I’d been considering a breast reduction since 2021 and consulted with several surgeons across Toronto and the GTA. Choosing Dr. Beber was the best decision I could have made. Dr. Brett Beber is truly a master of his craft. I’m in my late 30s, have never had kids, and was blessed (or cursed?) with a very large chest on a lean frame. After years of hormonal breast pain and backaches, my MD finally referred me to Dr. Beber so I could qualify for OHIP coverage. A friend-of-a-friend had recently had a reduction with him and raved about the results — and she was right! I booked a consultation at his Holly Street office. The team (hi Olivia!) was lovely — welcoming, warm, and helpful. Dr. Beber was kind, attentive, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. Thanks to a last-minute opening at the hospital, I left that same day with a surgery date for the following month: a bilateral liposuction-assisted breast reduction. Before surgery, I had to show him examples of my “dream boobs,” which felt weird and slightly absurd. Luckily, he seemed to read my mind and helped guide me through the process. I told him to go as small as possible — I was all in! Surgery was day-only at Michael Garron Hospital. I arrived, joked with other patients to ease our nerves, and got sharpie-marked with surgical precision. The anesthesiologist had a great sense of humour, and I literally laughed myself to sleep. Surgery took about 3 hours — apparently I was strapped to a pivoting table so gravity could help check for breast symmetry mid-op. Science! Post-op was smooth. I woke up with minimal pain (except the back of my heels from lying down so long), and Dr. Beber came by to let me know it all went well. Recovery was easier than expected. I rested like royalty, propped at 45°, with my family pampering me. Bandage removal was uneventful, and the results? Even with swelling, I could have cried with joy. Perky nipples, higher placement — I looked like I was 15 again! Now, 3 months later, the swelling is gone, the hamster-biting-nipple hypersensitivity has passed, and I’m fully back to normal life. The scars are red but impressively thin and flat — minimal scarring is one of Dr. Beber’s many superpowers. I use scar cream and massage twice daily, but the hard part is over. I’m mobile, pain-free, and feeling more confident and healthy than I have in years. Today, I even wore a sundress with no bra — something I hadn’t done in over a decade. Thank you Dr. Beber and team! My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I have been contemplating breast reduction for many years due to back and neck pain. It is an incredibly hard decision to change your body, Dr. Beber and his entire staff make you feel welcomed and comfortable from beginning to end. The process is incredibly efficient, with that said Dr. Beber ensures there is a level of comfort and safe feeling. Never feeling rushed and there is always an understanding what will happen next.

It's been 5 years post op for me, so this review is long overdue. I shopped around, and Dr. Beber and his team were the nicest of all the surgeons I met - he gave me detailed descriptions of the scar, how they might change over time (given my skin issues), where the incision would be. I asked him for an experimental procedure to maintain some breast tissue, which no other surgeon was willing to entertain, and Dr. Beber did it! The post-op scar care was amazing (which really makes a huge difference).

Dr. Beber is Fantastic!!! He is so knowledgable and also easy to talk with. My experience with him and the team was so pleasurable from start to finish! Dr. Beber really put me at ease and made me feel more than confident about the process and procedure. Somehow a potentially scary surgery was fun! The operation team was unbelievable too, again somehow this scary moment was enjoyable! The office team is fabulous too, thank you Madison for answering ALL my emails post op, you made me feel so supported and not annoying which I was. Best experience and my boobs are absolutely FABULOUS!

I am absolutely pleased with the results of my breast reduction surgery which I had almost one month ago. Dr Beber and his staff (Jen and Madison) were very warm and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable since my first consultation. He explained the procedure in detail, was very informative and answered any questions about the surgery and recovery. I felt very confident that I was in good hands throughout the entire process. My experience during surgery was excellent. I was very nervous on the day of surgery but Dr Beber and the nursing staff at the hospital were kind and understanding and made me feel comfortable. The recovery has been smooth and seamless and the team has been supportive. Overall, I give Dr Beber and his team 5 stars and would recommend him to anyone considering a procedure. Did Dr Beeber go to Hogwarts? Is he a time travelling surgeon from the distant future? No one knows. All I know is I asked him to make me as small as possible and he got me from a G to a small C with a great shape and thin elegant scars that should heal more in time. I try not to ask too many questions about how, lest I break a secret spell. He has great bedside manner, truly listens, and answers questions thoroughly and honestly. You really couldn’t do better. Staff were kind and available for any and all follow up questions, no matter how tiny and neurotic.
