I haven't had my surgery yet but consultation with Dr. Brill was awesome. He really went over what the procedure would entail and he gave me other recommendations of what he felt would be best for me. He is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I can't wait to finally be able to get my funds for my breast augmentation and lift. His staff is also very friendly and welcoming. An overall lovely experience.
Dr. Brill and his staff are simply amazing and I highly recommended them! I had several consultations with other doctors who felt I needed to lose more weight before my abdomonialplasty but , Dr. Brill reassured me the surgery would encourage Weightloss. He did a phenomenal job and closed his office for my surgical procedure. He took his time in order to get the best results. I’m a firm believer in God and upon arrival for my tummy tuck his nurse said she’d been praying in advance for complete success and recovery. I knew then this was the Dr. for me! Great job Dr. Brill and staff!!! Please come to Dr. Brill for all of your plastic surgery needs you will not regret it!~
I went to Dr. Brill due to a breast deformity. I've always been very self conscious about the way I look and it was been hard on me. Once I arrived and Dr. Brill came in, I immediately knew he was the one to help me. He is very brilliant and also has the best bedside manners! Many surgeons wouldn't laugh and be social like he is. I had several consultations locally before making my decision to undergo surgery. Dr. Brill spent a great deal of time with me by listening to my concerns and answering questions . He didn't rush me around like the others locally! His staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm loving my results and excited about future services.
I always wanted larger breast so last year in September I begin my research and I came upon Dr. Brill whom was highly recommened by the medical community. I recently had my procedure done. He and his staff answered any and all questions that i came up with and they took really good care of me. I would like to think him anf his staff for all they done for me and I recommend him highly to anyone thinking of having pocedures done.
Dr. Brill is awesome!! He is truly an artist with his work. He is very detailed oriented and answers all questions. He was patient and professional in helping me to make excellent plastic surgery decisions that would fit my body. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I absolutely love my breast and tummy tuck. I have gained confidence and I love my look! His office staff is most excellent!! Very friendly and makes you feel comfortable and welcome. I will never use another plastic surgeon....only Dr. Brill. He truly has a natural gift and talent for his work.
The bags under my eyes really started to bother me in my late 40s; they became impossible to hide with makeup. I do a lot of public speaking in my job and was just getting really uncomfortable with how I looked. My eyes were also aging at differnet rates and were noticably different sizes due to sagging upper lids. My doc suggested both lower and upper blepharoplasty with specific attention to my right eye to make it match the left a little better. I was also due for a renewal of Juvederm in my marionnette lines and asked the doc to address the pucker lines around my upper lip. He suggested boosting the upper lip a bit; I took a lot of convincing because my husband HATES the trout pout look, and in the weeks leading up to surgery that's what I was most concerned about. The staff gave me Vitamin K cream to use for two weeks before surgery to reduce bruising. On the day of surgery my husband dropped me off at 8:30 a.m. and they called him to pick me up around 2 p.m. They gave me Ambien and a scopalomine patch to reduce nausea and wheeled me in to surgery; I remember the doctor drawing on my eyelids with a marker and that's about it until they were waking me up. It wasn't full anesthesia; it was sedation like when you get a colonoscopy, which was good enough for me. Maybe I was awake but I sure don't remember it. Apparently I was pretty hilarious on the way home. I never experienced any pain at any point during surgery or recovery...discomfort, sure, but I never needed the pain meds. I took a half of one each night just to make sleeping upright easier, but nothing ever hurt. The worst part was trying to get my eyes open every morning (swollen and very sticky). I had the surgery the day before Thanksgiving, so instead of an office-visit follow up, the doc called me on Thanksgiving and told me to come in Monday (Day 5) to have the stitches out. That made Days 2-4 kind of scary...is it supposed to be that red? Is it infected? Am I messing with it too much? Do I have a fever? I'm going to post some healing photos because that's what I found most helpful and reassuring during this phase -- being able to look at other people's healing process. Hope the photos don't gross anybody out. As soon as the stitches came out, the healing process accelerated. (P.A. took them out; didn't see the doc again until Day 14.)I was able to go out in public with minimal explanation to clients (and big sunglasses) starting on Day 6. Today is Day 15; the doc cleared me for makeup and working out yesterday. I could not be more delighted with the results, and they get better every day. My left eyelid is more swollen than the right, but evening out more each day. The doc did a great job evening out the size of my eyes and opening them up. I'm very happy with the subtle change to my upper lip. And the horrible bags? Gone, baby, gone.
The only way to get rid of the tummy fat was to starve myself or get it removed. Well starving wasn't good for the rest of me so I had the fat on my stomach and hips removed. Painful - yes... I had it done in conjunction with my breast lift so both top and bottom was sore. The lipo to me was worse than the breast lift. I bruised and just sitting on the commode was a challenge. Get yourself in shape before with leg squats so that you can squat over the commode for a few days. Healing well though and the results are amazing. A totally flat tummy and the hourglass shape without the fat on the hips - so no more muffin top in the hip hugging jeans. I love it. Would do it again but not too soon -
I had a breast lift with augmentation at the age of 43. I am pleased with the results. The worst part of it is the first 24-48 hrs after surgery. Getting the sutures out is uncomfortable but not bad. I had stopped taking the pain meds after about 5 days. And have resumed riding after 2 wks per my doctor's approval. Would I do it again? - yeah - I would. For years I was dissatisfied with the size of my breasts and the fact that they had sagged even though there was not much there to start with. I was fortunate enough to be able to only have a scar around my aerole and with time it will not be noticable. Take the time to research your surgeon - wear a water filled bra for a month even to bed to get used to the extra weight and how your back will feel. After all the water bra can be taken off - the implants are a little harder to get rid of if you determine that they are not to your liking. BE informed and educated - ask questions - this is your body after all. Updated on 14 May 2009: Well it's two months post augmentation and lift. Have to admit it took a while to get used to the "new me" but am very pleased with the results. I did not go up a cup size but stayed a B but a full B and the difference in how I feel and look in clothes is well worth the cost and discomfort of the first few weeks. I have returned to all my normal activities. I am still figuring out which bras work best with the fuller shape and so far it's been fun to be able to shop for ones without all the padding that I used to have to get to give the appearance of cleavage. I would recommend the surgery - just make sure that you're ready for the down time to let yourself heal fully. Still loving the new look and so is the boyfriend. They may say that more than a mouthful is enough - but trust me ladies they are visual creatures and the new visual is getting a lot of attention.
to not look tired.
I'm so looking forward to this surgery. I'm tired of wearing clothes that will hide my tummy flap. I haven't tucked a shirt in my pants for years. It's really life altering. I was scheduled last year but ended up in the ER and had to have a hysterectomy. So the TT was cancelled. So now I'll also be able to get rid of those scars!
It is very rare for an allergy to Botox or botulism toxin. It is purified with no additives which to have a reaction. If you have a lot of allergies a test can be performed. Please know that an allergy is a hyperimmune response and people become allergic to substances which they have been exposed to many times and then become allergic. I have been using Botox since it was first available for medical use and have never had anyone have an allergic reaction nor tested for one in advance. Roger T. Brill, MD, FACS
