5 out of 5 stars Breast Reconstruction

Breast Reconstruction - San Francisco, CA

A prophylactic mastectomy is a daunting decision. Dr. Chang made a huge difference in my comfort level around the procedure. I interviewed a handful of plastic surgeons who were highly recommended. Most of them promised immediate, beautiful results. Dr. Chang stood out because he's not overly showey. I was treated with sensitivity and support from the initial intake appointment until my last post-op follow up. He was encouraging yet honest and straight forward about the risks. It also helped that he was highly recommended by both breast surgeons I met on opposite sides of the Bay. Before the surgery, I obsessively googled images of reconstructed breasts. Even though I trusted Dr. Chang, I was emotionally prepared for scarred, unnatural looking implants. Not the case at all! Along with his kind bedside manner and professionalism, he is a true artist and perfectionist. With fat grafting and silicone implants, Dr. Chang crafted beautiful, natural looking breasts. I have never felt better in my body.

I would consider my recovery time being short as I was able to drive after a week. The result was impressive, I’m very pleased and the scar healed nicely. Dr Chang is remarkable in his commitment to provide the best outcome...
