Dr. Terino is Beverly Hills' Best-Kept Secret!!! - Agoura Hills, CA

I was recently referred to Dr. Terino by a well-known Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon because of his expertise in the procedures I wanted done, some of which were challenging. He also told me he had heard from colleagues elsewhere that Dr. Terino was doing facelifts on a number of other cosmetic surgeons, which was all I needed to hear. He is Beverly Hills' best-kept secret!!! I've seen the before -and-after photos of the best-of-the-best cosmetic surgeons in the country and he's the only one I know of who has a refined enough eye for beauty and the artistic ability to transform an unattractive person into a beautiful one and he's done it many times!!! I'm just thrilled with the results of my surgery and he and his dream team greatly exceeded all of my expectations! He performed 10 hours of surgery on my face and was so gentle there was almost no bruising, or swelling or even any discomfort, and I never needed any pain medication!!! I actually went out to dinner 3 days post-op with only sunglasses on my face and the people I mentioned it to couldn't believe I'd had surgery! I gave him very detailed requests of what I wanted and brought photos of what I do and don't like and he followed them exactly, and even photoshopped the changes to show me prior to surgery how it would look. He's a world-class cosmetic surgeon and you won't find a better or more caring one anywhere. I feel blessed to have found him and you will too when you find out what this brilliant and AMAZING surgeon can do for you!!!

Revision Rhinoplasty - Agoura Hills, CA

I just had a revision rhinoplasty done by Dr. Terino and the end result far exceeded my expectations. It's been about five weeks since the surgery and I'm probably still a little swollen, if at all, but i think it's pretty close to the end result. My problem had to do with a dorsal hump that formed on the bridge due to an accident. Not only did Dr. Terino remove the hump, he also improved the overall symmetry of my nose. For this I'm entirely grateful and very happy that I chose him. I would highly recommend him to anyone, he has a great aesthetic eye and his workmanship is expressed by his experience and professionalism. Tara his patient coordinator is a pleasure to deal with and the rest of his staff are very courteous.

Tummy Tuck - Thousand Oaks, CA

I consulted Dr. Terino about a Tummy Tuck 2 years after the birth of my 3rd child, although I had loss the weight gained during my pregnancy I had stretch marks and a bulge. I tried exercising but it hadn't made a big difference Dr. Terino suggested a modified adominoplasty which is less invasive surgery. It has been 6 weeks now and I am extremely happy with the results.

Sonic Lipo on Hips, Back, Stomach and Knees Plus Chin

Four weeks ago I had the UAL sonic wave lipo suction. I was told that I would be back at work in a week. It really was two weeks to 17 days. I had brusing the first few days, no leakage whatsoever and all brusing was gone after one week and after two weeks all was healed. I was very sore but the results are amazing. I spent the night at the facility the care and quality was fantastic, it was extremely nuturing and professional. I am however still a little sore and I am still wearing the garmet. Had I known it is really a four to six week process I might not have considered I had the down time, but I am thrilled that I did it.

Cheek Implants

Do NOT get facial implants here.

He made me look like a real freak with his cheek and chin implants. Other surgeons I sought afterwards agreed. The results were NOTHING like the computerized "after" image he showed me. I also developed a twitch on the right side of my face when I blink. I still live with this.

Nose too short & angled up - alar cartilage pulled in & stitched to septum top

Dr. Terino did a completely different surgery than was needed or wanted. I had septal and bridge damage from a sports injury and did not want a "nose job". I was afraid of having a tiny pinched in nose. Dr. Terino assured me that that was the style in the 60's and that he wouldn't do that, he wouldn't narrow the tip. He said that the bridge had to be narrowed to correct the damage but that there would be a gradual widening from the narrowed bridge to the naturally wider tip. His photos of his work looked better than the other docs I'd consulted so I went with him. Huge mistake, he pulled my alar cartilage in and stitched it to the top of the septum. The nose is now way to short and angled up. It wasn't angled down to begin with and did not need to be lifted and the tip is now too high, over projected and narrower than the bridge which is bumpy and dented. The front nostril edges are contracted and angled. The columella is pushed up and flat. The extended, bunched up tip is rock hard, painful and itches constantly. The valves/vaults are collapsed. It is an ugly, unnatural, alien distraction of a nose marring an otherwise pretty face. Nostril show and elongated distance between nose and mouth makes me look like a turtle. Lucky I have a mouth to breathe with or I'd have suffocated years ago. There is no mention of the permanent alar/dome sutures in the surgical record but other doctors said he must have put them in to get this result. After I expressed my displeasure about this, Dr. T denied that he did this and said that I caused this result myself. Five other surgeons who saw it later agreed that I could not have done this to myself. He also said it was just swelling that would go down, well it never went down after 30+ years and there is now a suture protruding near the crooked footplate. I'm looking into revision because pain, tightness and itching are constant and worse than ever but I am afraid of more liars and fear a bad result again, once bitten…… SUB ZERO stars for Dr. T.

Nose Refinement Resulted in Too Small Bridge/Separated Vaults on Lower/Upper Nose and No Deviated Septum Correction. Westlake CA

Went to Dr. Terino, in the early 80s, and while my nose was pretty enough, at first glance, he gave me too small a bridge and managed to create a kind of division between my upper and lower nose vaults AND did not correct a deviated septum. Years later, I went to Jack Sheen--the guru of rhinoplasty and now retired--who is known for aesthetic and functional successes with revision rhinoplasty--he had done re-ops on Terino's noses and many other plastic surgeons' noses. My nose, which was a normal-looking nose before Terino got ahold of it, looks beautiful and "unfixed," very natural, now, and I can breathe, ideally. Sheen was able to put in a caudal (?) implant where Terino had created a separation in my nose, add to the bridge, and my nose looks great!
