I had a tummy tuck 6 weeks ago today and my results are amazing!

I had a tummy tuck 6 weeks ago today and my results are amazing! Dr. Kendall Peters is so precise! His bedside manner is outstanding! My scar is super low and my belly button is perfect! I followed all pre and post op instructions and my results are phenomenal! I didn’t have any pain after the procedure-just uncomfortable getting used to the binder. I was on pain meds for 24 hours after the procedure and then Tylenol occasionally- probably 2 days max and those two days was when I was having the drains removed( I wasn’t sure what it was going to feel like so I was being proactive. Jeannie is awesome! She’s answered everyone of my calls and emails leading up and after! She is so patient. All of the women are delightful! Updated on 24 Aug 2020: Here is a picture of my scar 6weeks post op-there is half of a tattoo under a portion of the scar-majority of it was removed during the surgery(Thank God !) The scar sits super low- under my panty line and under swimsuit line

Dr Peters is very professional and caring. I’m 10 days post op at the moment and any questions I’ve had they’ve been able to answer for me. First few days were pretty rough post surgery but each day has got better and better. Looking forward to seeing my final results.

Im So Ready! - Orlando, FL

Im 43, mother of 2, and extremely tired of these two huge things that hang from my chest. Currently I wear a 38 DDD, I'm 5'4, 180 pounds. I have appointment with Dr. Kendall Peters on Feb 22, and I cannot describe how excited I am! Obsessively going through every review and pic than I can. My only concern is about the insurance, which I hope approves my BS. I do not have a record of back pain treatment, not that I don't suffer from it, I just learned to live with it. Anyone that got it approved without a heavy record? Updated on 4 Feb 2018: I finally had the courage of taking a picture of these two. Can't wait to get rid of them! Updated on 22 Feb 2018: I've been waiting almost 7 month for this appointment and I am very excited as it's a step closer. Hopefully I feel comfortable with the Dr! I'll update soon after meeting Dr :) Updated on 22 Feb 2018: So I finally had my appointment today. Dr Peters was very nice, explained the process very detailed. I am definitely a good candidate for BR. Said would remove 500-650 grams from right breast and around 350-400 from the left. I was hoping to hear he was sure insurance would cover, but his answer was that's he's at the fence, guess because I don't have a record of neck/back problems. Insurance should take 2-6 weeks to respond. So the waiting game has begun! Updated on 6 Mar 2018: Got a call today from my PS office and IM APPROVED!!°°I don't think there's enough words to describe how excited I am. The date has been set, 03/28/18. Yay!!! Updated on 19 Mar 2018: Excitement is a understatement... I'm obsessed about my surgery, I think about it night and day... 8 days to go! I've bought two zip up bras from Target, one Large the other x large. Any suggestions of what would come in handy for recovery? Updated on 26 Mar 2018: Had my pre op today. Im not getting external stiches, probably will not get drains and can shower after 48 hours... this is all good news! If heard stiches and drains bother a bit and also have read of others not being allowed to shower for a week or more,so I'm excited it's only 48 hours. I will be out of work for 2 weeks on short term disability. Hopefully will have a nice recovery! Updated on 28 Mar 2018: Surgery was yesterday morning... I was rolled into O.R. around 7:45 a.m, prior to that the anesthesiologist have put the happy juice in my iv so don't remember much other than they were strapping my legs and I asked about the music playing, someone answered it's Dr. Peters music and next thing I know a nurse was telling me I was in recovery room. Waking up from anesthesia was awful, the feeling of wanting to wake up but can't I did not like at all. I wasn't in pain and had no nausea, thank God. Got home around 12:30pm, I had left a area ready with pillows and a little table with the essentials In thought In would need. My throat was the worst part, it felt awful for hours and caused me to cough allot which put me in allot of pain. I didn't want to take the pain narcotic afraid that it would make me feel like I felt waking up from anesthia. Around 6pm I couldn't take it anymore had a little soup(had no appetite) and took the narcotic which was very helpful. I sleep on my side so being on my back has not let me sleep more than 2 strait hours. The doughnut travelling pillow has been very comfy. Today in not coughing anymore and in scale of 1-10 I would say I'm at 2.. yay!! I haven't been able to see my new girls yet but surgeon assured my bf that I will be very happy. Tomorrow I can finally shower and see for myself :) Updated on 3 Apr 2018: I've been feeling really good! Stopped taking Percocet on day 4, I was using it during the night in hopes of sleeping better. But realize I actually slept better without it. Have not taken pain medicines at all in the last 2 days, swelling has decreased significantly. I feel I only have real swelling left in bra roll, which is the area I had liposuction. I haven't had boobs this small since I was around 13! I think I'm a b cup, I was wanting more of a c cup but insurance had a requirement. Not complaining! I actually like my small perky boobs. I do get tired very easily, but overall it's been great!

Breast Reduction// Insurance approved

Dr. Peter's and his staff are amazing! When I had my first consultation I knew I picked the right doctor. Dr. Peter's was honest and straight to the point. I was very nervous and not sure what to expect or even an approval from my insurance. Am glad that Dr. Peter's and his staff was familiar with working with insurance. I got my approval in no time. I was a 36DDD and I think am "B/ C". I LOVE my new boobs!!!!

Very satisfied patient!

I got a bilateral upper blepharoplasty with Ptosis repair on the right side and he did an AMAZING job! I'm only a week out from surgery and can already see a huge difference. The only, and I'm reaching here, "complaint" I would have if you could even call it a complaint , was they didn't go into too much detail of the healing process (I thought once sutures were out in a week, everything would be healed, but its actually about 4 weeks of healing time)but really no big deal. I highly recommend this surgeon and the team he works with.... They're wonderful

34DDD down to B/C my BR journey 49yo 1 child - Orlando, FL

So after 5 years of consideration I finally decided to explore BR surgery. My stats are 5'0 145lbs size 34DDD. Like some I started out avaverag C cup then ballooned after the birth of my daughter. After talking with my mom who had the procedure I scheduled a consultation and sent off insurance papers to UHC. Everything went off without a hitch unlike my first consultation which was nightmarish. I had my procedure yesterday, everything went well. Surgery lasted @ 2. 5 hours. The anesthesiologist was awesome he gave me meds to prevent nausea and used gas and IV sedation which I think is the reason why my recovery went so well. No sickness at all a d felt normal by late evening. I woke up from surgery with a little pain mostly pressure, on a scale of 1-10 I was a 3. I left the surgical center fairly quickly because the nurse said I was coherent and doing well. Car ride home not bad, I had a pillow, honey cough drops and a barf bag for the ride. I made sure to eat broth, crackers and ginger ale to continue keeping any nausea at bay. My first night sleep was fair, woke up when meds were wearing off so did not sleep through the night. I used lots of pillows including a boomarang pillow I got on Amazon. I did get enough sleep to feel decent so no complaints. I originally took 1 Percocet but it only took the edge off so I upped it to 1.5 which is perfect. Hoping to wean off of pills in the next week. Dr Peters used inside stitches and steri strips outside, and drains! I was excited not to have those extra worries and I am looking forward to my first bath on Sunday. I can't say enough about how happy I am to have followed through with the BR even after so many setbacks which almost made me give up. Praying that I will continue to have a good recovery. *Upload not working properly I will try later to upload pics. Updated on 18 Dec 2016: Two days post op, my pain level is about 3. I only took 1 Percocet over night so I am going to try alternating with Tylenol today. I think I may be ready. I am using Arnica gel which seems to be helping with inflammation. Starting to slowly introduce solid food into my diet. I am so happy with the kind of anesthesia I received I really believe it is why I did not experience post surgery sickness I am posting some after pics, i could not locate before pics. Still really swollen hoping for B,/C when all is said and done.. Updated on 20 Dec 2016: So since my last post I no longer need any pain meds (took them for 24hrs), the only pain I have are occasional zingers. I have sensation in left nipple hoping right will come in soon. I did start to feel some itching and tingling on the left today so that is a good sign. I have mastered taking a shower using 2 different washcloths and towels for upper and lower body. As suggested by many members here I continue to use antibacterial soap and Hibiclens during showers. I blow dry Steri Strips then apply Arnicare gel. My PS said that people swear by it and I am one of those. Within 24hrs of using it 3x daily I went from rock hard to soft breast. I have to stop myself from moving around just because I want to heal properly, it's so hard because I feel great. I did take a couple of short drives to store and gas station with no issues. Plan to do a little shopping to wrap up Christmas this week. I plan to upload new pics after Steri Strips are removed at my next post op appointment on the 27th. I am so grateful for all the members of RS, I would never have had the courage to follow through had it not been for the support of the members on this board. It took me 5 years to get the courage to go through with the BR now I wonder why I waited so long! Thank you all so very much for sharing your journey! Updated on 22 Dec 2016: Well so far, so good. Recovery going well, I noticed some soreness at the end of the day after moving around, not enough for pain meds so I use Arnica which seems to help. So glad I can move around I was concerned @ being miserable for the holidays. Two things I am watching, so far, I only have sensation in left nipple hopefully the right will have some soon. Anyone not have sensation then get it later? Second thing is the box shape of my breast, how long does it take for tthem to shape up? I am very happy that I did this. I must admit I had a lot of anxiety about the procedure. Not to mention a few health concerns. Surgery is a big deal and can be scary. The best thing to help you through this is a PS and staff that make you feel at ease, for me that was the difference. My PS's confidence in me made me feel encouraged to go through with the procedure. It is important to have someone to listen to your concerns and address them in a way that gives you peace of mind. Trust your intuition, I decided at the last minute to go with a different PS because the first one was not right for me. I had to start the process over again but sitting here now it was worth it! Prepare yourself, I spent my time before surgery stepping up my health game. I ate a high protein low carbohydrate diet including greek yougurt, hard boiled eggs, salads, fish and whey protein. I exercised 3x a week with a HIIT program called Orange Theory. I loaded up daily on water+coconut water mix. I really believe that prep for surgery starts with good health and a strong body. Lastly this board is a blessing, it is a beautiful thing to experience this journey with others who understand. So be brave, you can do this, the results are worth it. Updated on 24 Dec 2016: So..... my first post op appointment is this Friday, but I wanted to post updated pics since some of the swelling has subsided. Looking forward to the final shape in the coming monthss once they settle I have started to get some zingers in righty but not as much as lefty. Hope this means I am getting sensation in right nipple. I can sleep on sides with a lot of pillows support which helps a lot. I will post updated pics without steri strips after appointment. Wishing everyone Happy Holidays!

Breast Lift with Existing Saline Implants - LOVE!!! - Orlando, FL

I had a breast aug and lift when i was 18. Over time, the lift failed and the implants began to sag and stretch out my breasts. I had saggy, scar filled, uneven breasts 7 years post op. They were gross. Now I am 25 and I finally decided to fix it, I began my hunt for a doctor about 3 months ago. I saw a few different doctors but chose Dr. Peters. He was kind and knowledgable and has a great rep. He told me I could get a really good lift and use my existing implants since they were still in good condition. Inhad the surgery July 8 and I LOVE the results! He completely reshaped my boobs and I feel more confident than ever. I really hope this lift lasts until I have kids (years away). But I am so happy with the results!!! The pain wasn't too bad but the anesthesia made me so sick for a few days. My back hurt the most because I was hunched over, my chest was very tight. But totally worth the whole process!

Medically Competent Chauvinist

I had a breast reduction with Dr. Peters in 2018. The good. Staff was friendly and helpful. From a medical perspective, the surgery was performed well. He was competent. There were no complications afterward and everything healed well. The bad. Looking back on this experience, I wanted the "best" doctor I could find. I'd had consults with other doctors before him who did not instill confidence in their ability. It was for this reason, I felt pressured to give in to his expectations. I was a DDD. I had pain so bad in my chest and back that I ended up at my primary care physicians office worried that I had a heart problem. That's when they told me they think I had pulled tissue in my rib cage due to the weight of my breasts. I'd had enough pain. I decided to pay out of pocket instead of continuing to fight my insurance and went to Dr. Peters. I explained this to Dr. Peters. I explained I wanted my breasts AS SMALL AS POSSIBLE. I wanted A's. That's what I WANTED for my body. He chuckled and said that wasn't necessary. I pushed again, at multiple follow ups. He continued to brush me off. I wanted the smallest size possible. Finally, he explained to me the smallest he was WILLING to go was a C. Because aesthetically, it fit best. At my follow up, he referred to my breasts as perky, but never asked if he improved my back pain, which was the reason I had it done. I'm shaking with anger writing this. Realizing I allowed this to happen because I was so desperate to be rid of the pain. Make no mistake, HE CARES MORE ABOUT WHAT YOUR BREASTS LOOK LIKE IN HIS CATALOG THAN YOUR BODILY AUTONOMY. 2 years later and I WISH I would have found another doctor who would have done the surgery the way I wanted it.

$16,000Mommy Makeover

Not as good as the senior

Had a mommy make over 2 yrs ago and it's been rough since the beginning. My breasts were black & blue, lots of swelling, and lots of fluid build up left on the tummy; which eventually absorbed. I personally was not happy with my boobs. He also reduced my areolas without consent. I have not recommended him to anyone. His staff is great, very pleasant, sweat ladies. They're always available, which is more than I can say for him.
