Dr. John Samas is a New York-trained plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. He graduated from Stony Brook University, in New York, with a Bachelor of Science in both Biology and Philosophy. During his time at Stony Brook University, Dr. Samas worked as a research associate, conducting both clinical and basic science research. His work was focused on the development of targeted chemotherapy drugs for cancer treatment. Dr. Samas earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. During his time as a surgeon, he has gained ample experience in a wide array of areas including Cosmetic/Aesthetic, Breast and Cancer Reconstruction, Hand Surgery, Burn Surgery, Abdominal Reconstruction, Wound Care, and Trauma Reconstruction.
