Back in 2016, I had 275cc round Implantech butt implants placed with Dr. Mofid. He actually created his own implant called "Natural Contour" with Implantech, featuring three natural, smooth sizes that go up to 330cc. When I first went in for surgery, we could only fit the 275cc in at the time. While everything went smoothly and still holds up well, I've known for a long time that I would want to go bigger down the road.
I had pre-op yesterday and got a solid idea of what the size increase might look like. He said that since the pocket is already created I can go all the way up to 655cc if I want. After looking at those implants in office, I can safely say the 655 is huge and very heavy, and I do not want to go that large. I can't fathom it holding up well. I have added photos of some of the different implants for you guys to look at.
I am looking for a dramatic increase with an eye-catching bubble butt while still keeping in mind that I have a tiny frame and am wanting a safe option. The size below 655 in Implantech is 485cc, which is a nice increase from 275cc but significantly smaller than the 655. He is special ordering 548cc from AART to use as a potential option as well. This is really nice of him because he has always used Implantech, so for that reason I am a little hesitant to branch out even though I like the size option.
For reference, I'm 5'5" and 120 lbs. He will ultimately decide on the table which option is best. Surgery is 3 weeks out. I'm excited but also a nervous wreck!
Please note I have scoliosis so my butt and hips slightly asymmetrical by default

So I’m out of surgery and have a nurse staying with me for the next 3 days. Mofid asked me which size I wanted and I said I was leaning towards 548 unless he felt even slightly it wasn’t safe, then to do the 485cc (rounds). Not going to lie, it’s been an emotional rollercoaster today. I respect a decision made around safety but I’m already feeling like we went too small. I guess time will tell. I think Mofid just leans strongly towards natural looks, I kind of wanted mine slightly fake looking, which I did relay to him. Again, I’ll know more in a month or two.
I keep reminding myself it’s day one and they will drop and fluff. Post-op is tomorrow so I will keep you posted.
I did add lipo to the flanks as well for an additional $2800. Way less painful than I expected, my butt hurts far more than my hips. I’m really hoping the lipo will give me the extra pop needed to make up for using the smaller size.
It’s been so long since I’ve done this and I really don’t remember the drop and fluff process from last time. My butt is definitely flattish and boxy in the mirror which I do recall was the case the first time as well, but later rounded out.
Any other ladies who felt this way at first - did you grow to love them after some time passed? Or did they not round out as much as you hoped?

Had my post-op today, everything went well. I asked about how Mofid chose the size and apparently 485cc is the absolute biggest he could fit in the pocket. I'm starting to fall in love with it now. It's definitely an emotional journey having something like this done, and moments of doubt are likely inevitable. But after seeing how I look in my pants I'm pretty satisfied. It definitely has more of a pop than it did before, and my liposuction is already starting to look good too. I'll take some more pictures when I'm feeling up to it.

Yesterday was the hardest day for me physically. I was very swollen and in a lot of pain. Still no bowel movement as of today either. However, I took these pics and can definitely see a difference when compared to my pre-op pics I uploaded (of me in the blue shirt). I can’t wait for these implants to drop and take on a more rounded shape.
This recovery is brutal, im glad i over prepared. A female urinal, grabber, and tons of loose cotton dresses have been of major help.

Tomorrow is my two weeks post-op. I have taken pictures and video literally every single day, and slowly but surely the boxy shape is rounding out. The swelling has also gone down a lot from what it was. I'm purposely uploading pictures that don't use flattering clothes or angles to give a realistic idea of what my healing looks like. I fly home next week and will take some pics in different clothes.
I'm happy to say my silhouette is looking great, I'm no longer an apple shape but have a nice hourglass going for the first time in my life. For any ladies doing this surgery, I highly recommend you add on the waist lipo. These implants are also a little wider than my previous ones.
At this point my butt has been changing almost daily so I'm not entirely sure what the end result will look like. I'm definitely hoping for continued rounding and more projection as things fluff. I look forward to seeing how I look in shorts and yoga pants when I get home.
My mobility is pretty good and I've been using a grabber for anything I have to pick up off the floor. Walking is about 70% back to normal. Still no sitting until week 3.

Monday will mark my five weeks post-op, and I'm so happy to say my butt finally dropped and fluffed! Around week 3-4 when I started sitting again my butt just went POOF lol. I cannot even describe the emotional rollercoaster of seeing the flatter, smaller result those first few weeks, then the relief and surprise when it suddenly enlarged so quickly.
I'm a lot more mobile now but certainly not 100%. Still walking a little funny but not too badly. No bending allowed still, I've been using my grabber for everything.
Anyways I love my new hourglass figure and round booty. Mentally I'm still adjusting to my new look - I still have small booty mentality lol. But in person I've been turning heads. Very happy with my result!
Pardon the dirty mirror pics! Even these $6 Walmart leggings look great now. I'm holding off on trying on thongs or super tight clothing until week 6 just to be extra mindful of my healing.

Well, today is my 6 weeks post op! It's been a long, emotional and tough journey, but it has absolutely been worth it. I'm allowed to sit with no pillow now and in two weeks can start resuming light gym work (but still another 6 weeks until I can do heavy glute training). I walk completely normally and can bend freely.
I sat a lot today, and although there were moments I needed a break and was lightly sore, I held up very well. I had a 5 hour hair appointment and brought my pillow for that, but then went to a 2 hour dinner and sat directly on not the best chairs and was still okay, although I did take a couple standing breaks. Each day is easier than the last.
Here are some thirst traps I took via snapchat and decided to share here as well.

Okay — now that I’m just over two months out, I feel ready to give my completely honest review. As you can see from my previous updates, this has been an emotional, up-and-down journey for me. I’ve attached a comparison photo here showing my before (275cc, left) and after (485cc rounds, right).
First, let me say: Dr. Mofid is a genuinely kind and responsive doctor. His bedside manner is excellent, and he has continued to answer questions and emails long after surgery. He also delivered a natural, harmonious result with safety as a clear priority — which is rare for this procedure.
That said, I do feel he overpromised and underdelivered on impact. From the beginning, he told me we could go as high as 655cc if I wanted. I didn’t choose that size, but hearing that it was an option gave me the impression we had a lot of room to work with. I expressed repeatedly that I wanted a dramatic, head-turning result — I’m an exotic dancer and influencer, so aesthetics are central to my work.
You can imagine my confusion when, post-op, I asked about the lack of projection and was told a 655cc jump would’ve been impossible — and that typically only a 50% increase is safe. We did hit 76%, which is great, but I really wish this had been explained more clearly before surgery. It makes no sense to me that 655cc was presented as a viable option, but then later I'm told that 485cc was pushing it as is.
While he is a great surgeon, I think he may have a been a mismatch for my specific goals. Dr. Mofid is known for subtle, natural-looking results. I should have factored that in more to my decision, but I thought that being very clear about my vision, combined with his confidence in the sizing possibilities, I would get what I wanted.
My results are beautiful — just not what I asked for.
I feel a lot of this could have been avoided with a more thorough pre-op sizing discussion. For example, I later found out there was a 460cc option that had less width but slightly more projection than the 485ccs I received. I’ve also learned that some surgeons can custom-order from Implantech. None of this was explained to me at the time.
In my earlier reviews, I was feeling optimistic because the fluffing had begun, and there are outfits and angles that really play up the results. But overall — factoring in the cost, downtime, lost income, and physical toll of recovery — it feels like a modest payoff. I had hoped this would be THE surgery to finally achieve my goal. Instead, I’m left wondering if I’ll have to do this again someday, or just accept that the “Insta baddie” look may never happen for me.
To be fair, I still can’t work out my glutes for another month, so I plan to give it a full 6 months of gym time before deciding anything further. But even close friends and family — my mom and aunt included — have said the results are “pretty” but more subtle than expected. When your own mom says it… you know it’s not just in your head, lol.
So once again, this isn’t me throwing shade on Dr. Mofid. He’s safe, experienced, and a caring person. If you’re looking for a natural enhancement, he’s a great choice. But if your goals lean more toward a highly sculpted, dramatic aesthetic — especially if you work in industries such as mine — I would say to consult someone who specializes in that look.

Okay, so I'm over three months out at this point. I've been back at the gym for just under two weeks now - obviously not long enough to see gains but it feels great to be back. I REALLY lost my strength - I used to be able to hip thrust quite heavy and now I use baby weights for everything lmao and still get sore. But it is coming back quickly and I'm happy to say, my butt implants feel completely one with me now and do not interfere with my exercise one bit.
Here are some pics of how I'm looking. These shorts are quite flattering but regardless I have fluffed a bit more, and certain angles are looking a lot better. I still want another 1-2+ inches of projection which I'm hoping to achieve via the gym. I will keep you guys posted in the coming months.
Overall I feel completely back to normal however if a guy grabs my ass super hard it will feel sore for a day or so, and sometimes I still get brief waves of nerve regeneration in the implant and lipo areas. But it is no big deal at all. Sitting isn't an issue unless it's for hours on end (like long plane rides) and even then it's still manageable.
My liposuction looks amazing. My waist is noticeably more snatched - it took the full three months to settle into its final result. Even when I'm bloated my waist looks good. I definitely see a swoop from my back to my butt that I never had before, and it's more indented from the sides. The lipo is perfect and I'm very happy I added it on last minute.
