Robert D. Moore, DO

I am a repeat patient of Dr. Moore. I first went to him for my hymenoplasty years ago (didn’t have to go under), then again yesterday for a labiaplasty. Having had to go under for the first time ever I was genuinely so afraid. But it was the best, smoothest experience I ever had and I felt so comfortable and amazed by Dr. Moore’s work. Right now, the results are pretty amazing - somewhat swollen of course - but it’s expected the next day! I would recommend Dr. Moore over any other doctor. He definitely cares and goes over everything with you. P.S. I’m in no pain today, either! The work is just incredible. I’d definitely come back to Dr. Moore for any future surgeries. I flew from 15 hours away just so he could be the one to do my surgery, and he and his staff were always responsive and just didn’t disappoint!

I had been contemplating this surgery for a long time. After a lot of research, I contacted Dr. Moore of Miklos and Moore in Atlanta Ga. I had labiaplasty, anterior and posterior repairs , and vag rejuvenation. I made the trip from Ohio alone and the experience could not have been any better. No question was unanswered and I knew I was in the most competent hands. Anything I needed was taken care of and at any time of day or night , I could reach someone with any concern or question. My recovery was easy and I cannot say enough good things about everyone at Miklos and Moore. I love my result and would make the same choice over again. If I could, a hundred star rating!

Some stats on me: I'm 23, freshly out of college, and have ABSOLUTELY despised my labia forever. After researching my butt off, I finally found an incredible physician in Atlanta. I am now one week and two days post-op and while the swelling and itching have been a pain, I am over the moon with my results! You'll see in the photos the progression of one day, four days, and 6 days post-op. My right labia has been WAY more swollen the entire time, but it required more extensive work. The bruised, swollen portion you see in the photos is ALL the right side. The left side is pink and nicely hidden. My doctor assured me when the swelling is gone, the sides should match! I'll keep this updated as I go! Updated on 21 Nov 2017: The right side is continuing to get smaller and match the left! I continue taking ibuprofen to decrease swelling. I didn't ice today but I still do to also help with swelling (plus it helps itching!). I am already very happy with my results. You all, I cannot reiterate how important it is to pick a physician who knows about the anatomy and this procedure. Dr. Moore is a urogynecologist (spelling?) and has extensive knowledge of the vagina and vulva. I have nothing but respect for plastic surgeons, but I can't say enough about choosing the doctor I did! Updated on 22 Nov 2017: Here are a few more before photos. I forget how I used to look! Updated on 16 Dec 2017: Updated on 29 Apr 2018: Hey everyone! So it’s been over 5 months since my surgery! About 10 days ago I had a small revision to reduce the hood a tad and right side (it was the monster side). I am literally over the moon with my results. I can’t say enough good things about dr Moore. The revision was a breeze!

I had a labiaplasty and it was the most easy and comfortable surgical experiences I have had. I was not nervous to talk about the procedure with him. He really gave a full and comprehendible description of the surgery so I knew 100% what I was getting in to. The surgery went flawless and I had minimal swelling and bleeding. I could move around better than expected. Since I traveled to him I was nervous about post surgery complications but I could call or send a picture at anytime. Thanks Dr. Moore!

I thought I would be dealing with stress incontinence forever, or maybe I am just getting old, but no way! Dr. Moore was positive he could end my problems with incontinence, and he did!! Dr. Moore is very pleasant, informative ( including diagrams), confident, extremely skilled, and I easily felt at ease. Since I have had my surgery I have never once had any incontinence. I am liberated!! No need to find bathrooms, no need to be nervous that I will have an accident, no need for pads, and best of all my bladder doesn't control my life! Dr. Moore has a wonderful staff and all the nurses are smiling and his office is obviously well run. I have been a RN for over 40 years and I can honestly say I know a great Dr. when I see one. Make an appointment with Dr. Moore and let him help you get control of your life again!

Because my symptoms were just too embarrassing to talk about, I put off pursuing even a discussion about them with my GP or GYN for about 6 years. Over the last 6 months, avoiding the issues was no longer possible; my daily life was negatively impacted and I knew the problems had to be addressed. Several doctors in the diagnostic phase all recommended that I make an appointment with Dr. Moore, assuring me that he is simply the best in his field, highly skilled, and someone they would see if they were dealing with the same symptoms. The initial appointment confirmed the advice and recommendation I had received. Dr. Moore took time that day to meet with me before the tests and exam, and then again afterward to go over the diagnosis (rectocele/enterocele/cystocele/vaginal prolapse) and his recommendations. He not only explained everything, and kindly answered all my questions, he gave me a booklet that included everything he discussed, with additional articles and illustrations to further my understanding and help with the decision to move forward with surgery. I had no doubt whatsoever that Dr. Moore was absolutely the very best doctor for the procedures I needed. My surgery took place 6 weeks ago and the improvement has been dramatic. Post-op recovery went smoothly and the problems I was experiencing are gone. Dr. Moore's training as a Urogynecologist, along with his skill and experience have, for me, allowed him to manage every detail of my care and I couldn't be more grateful to have been his patient. Adding to the whole experience is Dr. Moore's staff. They represent him well with excellence, proficiency, and compassion. The office staff was always friendly and helpful and Dr. Moore's nurse, Danielle, couldn't have done more to help me through the testing, pre-op, and post-op appointments. They all made this experience as comfortable as it could have been

My entire life I always felt like a had large inner labia lips. One day I commented on it to my gynecologist and she said that in reality it was my labia majora was underdeveloped. I wonder how many women do labiaplasty and have part of their natural inner lips cut when that isn't really the problem. How can you tell? Does your labia majora ever wrinkle or look dented? If yes, it is problem an underdeveloped labia majora problem. I went to Dr. Moore or Miklos & Moore in Atlanta for the procedure and am happy with my result. I was asleep for the surgery. With fat transfer, doctors overinject so that after the initial fat loss you still have the desired result. I knew this and expected to be swollen like a softball--and I was. This swelling was very painful and felt like my vagina might rip apart...but of course it didn't. This just the normal post-surgical expected swelling and it so it was not alarming. There was one thing--however--which completely freaked me out and people should be told this in advance of surgery. The injected fat does not feel like soft fat right away. Instead it feels like testicles!! This is not an exaggeration. Women should definitely be told this in advance as it was extremely disturbing. After a few weeks it finally softened. Pros: It was only a few thousand dollars and solved my insecurity. :) :) Cons: - The doctor was not careful where he put the incisions for harvesting fat and it looks like I have permanent pee droplets on each inner thigh halfway down. :( Someday I may return to Dr. Moore for vaginal rejuvenation. I did not need this when I had my fat transfer but have since had a baby. He was a friendly doctor and one of the top in the pelvic surgery field.

Dr. Robert Moore has the best bed side manner of any surgeon I have ever encountered. His work is amazing, when he was finished I looked and felt 15 again; and I have had three children. He and his staff are very professional and compassionate. I had perineoplasty d/t problems facilitating a vowel movement and the surgery corrected the problem with no scarring.

Dr Moore has something most gifted surgeons DO NOT have, a wonderful bedside manner and compassion for his patients. As a registered nurse I have spent my entire career working with surgeons and they often lack people skills. Dr. Moore exceeded my expectations. I spoke with another RN in the waiting room who was still a little apprehensive about her procedure. I told her she was in excellent hands and I have zero regrets. I will be returning to Dr.Moore for additional needed procedures that I just don't trust my ob/gyn to perform. Word of mouth is the way most nurses select their physicians and I will refer Dr. Moore to my friends and associates.

After having numerous vaginal births, I lost vaginal sensation. Being such a dedicated mom, I no "me time"and also not to mention being embarrassed about my situation I needed to get my life back. So I finally built up the nerves and decided to make some time for myself. I decided to visit Dr. Moore to explore my option's. I'm glad I did!!!!
