I Am Worth It.. So I Finally Did It - Regina, SK

My GP said she wouldn't refer me to anyone else but him. Said he was an amazing PS and that's exactly what I wanted in a surgeon. My consultation with Dr. Ledding was surprisingly awful lol. He was so busy I waited for 2 hours and i got a parking ticket. Plus he was late for picking up his kids at daycare I thinks... So he was rushed. He was rude, sarcastic and cold BUT I wasn't seeing him to make friends. I wanted a good PS and sometimes the good ones aren't the friendliest but are good at what they do. I had to pay $500 down to book, without knowing my final cost for everything. My BR was paid by the provincial health but the TT was extra, and he said no bargains for 2 lol. My TT was another $8600,plus $630 for the OR at the hospital. I had a Velcro binder and 2 surgical bras included. 2nd stage garments were $280 for a high waist to knee abd CG and $60 for a soft bra (smaller than the 2 I initially received). And 2 1/2 weeks unpaid by my insurance, as they only covered 2 weeks for the "needed" BR as the TT was cosmetic only. Dr Ledding was much more personable the day of surgery and my 1st follow up 2 days later. I think he had a bad day during my consultation and he's really not all that warm or jovial lol but an excellent surgeon. Would do it again in a heart beat.
