It looks like you would do very well with a traditional tummy tuck without the extended incisions. I do not think that you would get a satisfactory result with a mini tummy tuck. Is it possible that there is some confusion between the terminology of mini, traditional and extended?
Regarding scars, several factors determine what the scars look like once they are healed. The primary factor is your genetic healing tendencies. The best way to predict that is how you have healed from previous incisions. If you don't have any previous incisions/scars, the next best predictor is how your family members have healed.
The next factor is environmental factors like smoking, sun exposure etc. You definitely should not smoke or use other nicotine containing substances for several weeks before and after your surgery. And no sun on the scar until it is mature.
The next factor is surgical technique to reduce tension on the closure and to minimize the risk of infection. I have found that quilting sutures or progressive tension sutures do an excellent job of taking tension off of the closure and gives the best chance to lead to a thin, fine scar. Infection along the incision or tissue loss can cause the scar to be very unsightly so minimizing that risk is needed.
I think pressure on the scar for a few weeks after is helpful too. Once the sutures are out, I have patients use paper tape on the incision for several weeks.
Best of luck to you with your surgery and recovery! It looks like you are an excellent candidate.
