Post-Pregnancy Procedures
Motherhood can be one of life’s most meaningful experiences, but pregnancy and childbirth often come with frustrating physical changes such as weight gain, stretched abdominal muscles, excess skin, saggy breasts, and other issues that can be impossible to reverse with diet and exercise alone.
A mommy makeover can restore your body to its pre-pregnancy state (or better) with a customized combination of procedures, to address your needs and desires. A breast augmentation can restore lost volume, while a mastopexy (breast lift) results in perkier breasts. I often combine one or both of these procedures with a tummy tuck, to repair the abdominal muscles and create a tauter, more toned look. Some patients also opt for liposuction, to remove stubborn areas of fat. Every patient is different, and I tailor each mommy makeover accordingly.
Breast Surgery
I specialize in a variety of breast enhancement procedures, including breast augmentation, mastopexy (breast lift), and breast reduction. Breast augmentation, the most popular choice among my Central Florida patients, creates fuller, more shapely breasts. While most patients choose silicone breast implants, those looking for a more modest increase in their breast size may want to consider fat transfer breast augmentation, in which the patient’s excess body fat is harvested from other areas via liposuction, purified, and skillfully injected it into the breasts. Patients who are concerned by sagging breasts may choose a mastopexy, or breast lift, with or without augmentation.
Women with large breasts who are experiencing back pain or ill-fitting clothing may want to undergo breast reduction surgery. I also perform gynecomastia surgery, or male breast reduction. I look forward to discussing your breast enhancement goals during your consultation at Ocala Plastic Surgery.
Face and Neck Lifts
Life experience is a gift, but the wrinkles and drooping that come with age can be less welcome. Nonsurgical facial rejuvenation treatments such as Botox, skin resurfacing, and dermal fillers can help to address these changes, but those who are looking for a more drastic improvement may want to consider a facelift at my practice in Central Florida.
While facelifts of the past tightened only the skin, modern techniques also lift and tighten the underlying muscle layer. The skin is redraped and smoothed, and excess tissue is removed. This creates a more long-lasting, naturally youthful looking result. I often recommend combining a facelift with a neck lift, brow lift, or skin resurfacing, to help take the years off.
