgery a month or so later. It was some of the best money ive ever spent. Im pain free in that area and my chest is flat. I lost a little shape in the breast area but that goes with the territory of removing the glands. My date that I had surgery posted here isnt exactly right but some period of time close to what I listed. I couldnt be happier with the results.

Breast Augmentation and Big Thank You... - Chicago, IL

I had my breast augmentation done on November 4th, 2013. I am so happy that I did it. Dr. Pensler is the best plastic surgeon that I know. He is amazing. After a surgery I had no pain at all just tightness. I was up and walking the same day. The only days I took muscle relaxes was November 4th and 5th. That’s it I didn’t even have to take any pain killers, because I had no pain. All my friends who had their breast augmentation with other doctors they were surprised how fast I recovered, because from their experience they were in bed for the whole week.I can’t thank enough to Dr. Pensler for such an amazing job. There is no words to express how happy I am and how amazing is Dr. Pensler and of course his nurse and his whole staff. Dr. Pensler really cares about his patients and his job. I hope Dr. Pensler would never retire! Thank you To Dr. Pensler and his whole staff, for support and really amazing job and for the best results. I am so Happy. Thank You again!!!!

I Deserve to Look More Like a Women - Chicago, IL

Hello everyone! I am currently 5 days post op from having a breast augmentation. I just wants to share my progress and help anyone of you that are deciding on having the procedure or have already. I started off with a 32A and currently have no idea what I will end up with! My breasts are changing everyday and it is exciting. I believe 325cc silicone will get me a C; which I have hoped for.Updated on 7 Mar 2013:It is currently one week after my surgery. My implants are still not quit where they're suppose to be, but they look phenomenal. I am still sore and my movement is limited, but I am no where near as handicapped as I was the first few days after surgery. I've been given the okay to begin wearing bras and begin with the daily massaging. Wearing bras help because I am not yet used to all this weight projecting from my chest :) and the massages are soothing and, honestly, just fun! Some areas are a bit more tense and stiff and then some are even numb; this is all normal. With time of course everything will be just right and better! Please feel free to ask any questions/concerns you may be having! Take care!

Great Experience. - Chicago, IL

I had lost over 70 pounds in the last three years and had been searching for a doctor for months between the San Francisco bay area and Chicago. I finally decided on Dr. Pensler because he made me the most comfortable and confident with the decision to proceed with the surgery. I had a body lift and bilateral gynecomastia. I am currently 3rd day post op and I am recovering just fine. His entire staff including the staff at the River North Sugery Center was nothing short of caring and professional.

Second Surgery with Dr. Pensler and Another Amazing Result! - Chicago, IL

I had my first BA with Dr. Pensler when I was 19. I've loved them throughout the years, but since the new gel implants came out, I always wanted to try them. I obviously also developed more in other parts of my body from when I was a teenager, so I wanted to go a little bigger so I could be a little more proportionate. When I had my first surgery, saline was the only option at that time. I had some friends that got the gels recently and they looked and felt so natural. After the imaging with Dr. Pensler, I was a little bit nervous because the size I liked me in on the computer was 475ccs. I had 325cc's at the time and the number just sounded so high to me and I didn't want to look unnaturally big. They ended up looking just like they did on the computer so I guess it all depends on your body type. I LOVE my new boobs!!! Best decision ever! :)
