Mid 20's Eyelid Surgery - Los Gatos, CA

Everyone at the office was so kind, patient, and well mannered. The best team!

Perma Lip 5mm, Chin Implant and Chin Slimlipo - San Jose, CA

Eak chin as well as a double chin. Aldo my lips were full bug small and I really desired some lucious lips. After some research I found Dr. Lay who is well known here on real self and specializes in facial surgery. He is also an ENT. Long story short I had a consult and actually went into surgery to get all 3 procedures done. It has been 2 hours now since I am out of surgery. The surgery...

Late 20s Female, Lost Lots of Fat in my Face - San Jose, CA

He's been great. He has a good aesthetic sense. So far I've come out of his office twice, both times much happier, more confident, and looking more normal. I would happily go back to him if I needed any procedures in the future.

13 Days Post Op - San Jose, CA

Dr. Lay is kind, professional, experienced and reasonable. I went to 3 surgeons, 2 of which recommended several procedures I feel I did not need. Both were rated as top surgeons but I felt they were overly aggressive and motivated by money rather than what was best for the patient. In the end Dr. Lay gave good explanation as to why he felt I didn't need the extra procedures and I agreed. He specializes in Asian eyes and fat grafting and is rated 5 stars on real self. He was also recommended by a friend who did the same procedures (and more) and looks great at 57! I am confident that if I am unhappy with the end results he will do his best to help me achieve my goals. I would highly recommend Dr. Lay.

Much Needed Excess Skin Removal. - San Jose, CA

My recovery was anything but pleasant.... I have double lids but as I get older the skin started to sag. It made me look sleepy especially the right eye. So I start researching for surgeons. I went to a few consultations but was never felt comfortable with them. Then I found Dr Lay on realself. I love his before and after. Natural and subtle. I messaged him through IG. He responded...

Needed a Change Badly - San Jose, CA

I will never forget getting my eyelid surgery done .. It has been the best surgery i have experienced.. It was painless, quick and having Dr.Chase, made it so easy for me.. After having several consults with different surgeons, i chose Dr Chase, because of his kind, very friendly, straightforwardness.. It was like talking with my best friend.. He is so approachable, and makes you feel like your a part of his family.., He made me feel at ease during the whole process.. Even months after the surgery, I get follow ups just to see how im doing.. And i couldnt be more happy with my results.. Its given me the confidence i have needed and has totally made my life better!!!

Asian Eyelid Sucess - Los Gatos, CA

Dr Lay is one of the best doctors I have come across. Very down to earth. Very real and genuine. Very charming esp with that southern drawl he has. Great sense of humor and he's not like all other doctors that are just trying to take your money. He will most likely talk you out of your surgeries or procedures because he sees the beauty from within and feels that you are beautiful to begin with but stand your ground! If you want it done then corner him until he says yes! Lol. I'm kidding....kind of. Best Doctor ever. Wish he did other procedures but you will want him to be your best friend he's that cool. Super talented!

I Should Have Done This Sooner! -San Jose, CA

Dr Lay is very approachable and will talk you through any qualms you may have about your procedure. He will show you before and after photos of his patients that are similar to you so you have a good idea of what your results may look like. He will give you suggestions based on his experience of what will look natural for your face. I appreciated how he was patient in answering all my questions thoroughly, even though these may be the same exact questions asked by every single patient, multiple times a day. He never made me feel like I had a question that was dumb or silly. His office is friendly and never crowded where you feel like you will only have 5 mins with the dr. The one thing that puts him above and beyond any other doctor I met with is that he has an inherent understanding of Asian culture. You may not think this upon your initial introduction to him since he does have a slight southern accent, but based on his experience, he can predict your questions. He knows that you'll be very concerned with how other Asians will perceive and critique your surgery results, how your family members may react, and that you don't want to look like a sellout and be the Asian person who got the double eyelid surgery. He has had so much experience with Asians that you feel comfortable talking to him about any Asian and "white" stereotypes. He has heard them all! He will also be your reassurance through post-op since you will look very swollen and bruised. He will show you photos of patients that were much more swollen than you and now have beautiful results. You will smile and think, of course you are reassuring me, but silently second guessing the positive results. It's not until 2 months later where all of the swelling is back down, you're getting compliments you never got before, your self confidence starts on the upswing, then 6 months later where you can really see what the final results are… and then that's when you'll want to write a review praising him. I didn't tell anyone outside of my parents and my boyfriend about the surgery and just told others that I was going on vacation. No one was able to pinpoint that I had surgery, but instead asked me if I got a new haircut or lost weight, or changed my skincare routine. That's exactly the results I was looking for. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Lay for this procedure and wish I had done it years earlier with him!
