brighter eyes. Marietta, GA

My eyelids became practically closed by the end of the day. I could not stay awake reading or watching TV. 2 months after my surgery people were saying "you look refreshed ". I can now wear contacts, where as before my eyelids were popping them out. I am told I look younger. I can now read and watch TV without my eyes getting tired quickly. I can see better when driving now. Updated on 26 Apr 2015: I am very pleased with the out come.

Would do it all over again if needed - Upper Eyelid Surgery - Marietta, GA

Would do it all over again if needed. One of the easiest procedures I have ever had done. NO Pain! I did have quite a bit of bruising and some swelling but within two weeks you could never tell I had anything done. I still can't believe I never had to take a pain pill or even a tylenol. Medicare covered my surgery and the anesthesia.

For my sagging eyelids - Upper Eyelid Surgery - Marietta, GA

I originally went to see my Dermatologist about getting Botox for my sagging eyelids. She referred me to an Eye surgeon b/c she felt I may need more than Botox to get the result I needed. I made an appointment and after several visits and lots of documentation, I was approved for Blephroplasty of the upper lids. My insurance company paid for my surgery as my vision impairment due to the saggy eyelids was within the "zone" deemed "restorative." I was so excited b/c I had spent countless hours pulling my brows up to see my eyes!Updated on 15 Sep 2011:I had this surgery in June of 2009. My recovery priod was relatively short. I was under general anesthesia for the procedure. It was done in the surgical center and I was there for several hours including the recovery time. After a few days I saw some bruising on my face around my eyes. In about 2 weeks i was pretty much back to normal and wearing makeup. I love the results and will post pics soon as I get themm from the Dr. office!

Eyelid Red Mark and Still Bags After Transcutaneous Surgery

I had upper and lower Transconjunctival blepharoplasty 3 years ago. The doctor removed too much fat which resulted in excessive lower eyelid skin. He tried tightening with CO2 Fractal laser twice. This did not tiighten enough to remove bags. Last surgery was a Transcutaneous blepharoplasty with canthoplasty to prevent eyelid retraction. I am 18 months post surgery and still have bags under eyes but also red section on my right eyelid that will not go away. Suggestions to correct?
