44 Year Old with Droopy Eyelids Seeks Corrective Surgery - Colorado Springs, CO

Three years ago I noticed that my vision was being impaired by my eyelids which were halfway closed due to excess skin on my upper eyelids. I mentioned this to my opthamologist during my next checkup. He agreed and thought my vision could be improved by having it be extra skim removed from my upper eyelids by a reconstructive plastic surgeon. He then gave me the names of two such surgeons.

74 Year-old Needed Eyelid and Facelift Before my Daughter's Wedding. Colorado Springs, CO

It was easier than I thought it would be, and the healing was faster than expected. Noticed a great improvement that held up for about 7-8 years. I also had a chemical peel of my face that really improved my skin. The stitches were in for about 9 days. The peel took about 10 days to heal, but was slightly red for about a month, but I could cover with makeup.

37 & Need a Little Help - Colorado Springs, CO

37 & single with crease between eyes when I squint, really I saw it when wearing sunglasses and thought I need some help. I do 30 units with each treatment and I wear sunscreen everyday. I do get a little on outside corners of my eyes. I also had filler under my eyes because I'm thin and I thought I was starting to look somewhat hollow under my eyes.

Eyelid Reconstruction - Colorado Springs, CO

I had a basal cell skin cancer in the lower right corner of my right eye which I had removed. Dr. John Burroughs did a skin graft and re-constructed the area in a local surgery center. He did an outstanding job and I had no complications. He is a world-class guy, as well as a world-class doc. He prayed with me and my wife prior to the surgery, which I found both unique and comforting, and...

Too Much Sun!

Dr. Burroughs put me back together after Mohs surgery. Surgery is intimidating, especially with it involves your face. He & his entire staff eased me fears. The results are amazing.... you would not know I had reconstructive surgery (twice) unless I pointed it out. His approach is very comforting and his credentials are very impressive. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Burroughs.

Upper and Lower Blep. 47 Year Female - Colorado Springs, CO

I was going to go low key on this - but I thought nope " I gotta let my sisters know out there how it goes down" I also wanted to share my protocol. As you can see from the before pics I had quite a bit of hooding- which has always been my natural look. As you know it can begin to look like one is always tired and 'actually' when I am tired it sort of began to feel like it was effecting my...

I have been wanting to have an eyelid lift for over 10 years. I finally did it and I am so happy that I did! I am no longer hiding behind my sunglasses. It is the best decision and money I have ever spent. I wish I would have had the surgery 10 years ago. So very happy with the results. Do your homework and then meet with Dr. Burroughs. He is the best!
