With each passing day, I’m quite pleased with the amazing results of my face, neck, and eye lifts. Doctor Codner definitely is an incredible genius with his talented surgical skill sets in rejuvenating, recontouring, and revitalizing my targeted areas. My spirits have been uplifted with the number of compliments that I’ve received from family and friends in how natural and youthful my appearance is. From my consultation to surgery to follow up visits, I felt extremely confident in Doctor Codner’s adeptness in understanding, caring, and listening. I look forward to next procedure that I have planned. I must also compliment his professional staff. Thank you, Doctor Codner, for my expectations were achieved!
I have a very public job, and so recovery time was important to me. I had a lower face lift and liposuction around my chest area, and had a two-week window that I could take off from work. I returned to work after the two-week period, and although there was some swelling around my neck area, it was not overtly noticeable to the people I came in contact with. In fact, the face looked great even at that point, and people asked if I lost weight or something, which even for a male is complimentary. The Codner team was just wonderful, and I highly recommend them.
Julie is an artist. She knows anatomy and is also safe. She is always attending the latest training and staying abreast of what is going on in the industry. As far as my personal injections, she brings light and a refreshed look with my BOTOX especially with my brows and I’m constantly getting compliments on my lips! This review was created as part of a nomination to the RealSelf I Love My Injector Campaign.
Codner's unparalleled surgical talents and flawless office staff exceeded my expectations. When leaving the hospital after a restful night, a nurse said, "Dr. Codner must have done your surgery - we can always tell his patients because they look extremely natural and have the lowest complications." With minimal bruising, nearly invisible incisions and mild discomfort for 3 days, trusting Coder to perform this procure was the best decision I've made.
Perfect. Mild mannered and very much pays attention to details. Soooo much confidence in every move he makes with the patience. The office and the staff we perfect. Always kept to time schedule and always as much time with questions that you will ever need
I am a 71 year old male, who badly needed to have excess skin removed from my eyelids and underneath my eyes, as well as in the areas of my neck and face. I put it off for years until I met with Dr. Codner. He was really great, giving me encouragement and helping me through my anxiety, both before and after my surgery. I also have only the highest praise for all of his staff for their support and patience with me, answering all my endless questions. I am really happy with the results, even though it has only been three weeks since my surgery. When I look in the mirror, I see the person I wanted to see. Dr. Codner is the best plastic surgeon, and I would recommend him to anyone.
Outstanding outcome. I could not be happier with the entire experience. Dr. Codner is a superb surgeon and his staff is highly competent. What a group of caring and knowledgeable people. I continue to be awed by their responsiveness whenever I have a question. "Planet Facelift" is a significant surgery and Dr. Codner and his team are exceptional. Awesome results, awesome experience!!
After getting up my courage to have surgery on my face/neck, I got recommendations on different plastic surgeons. The highest recommendation I received was for Dr. Mark Codner, so of course he was my choice. Dr. Codner performed my surgery; he is an excellent surgeon and caring person. His office staff is so friendly and welcoming. I have no doubt at all that my choice of Dr. Codner was the perfect one! The results from my surgery are wonderful - so much better than I ever hoped would be possible!
Dr Mark Codner has wonderful bedside manner and is an amazing surgeon...a true artist!! I would highly recommend him. He did lipo on my bra fat, hips and triceps, jaw and neck lift and mini tummy tuck. All turned out better than I ever imagined!! I recovered quickly, with minimal bruising, especially on my face. His staff is highly skilled and knowledgable.
I had had a lower face lift, brow lift, eye surgery and breast lift with another doctor five years ago. The results were so disfiguring that I have had nightmares ever since. I approached Dr. Codner about a year after my initial surgery, but he felt at the time that I was not mentally ready for a revision. I really appreciated his honesty and the warmth and professionalism of his staff. Two months ago (after having consults with several other doctors) I went back to Dr. Codner. He felt that at this time, I was ready for some small revisions. He wanted to start slowly and gain my trust and go from there. We decided to do Ultherapy to get rid of some of the fat in my cheeks and underneath my chin. These results won't be visible for a while. We also decided to do a bilateral temporal lift to restore my eyes to their original shape. I cried when I first saw the results of my eyes. I now have eyes that are the same shape, they no longer droop down at the corners and I no longer look like I am a victim of bad plastic surgery. People who don't even know I had surgery compliment me on how pretty I look now. I am absolutely thrilled and I no longer have nightmares.
While 22 is early for a blepharoplasty, you may consider a crease procedure which creates a soft cease without removing any tissue. You may also be a candidate for an internal browpexy to elevate and stabilize the tail of your brow without a brow lift procedure.
Small volumes of fat transfer, such as to the face, can be safe and effective when performed with local and topical anesthesia.
Since you are 22 and have a 2-3 mm fold above your eye shadow space, I would not recommend surgery which you mention you "really don't want a blepharoplasty". It is not related to weight loss or weight gain, but occurs over time based on your family traits. I would recommend an excellent upper lid cream called D-E-J that can help your upper lids without surgery. Our office can send you the cream. After 2-3 months, if you continue to have a small fold, Ultrasonic tightening can be performed to tighten your eye shadow skin and lift the brow to make the fold go away. Good Luck, Mark Codner, MD Atlanta
In order to remove the ideal amount of upper lid skin, fine measurements are taken before and during surgery with a caliper so that 8-10 mm can be preserved above the lashes at the highest part of the eyeshadow space. The upper incision is measured from the lower part of the brow and ranges from 10 - 15 mm. This ensures that enough skin is removed and equal amounts of skin, especially in patients that have more skin on one side. 1.McCord, CD and MA Codner. Eyelid Surgery: Principles and Techniques. Dear Cheonsadiana, The groove on your cheek is a malar groove and the trough under the inner corner of your eye is a tear trough. Transconjunctival fat removal will not improve the malar groove. Either filler or surgery to release the deep ligaments causing this groove will permanently improve both or filler can help for a year or so. The surgery can be performed transconjunctivally but need to do more that just remove fat which will make both worse.Sincerely, Mark Codner, MD stacey@markcodnermd.com
