Dr. Maloney is outstanding in every way. I went in for a consultation and chose Dr. Maloney and his surgical staff for a rhinoplasty and chin implant. I am impressed with the time he takes to assure you of his suggestions, and I trust him completely since he has the eye and hands to do what he says he can accomplish. Within a week after surgery, I must say I am delighted with the natural looking results. I am breathing much better, and I experienced little discomfort and a quicker recovery than anticipated. I highly recommend Dr. Maloney since he is an excellent cosmetic surgeon and wonderful care physician.

After having my face destroyed by Celebration Cosmetics in Orlando ... I didn't want to live or couldn't model anymore! Dr. Richard Maloney was the only Dr. I found to understand and take my case! Dr Richard Maloney out of everybody in the country has d latest technique not only to lift the face but to reconstruct and give a fresh look a parent no old timey scars like before... You have to understand that I consider this man a saint because he had to take my totally destroyed face from another doctor and start from the bottom up again... He was the 12th doctor that I interviewed in the country the most expensive... And definitely the best!
Dr Maloney is both a skill surgeon and a man of high integrity. I had several different procedures done including a mid face lift. When at first the results of my eyebrow lift were not as effective as we were expecting, he chose to go the extra mile to create the best possible outcome. He also took the time to make sure I understood and was comfortable with the process. I am very grateful, and happily recommend him.
Excellent Experience - Naples, FL
I searched for almost a year for just the right doctor, attended seminars, saw several well known and highly recommended plastic surgeons. I chose a doctor who only does faces as he gets to work only on his patients face. I had a full endoscopy face lift, eyelids, neck surgery and laser on a few spots ( under my eyes and forhead). Took 8 hours and full anesthesia. He took lots lof before pictures, showed me a computer image of what I should look like when he is done and gave me a whole, series of vitamins and pills, creams to start taking 2 weeks prior to surgery. This would decrease swelling, infections and blood flow, He saw me everyday for the first week at his office and next 2 weeks, 3 times a week. My experieince was a good one and although I had pain for a few days, swelling for 2 months, it was worth it and I got the results I had hoped for.
Dr Maloney should have retired before he agreed to do my surgery. Things didn't turn out great and his excuse was back(pain) and i have thick skin. When asked to fix he said he couldn't because of his back and was retiring, but would have one of his associate fix it. ha never heard from he again. When i called he was no longer there (retired)!
I wanted to take about 10 years from my appearance. Updated on 15 Jan 2011: Research well before allowing any Dr.to perform surgery on your face.
The bottom line is "it all depends"Generally speaking if the patient's decision is to separate the two procedures I prefer to recommend treating the aging face first (face lift) and then set the rhinoplasty goal to the post op facial proportion and result. If the patient wishes to combine the two under most circumstances (excepting revision procedures) I can do so.Best wishes,Richard Maloney MD FACS
I agree that this is generally unusual 5 weeks following surgery. There may be good reasons for this depending on what you had preoperatively and what was found and performed during surgery. I would make a follow up appointment with your surgeon and review your concerns. I would expect he/she is just as concerned as you are and interested in your happiness. My rule of thumb after 30 yrs of Rhinoplasty is that if it is crooked at 10 days further improvement is unlikely.Best wishesR W Maloney, MD FACSNaples Fl
Kamaira: I too would recommend that you approach this conservatively. My suggestion would be to first try Botox™ and an indictable filler like Juvederm™. The Juvederm™ will fill the tear trough and if you like it, later your can consider Fat transfer. If you do not like it it will go away or it can be reversedBest wishes,Richard Maloney, MDNaples FL
Give it more time about 7-10 days after the injection and see the person who did the injection for evaluation. If this was the first time you have had it there you may just need a minor adjustment with some additional Botox™.This should be an easy fix.All the best to you,Richard Maloney, MDNaples FL
Dorothy: Without a thorough examination, it appears that the optimal cosmetic result would be with an Endoscopic Brow/Forehead lift and a conservative upper lid skin excision combined with laser resurfacing on the upper and lower lid skin. Properly performed the Endoscopic procedure will improve the entire area around the eye and reduce the forehead furrows caused by over activity of the muscles trying to keep the eye open.Down time should be only days.Best wishes,Richard W Maloney, MDNaples FL
