I've been researching Docs in the Dominican for a few month. I've decided on Dr. Goico and no one else. I first sent an email out about 2 months ago and didn't get a response. I finally called and was told that an email was sent out already. I'm not really sure of that's true but either way, I was told that they were forwarding him my pictures and that he'd get back to me within 1 or 2 week because he answers all his emails personally. It's been 3. I'm gonna try to call again in a couple of days. Curious if anyone is living the same experience. Updated on 12 Apr 2019: So I called last Friday to ask why I hadn't received a response yet. His assistant said it's a busy time of year and said I was 3rd on his list. I called back today, 1 week later and was told that last week, I must have been mistaken for another client with a similar name because, on her records, I should have received his response on March 25th. I didn't. She told me she was looking in to his computer to resend it but unfortunately, this was hours ago and I haven't received anything and she isn't answering me on WhatsApp anymore. Totally discouraged. Updated on 16 Apr 2019: I finally got my email consultation and quote. He's definitely more expensive than other quotes I received but I feel that it's worth it. Mt surgery is booked for the 27th of June, flight booked, booked Arelis recovery house. I just want everything to go smoothly because I'll be traveling alone because hubby is staying home with our 5 kids. I'll be in Dominican for 17 days in all. Updated on 18 Apr 2019: So I got a bill for my balance owed and realized the breast lift wasn't on it. When I inquired, she said he sent me 2 different quotes because he doesn't want to do them together. I said I was confused because I know he sometimes does this and he sent me a voice message on WhatsApp explaining that because my breast were falling as much as they do and they are asymmetrical (my 5 babies all preferred one breast), my breast were a complicated case and he didn't feel like his 5 hour max would be enough time to finish. I'm disappointed because I've had other surgeons here and in the Dominican say they would do it. I've requested a skype consult so I can discuss further what he does differently and why it would be longer and when we could do round two. It's tough with him because he's more expensive and he doesn't include the recovery house. In the end if I need 2 rounds, it will be double what Dr. Kemil Issa quoted me. I'll update if I manage to get the Skype consult. Updated on 8 May 2019: Finally had my video consult with Dr. Goico. Let me just say, he is so charming. What a smile! It's really hard to go with a different doctor after speaking with him. He really seems to care about his patients. He said that sometimes if Hemo levels are high enough, he will consider doing a full Mommy Makeover. He said mine would have to be near 15 because my surgery would take close to 8 hours. He made it clear that even if before the surgery, we agreed that he would, he might change his mind during surgery if he feels that it's unsafe. He also said that patients who wake up without their breast done tend to hate him lol. Right now, I'm taking obscene amounts of iron and trying to lose another 15 lbs before surgery to put everything on my side. If we aren't able to do everything, he said round 2 could take place as soon as 2 months later (have to get hemo back up). Fingers crossed. Here are some before pics as well. Updated on 10 Jun 2019: So after much discussion with my husband, I've decided to switch doctors. Kemil Issa has said no problem for a whole Mommy Makeover. I love his before and afters on Instagram and really don't want to do 2 rounds. Of course I've lost my deposit but going back a second time would add 5000 so oh well. Updated on 29 Jun 2019: Had surgery on Wednesday. Dr Issa explained that he would be using another plastic surgeon as well as 2 assistants to try to keep the surgery time around 4 hours. In the end it took 7. He said my breasts were very difficult. Funny that's the exact reason Dr Goico said he wouldn't do it in one shot. Today I saw Dr. Issa and all my incisions look good, nipples are alive, TT scar is very thin and low. He said he used all the fat they liposuctioned for my BBL. It's hard to tell how it will look because of swelling but I definitely see projection when I had very little before. I'll post pictures when I'm more healed. I was disappointed by the look of my breast because they seemed flat and wide. He said that it's because of the band they place around them after surger and that they'll be better soon. I'm in a special bra now, I'm really hoping they'll have a nice shape, very worried about this. I'll post when I look at them again. Updated on 1 Jul 2019: So I saw Dr Issa again today and this time my breast were really perky, even lying down. I asked how much they removed and since they don't have a scale, he estimated that it was close to 1lbs per breast. Pretty crazy actually. He said he sent the tissue removed to a pathologist to test for cancer because there were cysts in my breasts. Hopefully all is good. Updated on 2 Jul 2019: Went for my massage today with Dr. Issa's girl. I was able to snap a few pics. On one, my nipples seem uneven but I don't think they really are. Not sure what happened. I had showed him picture of nipple placement that i liked but he explained that I'd risk losing them if we put them too high. Better lower and gone right. Updated on 3 Jul 2019: Just wanted to really highly recommend Arelis recovery house. They food is great, they are caring. They stay with me everywhere and translate, also they won't take patients who chose dangerous doctors. They even stay in touch with their patients. Snapped a few pics today after they removed my faja for cleaning. Updated on 4 Jul 2019: Went for my massage today and saw Dr Issa at the same time. They put me in a new faja that feels like torture but looks amazing OMG!!! I wish my body looked like this without it. I may have to wear one forever. Snapped some new pics of breasts. Nipples still seem uneven. I think it could be swelling or maybe it was just hard considering where they started. They also seem to have de swelled. Updated on 7 Jul 2019: Today we took off my faja to clean it and I was able to snap some pictures. I wanna cry happy tears looking at my body. Even I wouldn't believe I have 5 kids looking at my body. My butt is looking amazing and I was so worried. Dr issa is an amazing surgeon. I'd recommend him to anyone. I know for some my butt is small but it's what I asked for, plus I barely had any fat. Sooooo HAPPY! Updated on 10 Jul 2019: Gonna do a little venting. First, today I got a look at my TT scar. He had assured me that it would be very low but it comes almost as high as my belly button on the side. Although the scar is thin, that's pretty disappointing. I'm worried that I'll be limited in bikini bottoms and some clothing. Also his masseuse Ramona is a hot mess. She was late by at least 30 minutes 7 out of 10 times I saw her and she made me bring my own material even though I was paying her. My recovery house really disliked her. Here's a picture of my TT scar. Breasts are looking good though. Updated on 16 Jul 2019: So, I know it's early and they're gonna change but I'm pretty sure my nipples are gonna stay uneven. The one that's most swollen is the one with the lower nipple so when the swelling subsides, the nipple will lower even mor.. I think they look good and the incisions are healing nicely but that's really disappointing to me. Hopefully they'll even out. I notice that the vertical scar on the one with the lower nipple is shorter so it seems like this will be permanent. I wonder if it could be raised Updated on 4 Aug 2019: Been a while since I updated. Everything is looking good. My nipples have evened out it seems but the left one seems to have stretched. Doc said let see how it heals. I'm not sure what that means or even what could be done but it would probably not be worth a trip back to Dominican to fix it. I wonder what could have cause it. I'm using silicone tape for scars and A scar kinda chap stick I bought. I also do massage with castor oil. I had surgery on my wrist a few years back and the scar is almost unnoticeable. Hopefully I can ha e a similar result with my new scars. Updated on 27 Dec 2019: So it's been 6 months. Scar are looking good. My left nipple is weird though, I wish I knew what caused it. I'm going to have it tattooed in September so they are perfectly round and maybe darken them a little. They lightened from the surgery. Stomach looks great. Here's a few pics Updated on 27 Dec 2019: You know, I just looked at the before pics and wow. I have to say, great job dr. Issa. No one would ever guess I had 5 babies. A tip for all. Get close to your goal weight first and don't ever stop working out. My life has changed forever. Amazing.

I want to thank Dr. Kemil for all his attentions, I do not regret having chosen him, he was my first choice from the outset and I feel more than grateful for his work and the professionalism with which he treats his patients. He is a doctor more than concerned throughout the process, from the moment he contacted him he was always very kind, answering every question I had and willing to help me at all times. Im January 2017 I had a tummy tuck, bbl ans liposuction done with Dr Issa. Since then my life has changed. I am so pleased with the way my body looks. I look like a completely different person. Dr Issa before and after the surgery was always concerned about my health. We had lots of whatsapp discussion before I got to Santo Domingo. His bed side manners were good and he has a wonderful massge lady Romona. In all I'm very pleased with Dr Issa and I would highly recommend him.

On June 8th 2017 I had a breast reduction liposuction and bbl by Dr Issa. The treatment I receive was awesome he was very patient with me. I received first class treatment from the beginning until the end. I felt comfortable and at home with him. He is honest reliable caring and a man of his word. No hidden fees or anything he took care of everything. I'm in love with the work that he has done to my body. After researching for a year I can honestly say I am very happy with my decision to go with Dr Kemil.

My experience with Dr. Issa was second to none. Dr. Issa is very knowledgeable and professional. He really cares about his patients and is on top of everything before and after surgery. Great bedside manners and excelellent post-op care. Will always recommend him.

Hello. I went to the DR to have my breast reduction along with fat transfer to my butt and I must say the experience was amazing. When I entered the country I was greeted by my recovery home team and they were on time, maybe a couple of hours before me. I felt so happy seeing her with my name on a sign. Not only was she holding a sign but she was the only one on the ramp when I came thru the double doors so I wouldn't had missed her even if she wasn't holding a sign lol. She greeted me, we hugged and headed out to the recovery house. I instantly felt safe when I entered the neighborhood. We pulled up to the recovery house and it was beautiful. I walked in and was greeted with cleanliness and my room was so neat and organized. I stayed in the triple room so I did have roommates which they were amazing. They both were from the US so I def was happy with that. Food was amazing and they made sure you ate 3 meals plus snack a day. What impressed me the most about House of Fine was that they were with me everyday of my surgery. They made sure I was getting proper care at the hospital. They came and visited even when I was sleep. Me being over there in the country by myself needed this the most and they came thru. I will forever be a guest at House of fine recovery home. Milli and her mom are two beautiful people. The only recovery home I'll stay at while in the DR. My doctor was all over the place but was an amazing man. I made the mistake of bringing only money for the recovery house and the total I was quoted for surgery, I had a lil spending money but it didn't cover the costs that were added to my quote that I wasn't aware of. I had to pay for blood work and ekg in which I was told it was included in my quote. Hospital meds too. Because he did my surgery two days after the initial day I had to stay extra days at the recovery home plus change my flight wich cost me an extra $400. So the total of extra I paid was about $1200.

My experience been Dr. Issa patient was very good, he's very professional, I had a TT and liposuction on my back and tights, I'm very happy the way I look now and the way I was treated at the clinic. I recommend Dr. Issa to anyone who wants to be treated by a kind and profesional plastic surgeon. Inicially I wanted to do multiple porcedures but reconsidered to do the correct and more secure procedures diminishing the risks.
