Rhinoplasty is a highly satisfying surgery to perform because it allows me to not only improve the appearance of a nose, but to make it function better as well. Rhinoplasty can also improve breathing issues caused by a deviated septum or collapsed nostrils. I have dedicated my entire career to perfecting my skills in rhinoplasty. My Toronto patients seek me out when they are interested in getting a nose job because I have been known to give incredible and consistent results, even in difficult cases. During your rhinoplasty consultation, I will assess your condition as well as your goals, and we will discuss different options. For example, one option is an endonasal or closed rhinoplasty. With this procedure, incisions are made in the inside of the nose, whereas with the external or open approach, the incision is made between the nostrils. We will also use a 3D simulation system called Crisalix, so you can have a visual representation of how you will look following your surgery.

Prominent ears that are too big or stick out can cause low self-esteem and self-consciousness. However, an otoplasty, or ear surgery, is an option for Toronto patients looking to correct these issues. During an otoplasty, the folds and grooves of the ear are recreated to give an improved look. One of the otoplasty procedures I'm known for involves an incisionless technique. During this procedure, the permanent stitches that are used to reshape the ear in traditional open otoplasty are placed through the skin and buried underneath without requiring any cuts. This technique, done in less than an hour, requires very little downtime and results in less swelling and bruising. I am proud to have been the first surgeon in Canada to offer the incisionless technique. I am also known for earlobe repair. Whether a patient experiences issues relating to the earlobes due to trauma from heavy earrings, birth defects, or other abnormalities, an earlobe restoration procedure is a great option.

After earning his medical degree, Dr. Gantous attended the University of California Los Angeles and the University of Toronto to undergo a six-year training program in otolaryngology and head & neck surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. This was followed by fellowship training in cranio-facial surgery at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Gantous is also an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and of the Head of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Head and Neck Surgery.

He belongs to many prestigious medical societies including the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Surgery. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
