Yes, you can get this tattoo removed with laser treatments. Just a few thoughts though as you proceed. You have multiple colors which takes longer than just black. You need to go to someone with the right laser that has all the right wavelengths to remove each color you have. The easiest to remove is black, then the reds and yellows, then the greens and blues in order of increasing difficulty. You should wait about a month in between treatments, so it will take a while. I would think maybe 8 treatments if all goes well. Make an appointment with a Doctor who has experience removing tattoos with laser treatmetments. Wishing you good luck.

This was a cover up of a smaller lighter tattoo. I should have gone with a removal in the 1st place. Started going in for sessions on a floral sleeve that I had put an obnoxious amount of detail in planning only for it to turn out like this which I feel is sloppy, busy, &amp; doesn't flow well on my arm or as a coverup because you can still completely see the original tattoo. Is there hope for me to lighten something like this enough for something pretty? What;s the best laser for complete removal?

Hello, thanks for your question. Your tattoo looks pretty new, so first, I&nbsp;would wait until it is completely healed which might take 4 or more weeks. Once it is healed up, I&nbsp;would go get an in person consultation with a Doctor who specializes in laser tattoo removal. It is impossible to tell you an exact amount of treatments or if it will scar as this depends on so many factors including depth and amount of ink, type of ink, type of laser, what skin type you have, how good your body's immune system is, how much sun you get typically, and the skill of the laser operator. It will probably take at least 6 treatments each one a month later than the previous one, so it is definitely a process that you have to stick with, but it is definitely possible. Good luck to you!

I really regret my tattoo on my neck. Very regret it. And want to remove it completely. I had another 2 tattoos on arm and hand.. but its okay as i can wear long sleeve when i want to hide it. Did is possible to remove tattoo on neck completely? And its save? Without left any scars? And how many treatment I should do? With the right laser, it should only take around 4 treatments as your tattoos look pretty light. I would get a consultation with a laser tattoo removal Doctor in person. Hope that helps!

So I have two "stick and poke" tattoos on the inside of my ring and middle finger on my left hand. Tomorrow I will be going to see someone about having them removed using the Nd:YAG laser. The tattoos are already faded as they are approximately a year old, I used a bottle of Indian ink from Walmart, and am clearly not very skilled in the art of tattooing. I was curious if anyone could give me some insight as to how long this might take and how many sessions I should expect.

You should wait until your new tattoo is completely healed, then begin the tattoo removal process. it will take at least 4 treatments, one month apart, but it definitely can be done.

I feel like throwing up I'm having anxiety attacks. I went in to get a cover up of some stars I got a couple years back and ugh I liked this design on paper but its so big and I'm so small it doesn't go with me. Honestly I prefer this than the memories haunting me of the stars but the stars were much smaller and easier to hide. Is this possible to get removed?&nbsp;I feel like crying please helppp

It will probably take at least 6 treatments to remove your tattoo, but it depends on a lot of different factors. If you can post some pictures, it would be easier to answer your question. Prices vary by region and skill of the tattoo removal laser operator. It might range from $150 a treatment on up.

How much to remove a 4"x2" tattoo with mostly blue ink, some red ink?

It is definitely possible to remove your red ink tattoo. How long it takes depends on several factors including: amateur vs professionally done, the type of ink used, the depth the ink was placed, the age of the tattoo, and your skin type. The darker your skin type, the safer the laser settings have to be set, so it will take more sessions. Typically,&nbsp;starting at lower settings and working&nbsp;up to a&nbsp;higher settings as the tattoo fades. It is best to wait at least a month in between treatments as this will allow your body to remove the particles of shattered ink that the laser produces in the removal process. Red ink is a bit harder to remove than just black ink, and we use a 532 nm&nbsp;wavelength laser that is specific for red ink. Other wavelengths wont work as well. As for whether you should use a nanosecond or picosecond laser (the quickness the pulse is delivered), some&nbsp;say there is conflicting research on which one is better. There are pros and cons for each one. There have been reports of tissue damage using picosecond lasers as the energy is delivered much, much quicker. Either way,&nbsp;definitely do your homework and go to someone who is experienced with tattoo removal so they can help you through the process, as it will take at least 6 treatments for yours to fade.
