I had Dr. Ball do liposuction on my love handles 6 months ago. I love the outcome of my surgery! Dr. Ball was amazing! He spent an hour with me and made sure I understood all of the risks and benefits. I had so many questions and he was so patient with me. I really felt comfortable and confident in not only having the surgery but choosing Dr. Ball as my surgeon. I feel so confident in my new look. I am so thankful I had it done and would recommend Dr. Ball to all of my friends and family!
I had 7 pound twins in 1993 by c-sec, and a prior baby by.c-sec in 1990. My highest weight was actually during my first (singleton) pregnancy, in which I had eclampsia. Fat plus fluid weight got me up to 191 lbs, and at 188 with the twins. After the twins, I got back down to 112 lbs. The excess skin on my abdomen Hung down to mid-thigh. I could pull it down through the leg holes of my panties.I used money I got in my divorce to pay for the t.tuck in 1996, when the twins were 3 yrs old. I had to get corsette-like permanent sutures along the abdominal wall, as it not only stretched, but "unzipped". For overall sculpting, I was encouraged to also get lipo on my hips, where I always had these little fat pads, at any weight. The over all result has been fantastic, and has held up the last 14 years, even with subsequent weight gains and losses. Future weight gain just seems to distribute differently. At any age, it's money well spent.
I am a 46 y/o female, who has lost only about 22 pounds, and has another 15 lbs to lose. Nevertheless, I decided to undergo a brachioplasty. I am.getting married in June, and after seeing photos of me on various wedding gowns I tried on a couple months ago, I knew I wanted the procedure done in time to be relatively healed before my wedding. The surgery took about 3.5 hours, and included some lipectomy of the area, as well as the lift. Even years ago when I weighed 30 less than I do now (currently at 145 @ 5' 2"), I had huge upper arms! I chose the same plastic surgeon who did my abdominoplasty, after having giant 7 pound twins. Dr. B is known for being maticulous.I am feeing great this next day. I haven't needed my prescribed pain mess or anti-nausea meds. It just stings a little. Like I cut myself shaving. I do have swelling in my hands, but got permission to loosen the compression bandages. I am a tecber on spring break, and can't wait to return in 2 weeks with skinnier arms!
Your existing implants are round, gel-filled, Natrelle implants which have a diameter of 13.1 cm. The style 10 implant at 240 cc has a diameter of 11.7 cm. Obviously, the new implant is going to have a diameter significantly smaller than the existing pocket. This can create problems, and can be challenging to correct. I usually deal with this by reducing the pocket diameter to about 0.5 cm greater than the implant diameter by removing the edge of the capsule and suturing. Talk to your surgeon about how he/she plans to deal with the issue so you are comfortable with the plan.
Many women find they are not happy with their appearance after removal of breast implants. A lift may or may not be the answer. You might consider replacement of your old implants with new ones if pain relief is your primary concern. Photos suggest some capsular contracture, which can cause pain. That may be relieved by capsulectomy and re-augmentation. This would almost certainly avoid the issue of mastopexy, since your breasts are not sagging. Ask yourself if you would be happy if your breasts were soft and free of pain.
It is waaaaay too early at 10 days to know what your eyes will look like when you have fully healed. Give it 6 months before making a final judgment.
From what I can see in your photos it looks like you would benefit from lower lid blepharoplasty via an incision on the inner surface of the eyelid (trans-conjunctival approach) to re-distribute the fat more evenly in the area. Restylane or Juvederm can camouflage the bags by filling in below, but has to be repeated at intervals, whereas the surgery usually is done only once. In the long run surgery can be more economical. If not injected deeply enough fillers can give a bluish color through the thin skin of the eyelid.
I'm guessing from your photos that your implants are under the muscle. You often hear talk of implants "dropping" after BA, which really makes no sense. If the pocket has been made to exactly fit the dimensions of your implant, there is no place for the implant to "drop" to. What I think does happen with sub-muscular BA is noticable swelling of the pectoralis muscle, which rides over the upper half of the implant. The excessive upper breast fullness caused by this swelling gradually disappears as the swelling of the muscle goes away, and this is misinterpreted is "dropping" of the implants. I expect that is what will happen in your case. Patience is all that is required. I discourage my patients from wearing any type of push-up bra for at least 6 weeks. Ask your surgeon when you see him/her.
