Amazing results - the shape, nipple size and placement are so spot on

Dr. Deutsch did such an amazing job with my breast reduction and abdominoplasty. After 4 children, I was Size E/F and am now a full C. Removed Right 500 cc and Left 600cc with the inverted T (anchor). The breast shape, nipple size and placement are so spot on!! I am extremely happy with the results, and I came back to finish the mommy makeover with a hip lift and lipo on the flanks. Dr...

Truly empowering to have myself back - never felt so good

I had lost 35 pounds, which had flattened my breast tissue out. I went for a consultation where he suggested that maybe just an implant behind my tissue would be sufficient. From beginning to end the whole process was seamless and everyone was so kind. After the procedure, once they settled they were BEAUTIFUL! I don’t think my current boyfriend has a clue they’ve been done. They’re even bette...

It was my first surgery and I was very impressed with the results. I will be planning to go back and get my breast done. I really didn’t take pictures but I hope these photos help. Also him and his team was great. Very respectful and caring. I would refer him to anyone

Thrilled with my results and could not be happier

I would recommend Dr. Deutsch to anyone hands down! I am thrilled with my results and could not be happier with the entire process. He is an excellent plastic surgeon and called to check on me after the surgery (over the weekend!) which is more than I can say for other doctors. As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Deutsch

Wonderful experience with Dr. Deutsch. He has a great bedside manner and perfect skills as a plastic surgeon. I will definitely go back to him in the future for more surgeries. He did a tummy tuck with some liposuction and my tummy has never been flatter. And I was blown away by the recovery - he did a block and after the first week I virtually had no pain! It was amazing.

200 Q&A

Q: Would I be able to have a subglandular augmentation? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. DeutschApril 9, 2020

A: Thank you for sending your question and picture, you do appear to have enough breast tissue to "hide" an implant placed above the muscle. Keep in mind that your chances of implant visibility and/or capsular contracture may be increased with this approach but you also will avoid the "animation deformity" caused by placing the implant under the muscle. Best to discuss in detail with your plastic surgeon, good luck!

Q: What can help fix up a botched gynecomastia surgery from 8 years ago? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. DeutschJune 24, 2019

A: You do appear to be a good candidate for a breast revision. The procedure could involve scar revision with possible fat transfer and Kenalog injection if your scar is wide and thick. It is best that you meet with a plastic surgeon in your area who can meet with you and develop a treatment plan with you.

Q: Breast lift and augmentation in 2 stages or one procedure? (photo)
Answered by Dr. DeutschMay 26, 2019

A: Thank you for your question and pictures and congratulations on your weight loss. I would be concerned with inserting such a large (600cc) implant and performing a lift at the same time. I feel you are at lower risk for wound healing problems and "bottoming out" if you have this done in two stages. Make sure that the surgeons you are seeing are proficient in performing cosmetic breast surgery on patients who have had massive weight loss and you are comfortable with their plan. Good luck with your surgery!

Q: 5 weeks post abdominoplasty and concerned about uneven flanks. Could I have a seroma and not show signs? (photos)
Answered by Dr. DeutschMay 26, 2019

A: I see the area on your pictures that you are concerned about. A physical exam would be beneficial to help determine if this is a seroma vs. postop swelling vs. residual fatty tissue. I would advise that you check in with your plastic surgeon who can examine you and help with management. It is still early in the postop period so continued massage and compression garments is always a good recommendation.

Q: 1 week post Lipo and TT. When I woke up today it was moving like water waves around my incision. Is this normal?
Answered by Dr. DeutschJanuary 5, 2019

A: Thank you for your question. It sounds like you may have a seroma. Assuming the drain output was low enough at the time the drain was removed, it is possible to still develop a seroma after surgery. It is always best to have the surgeon who performed the surgery to evaluate you with any postop problems but this can be difficult for patients who have surgery out of the country.
