I was looking increasingly tired from under eye bags and the beginning signs of fat loss my face at 40. After extensive research, Dr. Hessler felt like the right choice for me. Her patient photos all looked natural and refreshed and this is all I wanted. I did this 5 years ago and am going back to get my upper eyes done by her after seeing a neighbor who also had hers done by Dr. Hessler. My neighbor is also 45 and looks amazing. Fully recovered looking in 2 weeks. While Dr Hessler did recommend a full deep plane facelift to address over all sagging - I decided to postpone this for a few more years. This is her specialty and I agree this is one of the greatest procedures available. I have zero complaints and the experience was very easy and straightforward with her very private office and her own surgical center.

I am one year out from my neck and lower facelift with Dr. Hessler, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself. I lost a large amount of weight many years ago, and by my early forties, the extra skin on my neck and lower face had lost enough elasticity that it was very obvious and bothered me a lot. I knew I needed a surgical lift to address this. I first consulted with Dr. Hessler because her patient portfolio showed that she understood how to achieve an extremely natural look. I had a consultation with another doctor who was so discouraging and basically told me there was little he could do. I was so demoralized until I consulted with Dr. Hessler. She has a great positive, can-do attitude and a supportive and nurturing staff. I know I made the right choice!

This is a very overdue review but I had to get it on here. Dr. Hessler is a true artist and incredibly competent surgeon. She performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty on me in July and I could not be happier with the results. I recovered within 2 weeks and was even able to walk around Disneyland with my kids. I had been suffering from sagging of the eyelids which looking back, kept me away from doing much of my public facing work. Since my procedure with her it’s opened up an entire new world and much more confidence for me. Her facility is super modern and clean. Staff are top notch. Highly recommend. She is a champion for female surgeons and an incredible role model. Love her.

I came to Dr. Hessler’s office super open, looking for her and Christy’s recommendations on how to improve my eye bags and lower face area, and 6 months later I’m here writing this in my 30s looking better than I looked in my teens. I booked my surgery that same day! The otoplasty procedure went very smoothly. I had minimal swelling to my ears, as was expected. I had mild pain only, just a little tender. I love my grandmother, but never grew to love the bulbous nose I had inherited from her. I have known for most of my adult life that my nose was something I would love to change when I had the chance. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hessler to discuss treatment options for my nose. I had done a lot of research on what made a beautiful nose and looked at tons of photos. I was surprised to learn that Scarlet Johansson’s “button nose” is considered one of the most beautiful amongst female celebrities. Button noses tend to be small and round and lifted at the tip. Well guess what? I dislike button noses! I thought to myself, if this is the most sought-after nose, and I do not like it, I need to be sure that I have a thorough discussion with my surgeon, so she knows the most sought-after nose is not what I desire. The day came for my consultation appointment, and I was excited and a little nervous. When I arrived at Hessler Plastic Surgery, the staff were so warm and welcoming. The staff are very skilled at making you feel at home and helping to ease anxieties. They roomed me in a consult room and even gave me a fuzzy blanket to ensure my comfort. When Dr. Hessler entered the room, I knew I was in good hands. First off, I had already done my research. Not only is she double board certified in facial plastic surgery, but she also has glowing reviews and is well respected by all in the medical community. I am also a nurse on the front lines and in talking with other practitioners that work in the operating room with her, I was told she is defintely the person to see. When she came to meet with me, she was friendly, wearing a genuine smile, and full of confident energy. I immediately felt more relaxed and knew everything would be ok. Dr. Hessler pulled up a stool to sit at my level and to gather more information as to how she could help me. It was evident as I spoke that she was genuinely interested in hearing from me, and what I was hoping to achieve. I explained to Dr. Hessler that I was not seeking the popular button nose. I have very strong and large features naturally, and therefore was not looking for a tiny nose as I did not think it would fit my profile. I showed Dr. Hessler photos of what I did and did not like. I explained that I felt my nose was a little too big for my face and it was all I saw when I looked in the mirror. I had a bulbous tip and a bump in the bridge. Dr. Hessler loved that I shared what I liked and did not like, as this helped in formulating an individualized plan of care. We had a very nice discussion and came up with a plan to make some subtle changes including removing the bump and refining the tip. Surgery day came and although I felt I should be a little nervous (I was changing something on my face), I felt completely relaxed. I knew I was in very capable hands with Dr. Hessler and her care team. After looking at many of her before and after photos, it was clear that she was a master at her craft and was an artist in her own right. I trusted her fully to enhance my natural appearance. On the morning of surgery, I met with Dr. Hessler again to review the surgical plan and to answer any questions I might have. I was grateful for this step as it again solidified that she truly cares about her patients and helping them to achieve their goals. Her team took some before photos and Dr. Hessler made some markings on my face and we were set. I entered the operating room to be greeted by very friendly faces waiting for me. They even asked me what I wanted to listen to during my surgery! The procedure itself went very smoothly and was approximately 3 hours in length. My downtime was minimal, and I went back to work 7 days later! I wore a nose splint for the first week post-op to help protect my nose from being inadvertently bumped and experienced zero pain! Once the splint was removed, I had some mild tenderness to touch only – Tylenol was sufficient. I was pleased with how quickly the swelling resolved. I am now 2 months post op from having my rhinoplasty with Dr. Hessler and I could not be happier with the results. I have a beautiful, refined nose that still looks natural and fits my face.
