5 out of 5 stars CoolSculpting

Best experience!

I had coolsculpting done on my upper and lower abdomen with Dr. Nichols 2 months ago and should have written this review earlier. I saw results after 4 weeks, and continue to see improvements!!! This was honestly the best thing I have ever done for myself. I workout and am in decent shape but had stubborn belly fat, a pooch under my belly button and a roll of fat under my bra cups. My stomach...

38 Year Old Male, Physically Active but Loves Food

I got the procedure on my front and sides. It has been noticeable better. It took around 2.5 months to really start seeing results but when they did it has been very good. I would recommend doing what I did and finding a DR that uses the newest coolscuplting machines. Going for 30 minutes instead of an hour per procedure is a huge from a comfort and time saving perspective.

5 out of 5 stars Acne Treatment

Completely Cured Acne - Greenwich, CT

Dr. Nichols was very kind. She listened to my description of my experience with my condition and the current state of my skin and very quickly prescribed a regimen which utilized a very safe yet unconventional drug for my cyclical, hormonally influenced acne, as well as a topical cream synthesized in her lab. I saw results after four days, and my skin has been almost perfectly clear since. She spent the necessary amount of time with me to listen to me, discuss possible courses of treatment with me and prescribe a course of treatment, which is what doctors are supposed to do.

Turned 40 and Needed a Tune Up! Greenwich, CT

Dr. Nichols is an exceptionally knowledgable and skilled dermatologist who immediately puts you at ease! From the moment you walk into the office, you feel welcomed and supported. It is rare to find a dermatologist who can address both medical and cosmetic needs. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and really counsels and guides you through any process. She is warm, patient and has an amazing bedside manner. I would not even consider going to anyone else!!!

Couldn't Be Happier and Feeling Beautiful! - Greenwich, CT

It was time ... I was in my mid forties and feeling it all over. I was ready for something that would help me feel and look a little more alive but I was scared. After meeting Dr. Kim Nichols at an event, I made an appointment for a consultation at NicholsMd in Greenwich, CT and I was impressed with her and her team. Not only was she personable and knowledgeable but she actually listened to...

Much Needed Fraxel - Greenwich, CT

I went to Dr. Nichols, after searching online for doctors that performed the Fraxel treatment. Prior to the appointment with Dr. Kim, I had been to another doctor for a consultation. I was not pleased with his poor bedside manners, and his lack of expertise with my skin tone. I was delighted to find Dr. Kim and felt at ease with her, because I felt as though she understood my issues and also...

Great but Subtle Improvement in Skin Texture and Scar - Greenwich, CT

Fraxel dual laser is working very well for me. I saw improvement after two treatments. Dr. Nichols is an excellent practitioner and I felt very little pain. I swelled up considerably after the first treatment. So, on the morning of the second treatment, I started steroids, arnica montana and slept for three nights with my head elevated. Consequently, I had very little swelling, although my...

Bad Experience with Belotero - Greenwich, CT

I had it injected around my eyes...the swelling and bumpiness lasted for over 2 months, until my wonderful doctor agreed to inject it again to remove the belotero. Apparently, she had not seen this happen before, but I understand the risks of putting foreign material into my body. There is still a black and blue mark next to my eye that has been there now for 3 months. I suppose that perhaps...

5 out of 5 stars Radiesse

60 Years Old, 3 Years Post Face-lift - Greenwich, CT

I am an older, fair haired woman who previously has had a face lift, CO2 laser and regular botox. I consulted various dermatologists when I thought I might need fillers, as I was not liking the haggard face that I saw in the mirror. Dr. Nichols’ credentials are very good. She is attentive, focussed, a good listener, and seems to have an artistic eye. At my first visit, three months ago, she prescribed Mirvaso (new on the market) for Rosacea. It appears to me to be a miracle topical drug that eliminates my redness. No one had mentioned this drug to me before. We proceeded slowly as I built my confidence in her judgment. First was Radiesse in my cheeks...success. Simultaneously, she injected steroids into a scar on my forehead to reduce the bumpiness. Next was belotero around my eyes, which did not do well and caused bumpiness and swelling that lasted for a couple of months, until we decided to inject an agent to remove it. Throughout, I felt confident that Dr.Nichols would be able to fix the problem and so I did not panic, but patiently waited for her to decide how to proceed. This ability to inspire a patient with confidence is important, as it is easy to panic when things do not go as projected. It is essential for me to know that my doctor will do everything possible to correct a mistake. After all, one is injecting a foreign substance into one’s body and people react differently. Most recently, Dr. Nichols did fraxel laser on my face to improve skin quality. She had said at the outset that the best outcome would be 3 to 6 treatments, and that it might take 3 treatments before I saw results. In this, she did not over promise, which is also very important, as it is normal to hope for miracles and then be disappointed when they don’t occur. However, in my case, she under promised, as I saw positive results after only two treatments, so I am proceeding with all 6. She also told me that the ugly scar on my forehead would pretty much disappear, and though it has not, it has greatly improved and so I expect she will be right about this as well. I had previously seen a laser specialist from whom I had one treatment. In comparison, I can say that I felt more comfortable with Dr. Nichols. There is a lot of hand holding in her office, especially by her beautiful assistant, Candy.
