Eyelid Enhancement
I specialize in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic treatments of the eyelid and face. One of the most popular procedures I perform is blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), a procedure that enhances the appearance of the upper and lower eyelids. As you age, your eyelids stretch and the muscles in your face begin to weaken. This may cause your skin to droop and excess fat to gather below your eyes, making you look older and reducing your peripheral vision. Blepharoplasty removes any excess skin, muscle, or fat to make you appear younger and reduce vision problems.

Dr. Andrea Lora Kossler, MD, FACS is a board-certified oculoplastic surgeon with 11 years of experience. As the Director of the Ophthalmic Plastic, Reconstructive Surgery, and Orbital Oncology Service at the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford in Palo Alto, California, she specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the forehead, mid-face, and eyes and performs procedures such as eyelid lift (blepharoplasty), ptosis surgery, fat grafting, forehead lifts, and eyelid retraction repair. She is also the Director of the Stanford Aesthetic Eye Surgery Center and an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kossler received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida and a residency in ophthalmology at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
