My results are incredible

I must admit as excited as I was to have my breast augmentation and lift, I was also nervous. Dr. Daw was attentive to all of my questions and very professional. My results are incredible and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely was worth it and I would refer him in a second if anyone needed a referral.

Incredible is an Understatement

Truly an artist! I am SO grateful I met Dr. Daw. He performed my tummy tuck and lipo of flanks and I couldn’t be happier. From the first consultation appt, he was very approachable, patient, and so kind. I’ve had many consults with plastic surgeons who all gave me a very arrogant vibe but he was completely different! Exceptional doctor - I wish I could give more stars, the results look natural but flawless

Dr. Daw is an A+ doctor for cosmetic surgery and liposuction. I wish I could give more stars. He is kind, knowledgeable and the end result is amazing. I consulted with many cosmetic surgeons before I found Dr. Daw and I will never go anywhere else. He isn’t arrogant and he doesn’t promise you results that are unrealistic. He doesn’t try to upsell you on a zillion procedures you don’t need do...

6 Q&A

Q: One eye is more hooded and droopy than the other. What options are available to correct this?
Answered by Dr. DawJanuary 29, 2020

A: You have excess skin in both upper eyelids but more on the left.  A difference in the amount of skin in the eyelids is actually common.  Upper blepharoplasty would be done by removing more skin on the left side than the right in an effort to minimize the hooding/drooping and balance the eyelids.  You also appear to have fullness in the inner corner of the upper eyelid, particularly on the left side.  This is typically due to an overly prominent fat pad that can be reduced.

Q: Want excess skin removed under eyes. Can this be achieved with transconjunctival alone? (photo)
Answered by Dr. DawJanuary 20, 2020

A: A purely transconjunctival blepharoplasty only addresses the fat that causes "puffiness."  Treatment of excess skin can be managed by excision (resulting in a well-hidden scar under the lashes) or non-surgical means such as laser or Plasma Pen.  It appears that you may be a candidate for non-surgical management of the skin.  If you have loose/excess skin in your lower eyelids after this, touch-up with skin excision can be done under local anesthesia.

Q: What can I do about deviated septum following orthognathic surgery? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. DawJanuary 15, 2020

A: When a deviated septum and crooked nose develop after upper jaw orthographic surgery, either septoplasty was not done or it was carried out inadequately.  Septoplasty, and possibly rhinoplasty, are then necessary to improve breathing and correct the nasal deformity.  To restore proper visibility of your upper teeth, upper lip shortening is an option for you.  Although I am not advocating this, repeat orthographic surgery to undo the undesired/unfavorable changes could be done.

Q: Is there a superior suture material and technique for better upper blepharoplasty results?
Answered by Dr. DawJanuary 14, 2020

A: The most important factor in achieving the optimal scar after blepharoplasty (or any other procedure) is the skill of the surgeon and his or her attention to detail.  The particular suture used or the closure technique utilized is of limited importance.  However, timing for suture removal may affect the outcome; sutures left in place too long could leave marks.  Some dissolvable sutures may not "fall out" early enough and could leave the track marks I am referring to.

Q: Will ptosis repair surgery help my eyes and give them a better look, especially when smiling?
Answered by Dr. DawNovember 24, 2019

A: Karl,

Based on the single photo that you provided, I appreciate mild ptosis of the upper eyelids that is slightly asymmetric.  What stands out more to me is the heaviness of your brows related to brow ptosis.  The distance between your upper eyelid lashes and the lower edge of the brows is very small, compromising the aesthetics of the eyes.  Optimal improvement would be provided by a brow lift and upper eyelid ptosis repair.
