Hello! I have recently over the last year had a lot of success injecting Kybella in that exact area to diminish that  fat pad. It will swell fairly aggressively for about 4-5 days, but after that, you should start seeing a nice result after 2 weeks. May need a second and third treatment for full treatment. Just one vial split between each side per treatment.

it really depends on what type of CrossFit you are doing. When I place Breast implants underneath (or dual plane) the muscle, I restrict purposeful pectoralis major muscle work (push ups, bench press, flys) for at least 4-6 months after surgery. The reason for this is that with squeezing of the muscle, the implant will be pushed down and out. These are directions that in my opinion make the breasts appear aged and frankly ugly.

So, if your priority is to get back to working out of the chest muscles right away, a subglandular approach would be better.

Usually, exercise of the muscle is good for stretching out and decreases the risk for capsular contracture.

Can fat be transferred to my earlobes?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

you certainly could transfer fat to your earlobes, but personally, I would be in better favor of simply using an off the shelf filler (like Restylane or Juvederm). The metabolism in the area is minimal so fillers should last there for years. I also like fillers for that area because the control is better. Since you have 2 earlobes that you are presumably trying to match, fillers are much more predictable than fat grafting. Definitely seek an in person consult with a board certified plastic surgeon so that you have the full range of options available to you. Good luck!

What does an earlobe reduction cost?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Earlobe reduction, in isolation, runs about $1000 in my office. This is under local anesthesia. If there are other procedures being performed (such as a facelift) at the same time that necessitate being in an Operating room facility and the service of an anesthesiologist, the price will change.

This price may or may not include further piercing of ears if placement of earring holes needs to change.

It appears to me from the photo that your provided that it isn’t really your eyes that are different, rather your left brow is higher than your right brow so it pulls up on your left eyelid creating a wider appearance.

I don’t know if you have Botox or other neurotoxins in your forehead, but sometimes this can be the cause. Our frontalis muscles are sometimes stronger on one side rather than the other, requiring more or less botox to balance it out.

Surgically, you could have a browlift on one side, but as young as you are, I would not recommend it. What I might suggest is Ultherapy isolated to your right brow to tighten the skin and soft tissue of your right brow to try to match your left. This happens gradually over time and will give the most natural appearance of a 2-3 mm lift.  You may want to consider a filler to the right brow to lift that side temporarily while you wait for Ultherapy results to kick in.

Good luck!

I personally am a -14 High myope as well. My husband happens to be a retinal surgeon and states that his average patient who has a retinal detachment is a -3.

Regardless, I have done countless blepharoplasties on patients with everything from normal visual acuity to extremely impaired so I get this question a lot. The simple answer is no, it will have zero affect on your vision in the hands of a plastic surgeon adept at dealing with eyelids. I always use the analogy that blepharoplasty is like “drawing the drapes on a window”. There is no need to hurt or move the furniture around inside the house when simply drawing the drapes.

she definitely has had a lot of fillers in her upper cheeks that is propping up the outer corner of her eye. Beyond that, it is somewhat difficult to judge as this one photo taken this year could be mid blink. She appears to possibly had an upper blepharoplasty to remove a bit of upper eyelid skin which is why you see a wider upper eyelid in the recent photo. Unfortunately, if this photo is not mid-blink, she has also developed a mild ptosis (drooping) of her upper eyelid. “Bedroom eyes” is what some call ptosis and it is not usually an aesthetic goal.

Hello, good for you for knowing the word "ptosis" as you have obviously done your research. While your ptosis on the left looks mild, you are also compensating for it by raising your brow (probably subconsciously). Unfortunately, we don't usually know what causes this, but acquired (meaning you were not born with it) ptosis can be straightforward to fix in a small scarless procedure.

Best to have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in eyelid work.

it looks like you were born with a paralyzed marginal mandibular nerve. There could be a hundred reasons for this and therefore a lot of options to treat depending on your appetite for dealing with it. The simplest would be to Botox the unaffected side. Using Botox to temporarily paralyze the opposite side is quick and easy, but will only last 3-4 months at a time. If you would rather try to figure out how to innervate the side that does not move when you smile, it becomes a lot more complicated, but could give you a more permanent option (nerve and muscle transfers). Best to see a board certified plastic surgeon in person for a consultation.

hello, it appears from your photo that you have mild ptosis of your right upper eyelid. You will notice that you are trying (probably subconsciously) to compensate for it by lifting your right brow.

I see this in my practice often and treatment is fairly straightforward, but requires a test with an eye drop in the office. Be sure to see a board certified oculoplastics or plastic surgeon (with experience with eyelids) for an exam.

Excellent Skill and an Artist's Imagination

Dr. Lee and I agreed on a procedure to swap my disfiguring, severe droop on one side of the forehead/brow for a modest scar. She executed on this plan with skill and artistic imagination, and the outcome is remarkably rejuvenating! I had sought input from 3 other surgeons before ever meeting Dr. Lee, and I immediately felt like her experienced judgment and planned remedy were my best bet. The procedure was done with only local anaesthesia, but pain was utterly minimal and the scene was amazingly relaxed. During my initial recovery the doctor and her assistant Raya were very patient with my observations and concerns. There is a high degree of professionalism to this doctor's practice; I recommend Dr Lee to anyone in need of a better look!

Perfect Results

I had a procedure done several years ago with Dr. Lee which turned out very well. When I was considering another procedure, I knew Dr. Lee was the surgeon that I would go to (which I did). Again, I am very pleased with the results. Not only is she extremely nice, you can rest assured you will be in skilled hands. If you look up her training, you will be impressed. Also, and in regards to being comfortable at her office, her staff is wonderful.

Beyond Words with Joy

I asked around for a few years and consistently heard Dr.Lee recommended. I'd seen interviews and truly respected her views on anatomy and advanced techniques to achieve a natural and still effective result. I had high expectations going in. She still blew me away. No upselling or shaming, only supportive and kind interactions. She heard my concerns and tailored a procedure to fit all of them, including concerns I had about anesthesia! Her staff is responsive and thorough. I had no surprises in any area, from financial to VERY FAST recovery time. I felt safe and understood. And the RESULTS. I cannot articulate the difference this has made looking in the mirror. I had my jaw and neck lifted and I never dreamed I could feel so pretty. It's natural and not "pulled" but for truly the first time in my life, I have a jawline and cheekbones. I don't even wear makeup any more because I'm so happy with my appearance. I look like me and yet I still look transformed. I can't explain it, but it was truly to most loving thing I think I have ever done for myself. I had stopped smiling and laughing because of what it did to my face and now I am downright gleeful.

Amazing all around - it's been 2 months, and it's healing incredibly well

I had implants for 11 years before I had a muscle tear under my left breast. The pain and discomfort were bad and after going through multiple consultations, I decided to go with Dr. Lee. She and her team are amazing, they guided me through the process, and the aftercare was excellent. Due to the muscle tear, I needed a strattice and was worried it would be visible but it's been 2 months, and it's healing incredibly well. Dr. Lee and her staff are incredible and I would 100% go back to her for any future procedures.

10 out of 10 stars! Dr. Lee and her entire staff have been amazing!

Dr. Lee and her entire staff have been amazing! My decision to proceed with plastic surgery did not happen overnight, I'd contemplated for many years. I knew what I wanted, yet afraid a surgeon will find other flaws and pressure me to do more. After meeting with her, she was able to ease my nerves my supporting my decision, not once did she suggest altering any other part of my body. She answered all of my questions very honestly and made sure I was fully understanding of the outcome.3 weeks post op and she and her office staff are as attentive as there were at my consultation. Highly recommend!

Great Experience with Dr. Lee and Team

My experience with Dr. Lee and her Plastic Surgery manager Ashley was the absolute best. They truly listened to all my needs, answered all my questions thoroughly, and constantly kept me at ease. I am 6 months post-op from breast implant surgery, and I ended up going with the Ideal Implants. The results are great, very subtle and natural which is exactly what I wanted. I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Lee.
