Great fast recovery laser peel. Skin peels for about 3-4 days and you are ready to glow. Highly recommended! No cons just pros with no downtime. You barely feel laser on your face and it is a very quick procedure. My was lever 4 because my skin is darker/olive and it was my first experience with laser. Dr Pettigrew was great and knew what was the best for my skin type. Your face feels a little hot for about 2 hours after the peel and you can apply cold compress until gone. Peeling started at day 2 and continued for about 4 days but very manor, and almost invisible. Pictures are 2 weeks after the peel. My face feels great and it is clear enough for me not to wear makeup.

Dr. Pettigrew is very knowledgeable, patient & a great listener. She has great bedside manner. She made the DiVa treatments fast & painless, yet specified to my incontinence issue. I could tell an improvement in just 1 treatment! I can now workout without the fear of having an accident during class. I'm so excited to discover the further improvement of treatment 2, that I had this week, & treatment 3 next month. My husband is also thrilled with the overall tightening results...it's like we are newlyweds again. Needless to say, Dr. Pettigrew improved my workouts, self-confidence & marriage!

I had Allofill, a newer filler to the market injected in my lips and tear troughs and couldn't be happier with the results. I chose Allofill because it is an all natural filler, that provides long lasting results. Dr. Pettigrew applied topical numbing cream to the areas and the pain was minimal. I only felt a burning sensation as the product went into my lips, but it quickly subsided. I didn't have any discomfort in the tear trough area, there is a tiny bruise at one injection site, that was easily covered with concealer and has already gone away. I have a small bruise on my bottom lip, but its nothing that I can't hide with nude lipstick. I had some swelling immediately after, but after using an ice pack, it went away and I was able to have dinner with my inlaws with no one noticing anything. There was no swelling at the tear trough area. My favorite part about both procedures AND Dr. Pettigrew, is that no one has said "have you had something done?" I have just been told I look "refreshed" many times and that my makeup looks nice. This is huge because I have a 6 week old baby, so I am definitely not feeling refreshed, but at least I look like it!!!

I, as a patient, see Dr. Pettigrew for many things. Hormone Therapy, Laser therapy & general women's care. I'm a 32 year old female who has a a full complete Hysterectomy. I started hormone therapy over two years ago. After trying every pill,cream patch/gel out there for hormone replacement none of it worked for me. I was still very moody, constant weight gain, hot flashes etc. So I finally decided to try Hormone Pellet Therapy. For me, it has been the Holy grail of treatments! Within a few weeks I had more energy, weight was better, hot flashes gone, wasn't as snappy. Just overall better. With Pellet therapy you know exactly what you're getting and what's going through your body. No synthetics or generics of any form in pellet therapy. I personally have had no side effects from HRT. The procedure itself is also painless. The pellets are injected through a small incision on your side, covered with steri strips and tagaderm followed with no pain or downtime. I also have had facial/skin therapy. I have very fair skin with extreme dark circles under my eyes, a lot of brown/ageing spots & some acne scarring. The first step we took in my skin care was the Nano peel. For me the Nano peel was a breeze. No pain during treatment or discomfort. Hours after the first Nano peel my skin was very red and dry but with no pain. The next day my skin seemed very tight and itchy followed with some peeling on the third and fourth day. I would highly recommend staying away from the sun as well as using sun screen followed with a good moisturizer daily!!After peeling my skin was noticeably better. More clear and a lot of spots gone but could tell I needed to have another treatment along with BBL (Broad Band Light) for the dark circles and brown spots that were more deep/large. My second Nano peel she went deeper with more passes as well as adding BBL under my eyes and for the more stubborn brown spots. Again, the procedure itself had no pain. Post peel was different this go around. Day two I had some swelling around my eyes and a lot more tightness than last peel. Still,for me, no pain. Felt more like a sunburn. Swelling lasted maybe half a day tops, my skin started to peel and tighten a lot faster the second peel followed with dryness but you could see way better results with adding the BBL to my second Nano peel.Dark circles are by far & noticeably better and my brown spots are gone. I feel confident enough now to go in public without it taking me gallons of concealer for my dark circles/brown spots! To say that I'm happy with my treatments thus far is an understatement! If you have any type of insecurities about your skin or body Dr. Pettigrew & her staff will go above & beyond to get you where you want to be!!

I became interested in the Forever Young BBL procedure after looking at a brochure at my doctor's office. I saw a variety of before and after photos that were remarkable. Several people in the photos actually looked better and younger after 10 years, than when they started. the other factors that attracted me to this procedure were the virtual no downtime and the small number of treatment needed (I assume it also varies from person to person). The doctor explained to me in details how this procedure works and what to expect. The procedure lasted about 20 minute for the whole face. After testing a small area I opted for no topical anesthetic. It was comfortable. My eyes were protected. I felt a warm feeling a little "snap" sound as the doctor was moving the pulse light device around my face. Afterwards there was some redness, not a lot, which resolved in a couple of hours. The following day I saw a friend who complimented me for how radiant and smooth my skin looked. After a couple of days I noticed a couple of pinpoint darker spots which faded and resolved afterwards (It had been explained to me that in some spots it could happen). After 3 weeks I noticed that my skin looks more even and a little tighter. I have found a treatment of choice for me, it is effective, fast with no downtime, additionally is not that expensive for the results that it delivers.. I highly recommend this treatment.

I had heard about the BBL treatment and after consultation with my doctor, decided to undergo the treatments. The procedure was carefully explained to me by my doctor and the results are stupendous. I am by nature a "just get on with it" type of patient. Although I was offered some numbing creme, having been told that some areas could be sensitive, I declined. However, when it started, I realized that the application was at first a bit uncomfortable. My doctor then gently applied some very light numbing creme to my face, waited about 30 minutes and began the procedure again. The creme was highly effective. I did have a bit of sensitivity around my mouth area, but it was nothing that bothered me. The entire procedure took about 30 minutes and left me with no redness or discomfort. And by the next day I noticed results immediately. It has been exactly a week since I received the treatment and I am overjoyed by the results. My skin in smooth, I do not notice any brown spots and feel as if my skin looks creamy and babyish. I am scheduled to receive two more treatments and look forward to continuing and getting better and better results, if that is possible,as I can't imagine I could look better. Amazing! I have been instructed to not get my face in the sun at all for the next two weeks. With sunscreen applications daily and wearing a visor, I am easily avoiding sun exposure. The treatment results for me were instantly visible and the application of the device used was truly a non-event once I had the numbing creme. The doctor was gentle, kind and constantly explained what she was doing and what I might feel. The only unique situation was a bright flashing light, which because it had been explained beforehand, was not shocking or bothersome as she put light blinders on my eyes, similar to a sleep mask. I would highly recommend this treatment for anyone who wants to enhance one's complexion and skin tone.

After having the fraxel laser treatment my skin looked vibrant,healthy,and overall more youthful.Dr.Pettigrew is an amazing doctor,she prepared me for the procedure by explaining what to expect before and after the treatment.Prior to the laser treatment a local numbing cream was applied to my face for approximately one hour,which really helped with the discomfort.During the treatment Dr.Pettigrew always made sure I was comfortable with the laser and let me know when the laser was being placed on my face.After the treatment I was given clear and thorough instructions on skincare,downtime and avoiding sun exposure,Dr.Pettigrew also gave me a prophylactic Vatrex to prevent fever blisters.One week after the treatment my skin tone improved,had a smoother texture,and an overall vibrant healthier look.One treatment improved my skin that had a lifetime of over exposure to the sun.I am very pleased with my results and would highly recommend Dr.Pettigrew and fraxel laser.

Dr Pettigrew is a skilled physician who took time to answer my questions and discuss which treatments would best achieve my desired results. I’ve had Botox injections many times before and found her results to be the most natural. The facial treatment I had removed brown spots and required minimal downtime. Dr Pettigrew’s staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience!
