100% recommend Dr. Goldstein. I go here for all of my cosmetic needs. I think the first time I went was around 2014! The results surpass my expectations. He is honest which I truly appreciate. Prices are reasonable and the Madison office is super easy to get to (right off the freeway).

Upper and lower blepharoplasty (both eyes), neck lift facelift ....5 days post op and already seeing fantastic results! Just had upper and lower eyelid stitches removed yesterday and remaining stitches being removed next week. I can already see a neckline I have never had (aging neck (64 yo) in addition to my weight yo yo'ing 80 lbs over the course of my life) Dr. Goldstein and staff are wonderful. Very straightforward pre and post op instructions. The dr. called the night before and night of surgery which was wonderful. I also had a great experience at Yale/New Haven/Westerly RI hospital. Will provide additional updates as I enjoy my recuperation time !!!

35 yr old mom of two. After having my first child, I acquired a central and umbilical hernia which visually bothered me. Prior to my second child I had an ectopic pregnancy where I needed emergency surgery which left me with a scar that mentally reminded me every day of the child I lost. I was then fortunate to have a second baby via c-sections. So more scars, stretch marks, and my hernias protruded even more and became painful. I decided enough is enough. I decided in Feb 2020 I was going to repair my hernias, and get an tummy tuck which would repair my abdominal walls and reinforce my abdomen not to mention improve my self confidence. Updated on 6 Jun 2020: Surgery went well and I was discharged from the hospital yesterday afternoon. In the late evening I was having some painful muscle spasms in my abdomen that lasted mostly all night my pain meds have not even begun to touch the pain I was in. Is this normal? Most say it is but what do you do when they occur? I’m in so much pain (9 out of 10). Updated on 11 Jun 2020: Appointment went great! Drains where removed. They stung coming out and then after a couple seconds felt normal again. Surgical coverings removed and I finally got to see my surgeons masterpiece. Surprised I didn’t have any bruising. Stomach is very tight. I can’t fully Stand up yet but by next week I should be walking normal again. Also finally got cleared to take my first shower in 7 days! Finally feeling normal again! Oh, will take photos tomorrow, it’s been a long day. Updated on 12 Jun 2020: Here is a pic of me after getting drains out yesterday. My sutures are covered in acquaphor so it looks a bit mushy but I like my results. Looking forward to next week when my sutures are removed and my body can finally heal on the outside too. Not all my stretch marks were removed but that ok. My hernias are repaired so I’m more than thrilled. Updated on 27 Jun 2020: W2po wasn’t bad. I was feeling good but my sutures kept pinching. I got some of those removed and then the real healing began. They are all dissolvable but my surgeon likes to remove some to assist with healing. From then on I started to do more around the house like vacuuming with a lightweight vacuum and folding laundry. I also have been making meals for myself but I made 2months of meals ahead of time and froze so it’s just warming things up. 3wpo this past Thursday and it gets better. I can wash dishes and small other tasks. I started to swell a little bit just in the abdomen but continue to wear my binder which helps. I haven’t had time to nap this week but continue to drink a ton of water and massage my stomach 2x a day which helps tremendously. I’ve also been driving now so that’s great. Updated on 2 Jul 2020: I’m officially four weeks post-op.PS says everything looks good. My stitches are still dissolving and belly button is still swollen but healing well. I’ve been massaging scar with acquaphor 2x daily and still wearing my abdominal garment even though I’m cleared to switch to spanx I feel more secure. I’ve been more active around the house such as doing laundry, cooking dinner, and vacuuming. This week I’ve noticed a lot of swelling in my abdomen at the end of the day. I look like I’m about 4 months pregnant but I’m the morning I’m back to a flat stomach. Pretty sure this will last for awhile and again is very normal. I’ve also been cleared to walk more. So every other day I’ve been doing speed walking. I’ll see my surgeon again in 2 weeks and hopefully will be cleared to start scar therapy. Updated on 9 Jul 2020: So this week has been a little rough. I was very active and overworking my abs more than usual so there were days I was more swollen than others. However, I’ve finally felt stable enough to go in the pool a couple of times so that was nice. I have gone the past two days without wearing my garment which feels really odd but it was leaving impressions on one side so I ordered a new one without hooks to support me when I return back to work. I really don’t need it but it’s like my security blanket since I have two young active kids. Sadly however I had a slight setback yesterday when I went to pick up a toy from the bathtub. I sat on the edge of the tub and lost my balance. My arms went one way and my legs went the other and fell hard on my right side. It was painful to say the least but I iced for 20min on and off which felt a lot better. Today as I was massaging my incision, a few dissolvable stitches fell off which is always a good thing. I still have a few stitches peaking out so I’m not ready for scar therapy. I haven’t really had time to go out and walk very much. I’ve been eating smaller portions and making healthier decisions but ice cream is my weakness. I’ve also felt more tired and been sleeping in a lot. I’m now mentally starting to prepare to go back to work within one more week. My belly button is still swollen but it’s normal. You can still see the scaring on both sides below my incision where my drains came out of. My right side is darker than the left and I’m hoping they’ll fade over time. Otherwise I’m still happy with my decision. My hernia no longer pokes out and my stomach is nice and flat. Updated on 21 Jul 2020: Finally made it to 6wpo last Thursday!!! So crazy me pulled off a 5k and was feeling great. Then Monday came along when I had to go back to work. I was a little bummed but also excited to go back to my routine...I take those words back. Omg! I started to swell and now I feel a full ache on my right side. Met with my PS today and he reminded me the more active I become the more swollen I get and reassured me it will get better. We discussed scar treatments. He recommended biocornium and told me the magic is in the massage. I also asked him about silicone strips and he told me they all work because of massage. So I’m starting silicone therapy for my incision and the lotion on my belly button. Kinda afraid to put any adhesive to my belly button since it’s still swollen. Other than that I’m doing pretty good. Got to wear a dress I haven’t worn in 6 years. So happy! Best decision EVER!!! Updated on 9 Nov 2020: Hello ladies!!! Recovery has been great. I’m still numb around the belly button but that’s normal. Since 6wpo, I’ve lost 10lbs. I continue to feel bloated now and again so I have removed dairy and red meat from my diet and that has helped tremendously. Still using the biocorneum 2x a day on the scar which is slowly getting lighter. Sometimes it’s still tender to massage but that’s to be expected. I’ve been running 4-5 miles every other day, kickboxing once a week, and doing light weight workouts whenever I can. Eating healthy is honestly what’s been sculpting my stomach back to my pre-baby bod which feels great. Wore a 2-piece bikini on vacation which o haven’t done in over 7 years. The confidence I have was well worth the cost. Updated on 11 Dec 2020: Finally made it to the 6 month mark. Back to doing home workouts (HIIT and kickboxing) and running as usual. Once in a while I get muscle spasms but nothing painful. I cut out dairy and red meat from my diet and that seemed to relieve the random bloating episodes. Still applying biocorneum twice a day with massaging.

My experience was better then I thought possible.The Dr.and Nancy are wonderful.Very happy with mini face lift at age 64.Made a big impact and still have the laser treatments to go.Would surely return and highly recommend Dr.Goldstein.When I go there you do not have to wait around everything is on time.Pain was not a issue more like being uncomfortable for a few days.Highly recommend.The westerly hospital in RI was fantastic also.

I had a great experience with Dr. Goldstein. He and his staff were professional and courteous. I felt completely at ease during the short procedure and was given all the info I needed at my consult as well as post op care instructions (plus free samples). I'm looking forward to my next treatment as the redness and discomfort was easily tolerable even on the first day although I do have tough skin (not sensitive) and will probably increase the microns next time to 20. My skin did feel hot (increased heat) but being completely covered with aquaphor helps plus a cold compress the first hour or so. I'm just hoping by Tuesday, the redness will be gone.

I came into Dr Goldstein’s office inquiring about a breast augmentation last summer. I’m a mother of 4 who breastfed all my children and I went from a C cup to a deflated A. All I wanted was fullness, cleavage, and my confidence back. Dr Goldstein was amazing every step of the way he answered any questions I had and helped me picked a size that would sit naturally on my small frame. He had great bedside manner and calmed my nerves throughout the whole process. A week After my surgery I ended up with a hematoma behind my right breast. I called his office nervous and he had me in first thing that morning. He never hesitated to make sure that I had the best care he got me back into the OR the same day to remove the implant clean out the area and even replaced the implant with a new one no extra costs. It was all about me at that point and Dr Goldstein made sure to make decisions based on what was best for me not what was convenient for him it was 9AM when I arrived at his office I’m sure I disrupted his whole day and other patients, but at that moment he let me know it was about my health. As scary as the whole situation was he reassured me everything would be okay. He called and checked up on me after the hematoma removal and I had a follow up appointment the next week. 4 months later and I get compliments daily on how amazing I look and most people can’t tell I even had a breast aug. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or surgeon! Thank you for giving me my body back.

I am thrilled with the results of a recent surgery done by Dr. Leon Goldstein. Over the years, I have seen my face and especially, my eyelids change. In the mirror, I seemed to always focus on one eyelid that sagged, making my face seem asymmetrical. Although this wasn’t obvious to others, to me it outweighed everything else. The first step- walking into the office for a consultation, was by far the hardest. Now, my only regret is that I didn’t undergo eyelid surgery earlier. As soon as I was in Dr. G’s office, I was treated with sensitivity and professionalism, from his staff and by this gifted doctor. Dr. G is clearly a perfectionist, and is treated by hospital staff with respect and warmth. The nurses seemed as excited as I was with the upcoming procedure, telling me he is known for his “Gorgeous eyes.” I felt very lucky to be one of his patents throughout the entire process. I was amazed by the results! One surprise was the speed of the healing. It was incredibly fast due to following his tips and instructions, and I was also happily surprised that about a week later, it was easy to hide any evidence of a surgical procedure. To me- the change was incredible- I looked better than I did 30 years ago! The questions from friends and colleagues all centered on did I lose weight? go on vacation? etc. Somehow, with the help of this incredible doctor and his talented staff, I was able to have a huge improvement to my appearance, and yet keep the source of it a secret.

When I recently had an appointment with my dermatologist about my lips, he recommended that I see Dr. Leon Goldstein for laser treatments for my lips. So I made an appointment with Dr. Goldstein concerning my lip. While there, I asked him what he could do about my droopy eyelids. He recommended we operate around my eyes to remove my droopy eyelids and eliminate the puffiness under my eyes. Once the eyelid surgery was over and the healing process well underway, he said he would work on my upper lip as a complimentary service. Dr. Goldstein explained exactly what would take place in both procedures and showed me before and after results of other patients. After talking with him and listening to what he had to say, I felt confident that this was the right thing to do. We booked the procedure at Westerly Hospital in Rhode Island for a Thursday morning. After being prepped for surgery, Dr. Goldstein visited me to see how I was doing and drew markers around my eyes in preparation for surgery. The surgery went well. In recovery, I was given cold compresses for my eyes to prevent swelling, antibiotics to prevent infection and an ointment to aid in healing. Yes, instructions were provided and a prescription for pain medication was made available. There was little pain, so these were not needed after the first day or two. On my way home from the hospital, my husband noticed some bleeding from the sutures around my left eye. When Dr. Goldstein called me that night, he assured me that this was normal and there was nothing to worry about. The most bruising and swelling occurred during the first four days of recovery. I looked scary! I applied cold compresses and took it easy as told and in a week, I looked much better. During this time, I found the swelling around my eyes to be the most uncomfortable part of the healing, but Dr. Goldstein explained that the skin around the eyes is very thin and sensitive and some swelling is to be expected. Keep using cold compresses! Eight days after surgery, D. Goldstein removed the stiches and I was back to work that day. Now I must remember to massage the area around my eyes to reduce a small amount of residual swelling. It has been eight weeks after surgery and Dr. Goldstein has begun laser treatment on my upper lip. I am pleased. I have to say, just felt confident from the first visit with Dr. Goldstein.
