After extensive research, I have found what I think is a top dentist in DR specializing in Dental implants, I needed to have 5 implants and 3 crowns. The price in the US was way more than I could afford. I contacted Dr. Alonso and he responded right away first via phone and then via WhatsApp. I arrived at his DR office to have the procedure and to my surprised it was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Alonso explained every step of the procedure and was very patient and professional. I was given follow up instructions and went on my way. The next morning I got a message from him asking me how was I feeling? Wait is this real? A dentist contacting the patient to follow up, well it was real and every day after that I will get a message from him to check up on me. Thank you Dr. Alonso you are a great Dentist and I will recommend your services to anyone I know

Hello! I am a 43 yr old female from Atlanta G.A. I had done some research on Dr.Alonso, sent him some pics and did a consult over the phone. I was already planning to go to Santo Domingo for some cosmetic surgery and wanted a consult because I was really very unhappy with my smile. I had consulted with my own dentist about what I wanted done and it was going to cost me like $10,000 with my dentist without insurance. Once I consulted with Dr. Alonso and he was charging a lil less than half of that for the same work I was determined to at least get an in person consult. Once I got to Santo Domingo about a week after my phone consult, I wasn't sure I wanted to have all those procedures during one visit so I hadn't contactacted Dr. Alonso yet. I learned once I got there that I was not going to be able to go through with my initial cosmetic surgery plans and I was pretty disappointed. I went ahead and scheduled my return flight home for the next day and thought, let me call Dr.Alonso and see if I can get in last minute. When I called he was more than helpful and accommodating. He called another pateient he had scheduled and asked if she was willing to reschedule and thank God she was!!! He got me right in that afternoon. When I got there, he was just relocating his office so they were still in the process of moving. He was very pleasant in person. He walked me through the process and we got started right away. I was to come back about 2 weeks later for my permanent teeth which he gave me shipping and tracking info for. I went back when they came in, he again was great! Did the work and I was in and out! My first appt was the first of April 2017, and the second was the middle of April. I was Amazed and more that happy with my smile and his work overall. It was so worth the trip and I will continue to see him. I definitely recommend him! He followed up and still continues to follow up with me to make sure I am pleased with his work and my results!!! Jose is very professional and takes pride in his work. Almost like an artist. I am going back in 4 months to get more work done. Very reasonable on pricing and the quality of work is exceptional. To my surprise I was referred by my insurance company to Dr alonso office for an emergency treatment (one filling broke while on holidays in Juan Dolio) He replaced old silver fillings for white ones. I asked for dental implants which never thought it were near a 50% or Less than in NJ. After a comprehensive search for information about him I decided to have implants surgery. Appointment was scheduled and sent me to a lab for blood test and x-rays. Surgery for 3 implants took less than one hour, day after had slight pain managed with simple pain killers no pain two days after surgery. One month after the surgery with no complications(had a consultation with my regular dentist to confirm) Very professional takes his time to work with no rush.

Dr. Alonso provides high quality work, i was referred by my uncle because of this. He has flexible schedule also was great that he works on weekends too. My first appointment was on sunday with Dr. Lopez the endodoncist and Dr. Alonso. Very pleased with bedside manners, transportation, helping me to find a good hotel and time spent with me. I cant thank you enough Dr. Alonso.

I had 3 dental implants in a short surgery no more than one hour. No significant pain after surgery. I just had my final zirconium crowns that looks great same as design doctor alonso sent me. Im budgeting for complete smile makeover with crowns and veneers by end of this year. Nice office with great views of santo domingo very clean and organized. Updated on 6 May 2016: Dental implants with zirconium crowns made with bleach color. Smile makeover will be done with same color in a near future.

I couldn't believe he saw me on a Sunday. I'd sent my x-rays ahead, by email attachment. He went over my options, answered my questions. After the extractions, he arranged to have me driven to a pharmacy to fill my pain prescriptions. Everything was done by that Thursday. a;lskjdf;alskdjf;alkjdfabc

Needed major work done as teeth, those that I had, were very bad. Cost exorbitant in USVI; coworker had work done by Dr. Alonso. Made contact with the Dr. and he was very helpful and informative; provided detailed plan and pricing much better. Once in the DR, my appointment was immediately scheduled and work performed. Dr Alonso continued to monitor my care for the next 8 days and then sent me home. Dr Alonso remains in regular communication with me as I will need to return in 6 months for permanent placement of dentures. We are very pleased with his care.

Great service and overall look for my new smile. I am very satisfied with Dr. Alonso's work. I had a lot of work done and very happy with the final product which I posted some pictures below.
