My eyelids were so droopy and my bags under my eyes so prominent that when I looked in the mirror I looked tired. Then my mind would tell me I'm tired. It was work to keep them open. The surgery was wildly successful, and I feel like a completely different person. I never had any pain and only took over the counter meds the day of surgery, then nothing required after.
