Not only was Dr. Bonaparte kind, but all of his office staff were also very friendly to deal with.
5 out of 5 stars Eyelid Surgery
I had the pleasure of having a procedure done by Dr Bonaparte when he was in Toronto. I seen him 3 times for Botox injections prior to this. After seeing two other doctors who BRUISED ME BADLY, Dr Bonaparte was probably the gentlest most considerate doctor I've had. No wonder people have been asking for him by name at the clinic in Toronto, even though he left! I felt obliged to write this review as people in Ottawa should feel privileged to have him there. He did surgery on my eyelids as well as a laser treatment on my forehead. It turned out wonderful and he helped me though every step of the way. Its a shame he moved to Ottawa, I actually considered travelling there just to have him inject my botox and fillers!

I've been suffering with a horrible condition for years now and during this time I have seen or spoke to a lot of doctors and non of them could help me until I found Dr. Bonaparte ... 5 out of 5 stars Facial Reconstructive Surgery
I always say, half of your experience in a hospital or getting treated by a doctor is communication and information. Dr Bonaparte excels in this regard. You know he is busy, but you never feel rushed. You'd expect someone who looks so young to have less experience, but this was not the case at all! I was so nervous about this cancer and the possible procedure. But after two minutes, I felt so comfortable and at ease. He removed the cancer from my nose and repaired it using skin from around the hole. I saw a picture of how big it was and I'm very surprised how good it looks. At no point did i feel pain, discomfort and anxiety. As I mentioned, its amazing how much communication helps. But I am very happy, even with such a big hole from the surgery, the scar looks great and its barely noticeable and its only been a few weeks. I would recommend Dr Bonaparte to anyone.
If you are going to be in the clinic atleast get your times worth and make an appointment with Gregory Antoniak Terrible experience with both doctor and staff, have to call constantly just to get an answer to a simple question, and showed up to first appointment to find out they had cancelled it without telling me ? Lesson learned... I've seen better and worse
5 out of 5 stars Chin Liposuction
I saw Dr. Bonaparte for a sub mental/chin liposuction consultation. I found him to be very honest and personable. I decided to schedule the surgery, and I love the results! He had a very gentle bed side manner, and the staff was very accommodating. There was virtually no bruising, and the recovery time was very fast. I have complete confidence in Dr. Boneparte, and would not hesitate to recommend him. Renee D.
5 out of 5 stars Lower Face Lift
Dr. Bonaparte is kind and knowledgeable. He prepared me well for the procedure and answered all my questions. He made himself easily available by email or phone post operatively. He was honest about what to expect. No real waiting in office at follow up appointments. I am so pleased with the results. Would recommend Dr. Bonaparte and this surgery to anyone interested.
5 out of 5 stars Rhinoplasty
Dr.Bonaparte performed my rhinoplasty in early 2016. Now, at 7 months post-surgery, I am extremely pleased with the results. In my specific case, he created a more balanced facial profile by reducing my high-bridged nose. My overall experience with Dr.Bonaparte (including the staff and nurses in his office and the Carleton Place Hospital) was a very positive one. During the initial consult, Dr...

Recently, I have published a large study looking at the difference between Botox, Dysport and Xeomin. It was one of the largest studies ever published on the topic. The paper was published in the prestigious journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. If interested, be sure to check out my website and look in the Blog. James Bonaparte
We all hear about options out there to help achieve skin that is described as radiant or glowing. Typically, people often start with high quality skin care, sun avoidance, chemical peels and perhaps Botox. But what if you want to go to the next level? What if you want to really achieve the glowing skin you see yourself with? One option is a technology that uses a type of laser called a “diode” laser. Of all the laser types in the world, the diode is the most common. In fact, a...
Ever wonder how neuromodulators like Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomen® reduces wrinkles? I did, hence why I set out to research this topic in detail. Until recently, we all knew that these medications worked by stopping your facial muscles from moving. So you can imagine if you can’t move a muscle that causes a wrinkle, you will see the wrinkle less. This makes perfect sense, but what doesn’t make sense is why, with repeated treatments with these neuromodulators, do people’s wrinkles...
When you go online and read about a Rhinoplasty or a Septoplasty, have you ever noticed that people often complain about two related things, Nasal packing and splints. In my experience, its one of the most common things that well informed people ask me, "Do you use nasal Packing or splints after surgery?" Also, people who had rhinoplasties typically complain about the packing or splints being the most painful part of the surgery. So what is a nasal pack and splint? A nasal pack is simply a...
