I made several consultations and decided on Dr. Ryan Frank. His bedside manner was very friendly and his office was able to schedule me in quickly. Since my initial consultation I've interacted with his administrative assistant and two nurses who were all very lovely. Nurse Carol I have dealt with the most as she was with me on the surgery day- and she was something to right home about. She was very helpful and friendly. I found her very comforting to be around. Dr Frank was also very reassuring and friendly.
35 Y.o., 36G/H Two Kids in 3 Years, Been Thinking About the Breast Reduction for a Year Now. Calgary, AB
I had 36D before the kids and my breasts have never been perky. After the 1st pregnancy my breasts became 36DDD/E and I was hoping they would go back after im done nursing but they stayed the same... Then after my second pregnancy my size became 36F and after nursing to 36G/H. At some point I just thought I can't take it anymore, the heaviness, back and shoulder pain. Not to mention constant...
I have been feeling awful about myself and a trip to Mexico was my final breaking point. I hate that I can't wear bathing suits and swim with my kids because of how I feel about myself. So, once I returned to Calgary I booked consultation with Dr. Frank in mission. I have not shown anyone the extent of damage to my body and so I was really nervous to bare it all for the doc. It went really...

Thanks to the brave women who have shared their stories on Real Self I am posting my journey through a Tummy tuck with liposuction and muscle repair. It has taken me 15 years to get to this post - i still can't actually believe I am doing this! Here is my story... I have two children aged 15 and 18. Due to complications of HELLP syndrome during and after labor I gained a lot of weight in a...
Hi all! This story of mine is quite average but I'm barely able to contain my excitement to finally feel like myself again after the procedure. I have 3 kids, all of which are under 5 so I've been quite busy and am ready for some me time. My most recent baby is 7 months old and has decided to reject nursing from me in December. I was told I need to let everything dry up before I can get the...

Dr Frank is a very friendly and personable person. He sets out all expectations on the table and tells you what to expect. As a plastic surgeon who's worked a lot with young children it really shows his empathy with patients wanting to improve their superficial issues. At no time was I ever treated like a simple patient for a small procedure. He made sure my comfort was of utmost importance.
