I found Dr. Dieffenbach’s office online, after searching for surgeons in Hawaii for breast augmentation. I’d be looking for a few years now, and this year decided to finally get them done. I had 3 other consultations with 3 other well-known Hawaii doctors, but Dr Dieffenbach’s office was the 4th consult. I was very impressed with the Plastic Surgery Oahu initial phone call, as well. How was professional and patient the staff was, upon meeting them. I felt so safe and heard for my concerns and questions upon my initial consultation and decided to book my surgery. It is now currently 1 1/2 weeks of post breast augmentation surgery and I cannot tell you how quick and amazing my surgical healing is. I was able to move around normally after my Appointment, and even able to walk out of the office completely coherent and NORMAL FEELING! If there were a 10/10 star option for Dr Dieffenach’s office and his nurses and front desk staff, I’d give them all a 20/10 rating. They are incredible and the nicest, most genuine office staff for any medical cosmetic procedures.

Amazing! I went from 310cc to 520cc. My new breasts are perfect. I’m writing this 6 weeks post op and no complications. I’m glad I did the pro-nox instead of the anesthesia. I was not anxious at all before, during, and after the surgery. I would recommend this doctor.

Dr. D is the guy you want to see for an arm lift! I checked out multiple doctors and even some in the mainland. Dr. D had the best looking scars out of all of them. He’s very upfront about everything and reassured me every step of the way. Alina is just as amazing! I had sooo many questions and irrational worries and they kindly guided me through the whole process from start to finish! I chose to do the surgery awake with pro-nox and local anesthetic shots. My experience was that it was less painful than a tattoo. I chose to do it this way because it was cheaper and I’m afraid of being put to sleep. The recovery process was hardest during the first week but it’s wasn’t super painful, just uncomfortable. I went back to work at 2 weeks. I’m now at 5 weeks and I’ve followed every aftercare step down to a T. My arms look great, my scars look great, the way that Dr. D placed the scars are not visible unless I show you them. I am so happy with my results and the service from Dr. D and Alina! I will definitely be back for more! Thanks Dr. D & Alina!!

This was my first experience with any plastic surgery and was impressed from the first consult and beyond. Dr. D and his nurse are fantastic - very attentive, pay attention to detail, and really listen. They helped guide me through and provided great support as I went through the process of a breast augmentation. I am incredibly happy with my results!

Dr D was incredible from start to finish. I had an implant removal as well as a breast lift. I had him pop and drain my implants about 5 weeks before surgery, to help the breast skin come back a bit. I did the surgery under only pro-nox and it was great! They did prescribe me a Valium to take before as well as a pain pill, which I did. I was pretty nervous at first, but I didn't feel a thing, and it was nice to know (sort of) what was going on while he was doing the removal and lift. (There is a sheet up in front of you so you cannot see what's going on.) Dr D's communication and after care is superior. He and his staff were always very attentive and helpful with my questions before and after surgery. My results were great, and I highly recommend Dr D for your plastic surgery needs on Oahu. I opted to have a breast lift without implants and reshaping of the breast from a more tubular structure to a more rounded shape. This was both for plastic and symptomatic reasons similar to what breast reduction patients have (shoulder pain, rashes, difficulty exercising). Dr. Dieffenbach was very knowledgeable and very confident in his ability to deliver exactly what I asked for. He also didn't push me to do more than what I wanted to do. He even allowed me to choose to leave some minor asymmetry between the breasts that has always naturally been me, just lessening the difference. This allowed the surgery to remain less invasive. The procedure itself was done with Pro-Nox (laughing gas) for anesthesia, which was a nice and painless experience. I was able to know the entire time that my nipple sensation was still intact, which I liked. My breasts are exactly what I hoped for at 6 weeks post op. Scars are flat and areolas are even. I think I look great, and my breasts are even more perky than I anticipated. And I still feel like me, but alot more comfortable. Highly recommended! Updated on 13 Mar 2023: While I'm very shy, here are a couple pics for other women with tuberous breasts considering a non-implant lift. I started as a large C cup and I'm still about the same size. Sorry I don't have pre-op pics, but I was full on grade 3 ptosis with enlarged areolas. Breast shape can take up to 1 year to finalize. My breasts have been gradually rounding out on the bottom which has been lifting the nipple bit by bit and scars have started to fade. I'm still extremely pleased at 4 months post. Realistic expectations and self love are key ingredients here. We're all beautiful inside first.

I was able to do my TT procedure without using an IV sedation, the scare is very low and I didn’t have to deal with any drainage tubes. I would absolutely do it that way again. By the way his staff is so wonderful and caring and vey Thorough in explaining directions for medications and the process with the gentle touch and comforting words. After having saline implants for 16 years, I finally made the decision to have them replaced with new silicone implants by Dr. D and it was an amazing experience! My procedure was done using Pronox (nitrous oxide) commonly known as “laughing gas” as the sedation technique. Although I was a little nervous with the thought of being awake during surgery, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and relaxed I was during the procedure. Also, because the gas wears off quickly, recovery was a breeze! I was not groggy and disoriented after the procedure like most people would be with IV sedation or general anesthesia. In fact, I continued my daily duties right after surgery, without over doing it of course. When my husband picked me up, he actually said it did not seem like I just had a procedure done because of how cognitive and lively I was afterward. From my experience with Pronox, if this option is ever available for your procedure, I would highly recommend it! I would do it over again using this sedation technique without hesitation. I am very satisfied with my results and love my new and improved breasts. Thank you for everything, Dr. D and staff! Updated on 7 Jun 2022: Very happy with my new “gummy bear” silicone breast implants. They are a nice upgrade from my previous saline implants that caused quite a bit of rippling.

What made me choose Dr.D was that he explained every detail of the procedure he was going to perform. He took photos of my nose and was able to photoshop the results of what my new nose would look like. I was thrilled! His staff is very kind too! 9.5 months later and I must say that this is the best procedure I’ve had done! I get lots of compliments from my friends and family that remembers what my “before surgery” nose looked like. I’m super happy! So glad I chose Dr. D!
