Post-Pregnancy Procedures
A mommy makeover can recontour all of the areas of your body affected by pregnancy. At my Chicago, Illinois practice, The Art of Plastic Surgery, it’s one of the most popular procedures. Each mommy makeover surgery is different because pregnancy affects each woman’s body differently. It involves some combination of a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), liposuction, and a breast lift or other breast enhancement surgery, with or without breast implants. Some patients are good candidates for a mini tummy tuck, which is ideal for patients whose excess abdominal skin is limited to the lower abdomen, below the navel. It has a shorter incision, quicker recovery time, and less post-op discomfort than a traditional tummy tuck.
Hip & Butt Enhancement
Dr. Wiener of Chicago has become a leader in the Brazilian Butt Lift buttock enhancement procedure. Whether your butt has lost volume and deflated due to the effects of weight fluctuations, pregnancy, or the general aging process, or even if you simply never had a round, well-shaped butt, a buttock enhancement may be a good option.
Abdominoplasty
I frequently perform tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty) in my Chicago, Illinois practice. This popular procedure involves making a gently curved incision just below the panty line, removing excess skin, and tightening the abdomen. The result is a more toned, flatter stomach, with stronger abdominal muscles. This procedure can also be combined with liposuction to remove stubborn fat from the abdomen, flank, or hips and create the best possible hourglass contour. I use a medical grade adhesive rather than stitches, to minimize the appearance of scars. During a consultation, we’ll discuss whether you’re a better candidate for a full tummy tuck or a mini tummy tuck, which requires a shorter incision and less recovery time.

After completing his undergraduate degree in biology at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Dr. Wiener went on to medical school at the University of Kansas. His internship and residency was done in general surgery at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago and he completed his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
In addition to being certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, he is a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
