44 yrs old + two C-sections. Going under cosmetic surgery can be intimidating. Thinking about the pain of surgery, the recuperation process, and then, worrying about if the results were as you expected could be a nerve-wracking experience. This is part of the reason why I put my trust in Dr. Katherine Feliz and her staff in the Dominican Republic. I had a wonderful and positive connection from my very first consultation to waking up after the operation and all the aftercare afterward. Dr. Feliz (felizhappy) talked me through the procedure what it would involve, and the type of outcome she would be able to reach through my Breast Lift and Tummy Tuck operation. Dr. Feliz is a professional, knowledgeable and highly skilled doctor who is friendly and sensitive to patients' needs. She explained to me everything meticulously how the surgery works and gave me all the instructions to follow after surgery. I recommend listening carefully to the instructions, since the more you follow them, the fewer complications you will have. I believe that Dr. Feliz is the easiest and most understanding surgeon. She always made me feel very comfortable and at ease. There is no pressure to do anything you’re not comfortable with. I was amazed by the support, kindness and the excellent caring nature the CECIP staff have shown me. From the receptionist, nurses, anesthesiologists, massagists, all the way up to Dr. Feliz. Their professionalism and expertise are faultless. Also, I have to say that the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo) is a safe and beautiful country. Of course, you must take care of some precautions as you do when visiting any other country, respect the law and pay attention to details. For example, getting hydrated with purified water since tap water is not trustable and taking trustable taxis. Uber to mention one. You must be in Santo Domingo at least 6 days before the surgery to schedule your surgery five days after your arrival to prevent future complications such as a blood clot. I recommend bringing loose clothes, comfortable shoes, plenty of t-shirts and wire-free removable pad bras. Although the body shaper is included to wear it on the first day of post-op, I suggest bringing at least one more, since you will wear it 24/7. Equally important is bringing perineal wash since you might not be taken a shower for a while. You can have a sponge bath though. I advise being free of negative thoughts and enjoy your journey. Dominican people are easy-going, funny and happy. Take advantage of such an amazing place! Eat healthily! I enjoyed eating all kinds of Dominican food! Regarding CECIP, it is located across the presidential palace, clean and well decorated. The parking lot is a pain though. No problem if you do not need to park or just to drop off. I have to confess that I don’t usually write reviews, but I can’t recommend Dr. Feliz and CECIP in the Dominican Republic enough to anyone thinking of having any surgery. I am very glad, I feel Feliz-sisima (super happy with Dr. Feliz) I did go through with the procedure and the experience. I have only five weeks of post-op and the results could not have been more satisfactory. Lastly, if you are looking for natural results with minimal scarring and maximum care, then this is the right place and right surgeon for you. I wouldn’t hesitate about coming back for a BBL! Thank you all. Updated on 21 Sep 2019: Hello everyone Here are my pictures ten weeks after my TT and BL. I was able to return to work and do my regular activities( as a busy-crazy mom of two!). As you notice my stomach is still swollen. My only concern is the scar but it seems to be healing quite well. I tried using those silicone scar healing tapes, but honestly dont think it works. I cant wait to start working out and get my tummy completely flat again.

I’ve lost some weight and need to have my problem area fixed. I’m uncomfortable to show my belly I have to wear granny Panties to hold my tummy in. My butt has been flat all my life it hurts to sit. It feels like I’m sitting on my tailbone

I had an awesome experience with her I love the fact that she's more for your health than the money.. and that's a plus in my book she tries to give you what you want but in a safe and healthy way ... would definitely recommend her to everyone....

My experience was was wonderful with Dr. Camille! She is an excellent doctor, very kind and caring. She was very professional and my stay at the recovery house was exceptional. The staff at the recovery house helped us with our medication, cleaning, cooking , rides to the salon to get her hair done, and anything we asked for they were very accommodating

Dra Feliz Camilo is an Excellent doctor, She explain the procedure that she's going to do on your body and She tells you how far can she go. I love that she walks you through everything she's doing. I had a tummy tuck and a breast lift with implants done,I couldn't chose a better Doctor. I'm really happy with my results.

i want to share my experience with who ever trying and searching for a provider in the dominican republic , Im 43 years old today , 160 pounds , 4 kids . i didn't go shopping , i didn't care to care for my self . my husband for 21 years stop telling me how sexy i looked , i wasn't happy . i decided and strongly scared to step out of my comfort zone which was the states. i lucky bumped into this doctor , and i spoke to her i started this journey at 180 pounds for 5"2 . i went on my first trip to DR with my husband , when i finally met her in person . i felt warm , welcomed and i wasn't scared no more. she made me feel great , i had a lot questions and proudly she answered them. so i decided to correct a tummy tuck that ruined my life , i have gotten in 5th ave Manhattan NEW york city. i healed and my life started changing for the best , i started to feel confident in my skin , and i wasn't scared no more. i felt safe , so welcomed , communciation was suburb , she answered all my questions , and told me everything i needed to know plus more, her after care instuctions are awesome , very clean , and specks perfect english .so i went the second time by myself and did lip to my back , fat transfer to my butt, lipo to my arms and between my legs , healing , communication was again 5 star , i healed great , today i went for a breast lift to finish me off . Im as happy as can be , scars healed great , clean cut . In May 2013 I had my first Surgery with Dr. Camilo. I got a Tummy Tuck, BBL, and Breast Lift. My experience was good. I loved my results. Although the BBL did not give me the exact result I was looking for there was a big improvement. Prior to the surgery I lost 22lbs therefore I did not have enough fat to harvest for what I wanted. However it was 100% more than what I had! My Tummy Tuck was awesome! My scar is low and flat and stomach flat! Any stretchmark's I previously had were also gone. My breast lift was also great! I got pregnant in 2016 and had my daughter in March 2017. My tt held up phenomenally!! I bounced back beautifully all due to the previous TT. My breast however from breast feeding did drop. So I decided to get them repaired by Dr Camilo and repeat the BBL. Again my experience with her was great my breast look awesome and preliminary BBL results look great! I am only 1 week post op and I can see better results already! Dr. Camilo specializes in natural looking results which I love and gives you realistic expectations based on your body. Not to mention her results are fantastic. She and her staff are extremely professional and the recovery house she booked for me was amazing. Spa JM is a must after surgery! Dr. Camilo does great work with lasting results. I received Lipo and Adominoplasty in 2010, and I'm still looking great (no exercising required). She was extremely personal, the hospital was very clean, and my stay at the Recovery House was comforting.

10/10 would recommend! She is such a sweet heart, and she made me feel at ease with her. My surgery looks fantastic! I'm still healing since I got surgery a week ago with her but it's such a huge difference. I used to have a manish body (I have huge shoulders and didn't have a butt) but she made my body look so feminine and my butt looks amazing!! She is also my families surgeons , everyone goes to her. But on the side note I was supposed to go to Dr.Mallol and when I did he seemed nice at first but because I had a health issue in the past (which I no longer had) he was charging me an extra $3-4K and he was just money hungry so I ended up going to her and she charged me all together for a bbl, 360 liposuction and rhinoplasty $4.5K and it was so worth it best decision of my life!
