I've been a patient of Dr. Boxrud for nearly 20 years. I was nervous to begin injectables as I'd seen so many scary faces walking around in Orange County so I consulted with an acquaintance who did referrals to LA based plastic surgeons. She told me that the only doctor she would let touch her own face was Cynthia Boxrud. Besides being incredibly likeable she actually listens to all your concerns and takes as much time as you need to answer. She also is committed to the most natural results so will also tell you when you don't need a procedure or treatment. Each visit is different, she looks at you as the artist she is and fills or does botox where YOU need it at that specific time. A couple of years ago she agreed that it was time for a SMAS procedure and it couldn't have turned out better. I looked younger and fresher but not "done". Her staff is always friendly and accomodating and the whole experience is fun! My sister and I go together and always walk out of that office in a wonderful mood and looking great. Highly highly recommend. She's the BEST.

From the moment, I got in touch with Dr Boxrud‘s office to the last appointment I have had, it’s been such a genuinely warm, caring, and kind experience.As well as very professional! I was referred to Dr. Cynthia Boxrud from a surgeon friend of mine that looks fabulous at 70 looking more like 50, I wanted those results at my age of 60. Her staff is happy and helpful and kind and that really says a lot about her because everyone seems happy to be working in that environment under her guidance . I can’t say enough great things about Dr Boxrud, she is a genuinely caring and kind person who is very well skilled. She is an artist! She knows what she’s doing for the best results and really cares about her patients. I told Dr Boxrud that I wanted to look as natural as I could, refreshed and rejuvenated. One day I finally got to the point where I was looking in the mirror, very unhappy about the deep lines and wrinkles in my face and a big bag under my neck. I was a bit afraid of surgery. I didn’t want to come out looking like an experiment or somebody that was trying to hard and stretching their face to tight so it was important for me to find someone that understood my need to turn the clock back just a little bit without being too obvious. I found the right fit with Dr Boxrud. She has a great sense of knowing what people want and putting a natural touch on things and making people feel valued and well cared for in the process. She was always there to answer any, and all questions I had and to give me valuable advice on what she suggested for my best results. On surgery day, she was there to comfort me and make sure I was comfortable before I went into surgery, by knowing that I was in her qualified hands. I’m a chicken with needles and so while the anesthesiologist was gently placing the IV in my hand she was so kind to comfort me and massage my scalp to get my mind off of that procedure. When I woke up, she was there for me to help me on my way and answer any more questions I had, and schedule me in a few days to check my progress. Today has been one week since my surgery. I went in to get some of my stitches removed, and she added a bit of my fat that she stored, at surgery for best results added afterwards. I could not believe that I was not prescribed some high powered painkillers at first for the high powered pain I expected, but I got neither. After surgery I came home. I took the Tylenol required and only had to take them for four days and then quit it because I do not have the great pain that I expected. I describe my surgery experience as a piece of cake. Everything was easy and natural and comfortable and I feel a bit more youthful and beautiful again looking in the mirror. Her technique is gentle and she is a true artist, and I would recommend her to all if they want the best results and the most caring experience. She is very busy but always present with you as her patient. I see her about twice and year and each treatment is specific to the visit. Never feel like she’s just rushing you through. Results have been very good.

I’ve been seeing Dr Boxrud for 11 years, since I first met her in LA and I won’t go to anyone else. As I’d previously had Botox and Restylane in Beverly Hills, Dr Boxrud was a new experience. I was thrilled when she dissolved some unwanted filler in my cheeks and worked her magic to give me a refreshed, natural look. Her technique is conservative but the difference is wonderful. I always leave her beauty room feeling uplifted and looking radiant. Her latest laser machines are phenomenal and I love seeing my skin improve over time. She taught me that ‘less is more’, the innate dangers of incorrectly administered injectables and that sometimes it’s about ‘what you don’t do’. I now live in London and still fly in to see Dr Boxrud!

I went to Dr. Boxrud for Botox. I have been getting Botox for years in many different locations, but I found the best in Dr. Boxurd. Starting with her bedside manner, she is truly nice. This is the 1st time I have received Botox without brusing or any discomfort and right away could tell see the end results on my forehead. I am truly impressed and would highly recommend her.

I get regular face peels (every 6 weeks), Botox (every 3 months) and fillers (every 6 months) and I've had eye lid surgery with Dr. Boxrud, I have been extremely happy with the results of every treatment and thrilled with the results of the eye lid surgery. At the age of 46, I can't believe how good I look. Furthermore, no one would ever guess that I've had anything done.

I needed upper and lower eyelid surgery. I went for a consultation to a highly regarded facial plastic surgeon who had performed a rhinoplasty on my son two years ago with outstanding results. That surgeon informed me that my lowers were very difficult and did not feel that he could acheive the desired result. He then referred me to Dr. Boxrud. From consultation to surgery to follow up care, everything went smoothly. The staff is marvelous and Dr. Boxrud is highly skilled. Just as a side note, 2 days after surgery, I thought that I had opened some stitches. Dr.Boxrud was easy to get a hold of after hours and in fact, came into the office (on her off day) to see me. Such skill and care are rare these days.

Dr BOxrud is a warm, caring, woman who makes you feel like she has all the time in the world for you. As a plastic surgeon, she knows the anatomy of the face better than any dermatologist I've ever been to. I have never bruised from her injections where in the past with other DR.'s, it was a disasster--had to make up lots of crazy stories!! She did my friends lower face lift & she looks amazing.When I hit 60, she's my Dr. It's a nice feeling to leave your Dr & say "I want to be friends with her" ! She is just so honest & will tell a patient "no" if she doesn't think they need a treatment they're requesting--she would never let a woman leave with "duck lips" ! I can't recommend her enough--I've sent many women to her & they were all very happy.

Initially had to wait to get the appointment but after all was good... great overall experience. It took about three weeks to finally see results and what I did was what i expected. Thanks.
