Dr. Gorodisky is a board-certified plastic surgeon. He is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. Dr. Gorodisky is known for the high standard of care and safety he provides for his patients.
Dr Gorodisky and his staff are excellent! The care I received exceeded expectations. I had old breast implants removed and a fat transfer to the breasts, Lipo 360, and "West-Coast Booty" fat transfer to my buttocks and front of hips. Dr. G is all about safety, shape, and flattering results. Dr. G communicates clearly and his staff is well-trained and professional. This is a first-class surgery and med spa in Ventura County. Treat yourself and take advantage.
All I can say is look no more! I scheduled lipo/bbl and came from the East coast, I will never regret going to West Coast Plastic Surgery. Dr. G's bedside manners are A+. He is my guy when it comes to keeping me looking my best. Dr. G along with all of his staff are absolutely amazing. Everything from the consult all the way to my post op care, the journey has been great and my results are more than I could have hoped for. Thank you to Dr. G for amazing results, Rena for your help scheduling and guiding me through the process and Mel for the lymphatic massages. The whole staff made this process seamless. Thank you!

My experience with Dr. Gorodisky went much better than expected. It was my first time seeking cosmetic surgery , so you can imagine how nervous I was. The doctor and his team were Beyond incredible they made me feel welcome as if I were part of the family. They answered all my questions and concerns. That was never a question or doubt in my mind that this was a wrong choice. His stuff is amazing Aaron and Jennifer we're incredibly nice for my consultation all the way to my pre-op visit. On my surgery day his nurse, Reyna and anesthesiologist ,Karen are so happy in such a great mood made me forget about my worries of being put to sleep they reassured me and asked me every possible question to avoid any serious complications. I recommend this doctor to anyone that is seeking cosmetic or reconstructive surgery they are the best and are only looking out for our best interest not to mention the prices are affordable
I had a lifestyle/midface lift in 2010, but it didn't address my neck at all, and I find myself looking at my lower face and neck and noticing that it doesn't fit the rest of my face ! I read a wonderful review on this site by Laurie, who had a neck lift done last year by Dr. Gorodisky in Ventura. I live in the Palm Desert area where there are many plastic surgeons, but very overpriced and not always good surgeons. I made an appointment to go for a consult with Dr. Gorodisky last month and was very impressed with the way he patiently handled all my questions. He spent about 45 minutes answering every thing I could think of at that time and was very personable, understanding my concerns. I am very pleased with the fact that he uses twilight anaesthesia, as I am nervous about the after effects of general and also the accompanying sore throat after the surgery from the intubation. It just seems much safer to me to use twilight. I shall be keeping this updated as a sort of diary and reference point for later after the surgery. Updated on 27 Mar 2016: Updated on 4 Apr 2016: Time is flying and my pre-op is Thursday. I have so many questions. My PS is a good three hours away. I have only seen him once and that was for the consultation in January. I thought about it for six weeks and booked it. So when I go for my pre-op I shall need all my many questions ready. I think my biggest concern is the feeling of tightness that everyone is describing.I hate the idea that swallowing could be the slightest bit uncomfortable. I have a thin face too so need to ask him to show me more or less where and how the skin will be pulled. Wondering if I am being too vain. This is taking up all my savings. Updated on 13 Apr 2016: Starting to feel a combination of nervousness and excitement.. Updated on 14 Apr 2016: Getting ready to leave for Ventura..it's abput a three hour drive away depending on traffic. Feeling strangely calm although my stomach was upset this morning. My younger mate is more anxious..He bought fresh pineapple to take with us and make a delicious lentil soup for after my recovery. In some ways I admit part of me wants to stay looking 'younger' for him, but I am really doing it for myself. We have been together going on ten years, and he always tells me he loves me the way I am but yet he is supportive for whatever I decide to do if it makes me happy. I am glad he is with me ...I feel fortunate to have him at my side :) Updated on 15 Apr 2016: On my way in about ten minutes. Now I am beginning to feel a bit nervous, wondering if I am being too vain. Hoping to god it will turn out well...it will be nice to read all this later on. :) Updated on 15 Apr 2016: Back the hotel. Was extremely nervous when I arrived.Twilight anaesthesia...was awake but relaxed. The compression feels uncomfortable, but tomorrow will be replaced by lighter one. Going to eat some scrambled eggs then to bed...I apparently have bruised a lot. Wonder why. You can see it in the photos. Updated on 15 Apr 2016: I don't think I can sleep tonight, the percoset is not helping the pain (and it's painful) at all..just makes me feel dizzy. The neck sling is so tight I can hardly swallow harder to breathe . Feel like I am being strangled. I am hanging in there only because I will see the doctor tomorrow and he will replace it with a lighter sling...otherwise I would rip.it off :( Updated on 16 Apr 2016: Going to post a couple of photos to show bruising and swelling. Saw Dr. Gorodisky today and he said everything is normal I can take ibuprofen, since the other stuff does nothing to ease the pain.I don't expect this to be easy but am confident the end result will be worth it. Just taking it easy. Miss being able to chew on hard food :( Updated on 16 Apr 2016: Updated on 17 Apr 2016: I noticed the day after my surgery that I had a pleat on my right side at the edge of the suture..but didn't pay much attention to it. Today when I took off my compression I really noticed it. I sent photos to my doctor but he said too soon to worry but how can i not? Updated on 23 Apr 2016: I am starting to feel human and hopeful again!! My stitches came out today and I addressed all my concerns with my surgeon. He has assured me that everything is healing nicely and if the crease is still there in three weeks he will either 'release' it or he will just pull the skin up a little. Either way..he was not concerned about it. There is still lot's of swelling and bruising...all normal. Some people don't bruise. I do. When I had my breast implants removed three years ago they swelled up so much, and turned purple. I have never seen anything like it...so I suppose I am just one of those thin skinned bruise easily people :(. Very pleased with my surgeon, he is so personable and so skilled. Ha...I don't have to wear my sling during the day....only at night!! So pleased about that... Updated on 24 Apr 2016: I have been using just water, then vaseline on my suture wounds..but just started using 3% peroxide to be on the safe side..vaseline is so messy and wouldn't it delay healing? Wondering how others deal with this.. Updated on 2 May 2016: Well it is starting to look so much better, still I am stiff and feel limited in my neck movement. (Don't want to tear anything) I still have discolouration and soreness on my neck with lot's of swelling. I didn't really research enough to realize what I was getting myself into, Not that It would have changed anything but I would have been better prepared. I have had some moodswings, sometimes feeling so thrilled that I did it and other times scared. Reading 'Lawyers' comments and her journey is helping me through this as we both went to the same doctor. I didn't realize there were different kinds of necklifts. There is one where only skin is pulled, (doesn't usually last as long). Then there is the under chin incision necklift where the platysmal (vertical) muscle is pulled and sewn together. Some doctors only do the vertical platysmaplasty with or without liposuction. Then there is also the lateral or horizontal pulling of the muscle behind the ear. I had both the lateral and the vertical but no lipo. It is a slow journey, and my ears look a little strange. My skin is tingling and I have strange sensations in my neck and under my chin, but I imagine it is healing and nerves are trying to get back into place. The body really is it's own amazing healer. My man says I look younger. My daughter who disapproves of me getting plastic surgery says my face looks different. I feel more attractive but restricted as I am used to dancing a couple of times a week, and being much more active. It gets a bit better every day... Updated on 5 May 2016: No one would know...but I do!! Updated on 8 Jun 2016: I had no idea that it would feel so tight . I talked with my surgeon and he says I need six months for this 'strangling sensation' to go away. So trying to be patient. It looks great but feels so tight on the inside, which is where the platysmal muscles were sewn together. I find myself wishing it were November..just such a strange tight feeling. I shall post photos soon.. Updated on 28 Jun 2016: Just put on a little make up and wanted to do an update... My neck is still feeling tight but I believe it is loosening up somewhat (either that or I just resigned myself to living with it!!) I just started 'micro current therapy on my scars to speed up the healing and it seems to be helping. I still have a pinkish neck but I understand with time it will eventually diminish. My ears may need to be revised but I think my neck looks a lot better than before I had it done, so I am not sorry I did it. It IS a slow healing process and last time I will do anything to my face except maybe a little fat transfer or a little botox now and again...I am finally starting to see light at the end of the tunnel!! My doctor did a good job!! Updated on 1 Jul 2016: I think it's looking good, I took this last night and thought it was cute of both of us!! I wish it felt as good on the inside though! Updated on 13 Apr 2017: I am overall happy with my results. I had to go back to see Dr, G this year to have a couple of stitches cut because it felt too tight for me. So now it does feel more comfortable than before but still feels tight. I have heard that this tightness can last two years or more and in my case it's still tight but bearable. There is a price to pay for looking good (or better) lol!! I have had two midface lifts in the past and this procedure has been the most difficult for me. I am 66 now and think I shall stay with botox ..that was my last procedure..shall update again in a few months
I have been pondering this for a year and tried other nonsurgical techniques, creams-you name it. I have been religiously been taking care of my skin since 40 (and sunscreen earlier) but the neck is a no-win situation. No amount of clean diet, exercise, botox or cream was gonna work. I work in the entertainment business so my face is part of the “brand” and it helps me sell. I have been reading this site as well and it really is a friendly group with great support. There is a local doctor who is truly "cutting-edge” and came well recommended. I have a very low pain threshold and that held true throughout this “ordeal”. Had to switch painkillers because they made me nauseous. Had no pain during the surgery but do remember it. The doctor and office were always helpful, nice and he is always concerned with safety & fulfilling the patient’s desire with an artistic eye to what looks best.I asked him not to touch my face and he didn’t but he did liposuction my jowls (I guess that’s touching my face). I had a lot of pain and some side issues but I am back on track and it looks wonderful. He answered every email & question so I highly recommend him. Do not underestimate the pain and recovery as others may get by with a Tylenol but I wasn’t even close. This update has been edited at the request of the reviewer, 09/20/15. Updated on 22 Sep 2015: Finally went to the gym. That was cool-on treadmill like an 80 year old but I'll take it. Still very swollen, may have a hematoma and some "revision work" for left ear but I'll tough it out and live with it as I am all set on doctors, surgery and meds. Ears are numb and it feels like I always have something strangling my chin. Nonetheless, it looks great! A few recent pics as I come back to life. Updated on 23 Sep 2015: Updated on 24 Sep 2015: Still numb and a little sore and swollen but MUCH better. Went out today and a woman stopped me to tell me how beautiful I was. How nice! Updated on 24 Sep 2015: Swelling is down a bit Updated on 25 Sep 2015: Going out to dinner with a group. red lipstick and hat will throw them off the scent! Updated on 29 Sep 2015: I think I said I work in the entertainment biz. Had to go to a function so I finally did my hair! Went to doc yesterday. Right ear is red and irritated but he says I am healing fine. I am still very swollen so he thinks I need more massage to area. Slow going but one day at a time. Updated on 4 Oct 2015: Making slow but steady improvement. Warm towels help. Ears are still tender and neck is numb but doctor says I am improving just fine. No rigorous gym exercise but at least I can walk. Posting a side view as I haven't done so. Updated on 4 Oct 2015: Updated on 6 Oct 2015: I used to say my outside doesn't match my inside. After almost 4 weeks of pain-my inside doesn't match my outside! I am very happy with the result but man...it takes awhile ladies. Updated on 19 Oct 2015: I have been practicing lymphatic drainage on myself! Helps a little. Ears are still tender and backs of them scabbing. Yuck! Results are pretty great however! Updated on 24 Oct 2015: I put hair up to go out (5 weeks and always a little better-slow and steady) and all my guy friends say they can't see the scars. SO I look with a mirror in the mirror and you so can. Updated on 25 Oct 2015: I was asked to post them side by side Updated on 4 Nov 2015: So I am almost two months out and things are healing up well. Neck feels like sandpaper but trying to keep it moist. Back to gym at close to 100%. Haven't worn earrings yet but it's all a process as ears all delicate. Have to keep moving neck as doctor thinks it's best for healing. Another public appearance tomorrow. Updated on 29 Nov 2015: As I said I work in the entertainment biz. Got my event done this weekend and it was amazing. A few close friends there knew about the neck and they were blown away. It is a little tight but almost back to normal. No regrets for this old lady!! Updated on 29 Nov 2015: Updated on 30 Dec 2015: So sometimes I forget I even had this done. Still a little weird and itchy behind ears and sore-ish when wearing earrings. Neck is slightly stiff, like when you have a stiff neck. Doc says it will be six months before it feels right. So glad it is in the rear view window but I think I am all set with tempting fate! Happy New Year! Updated on 21 Jan 2016: Finally am starting to feel "normal". My neck isn't so tight and ears aren't so tender. So glad I did it. Have a small area that is either swollen or didn't get lipoed under my chin but I doubt anyone else notices it but me.(I hope so). Updated on 26 Jan 2016: Updated on 27 Jan 2016: I was asked to post close ups of scars...here they are Updated on 21 Feb 2016: In case you were wondering (not), I am still getting used to the neck...more truthfully the scars behind my ears only I feel. I do see a little scar and lump near my chin but it seems no one else does. It is still a little tight and tender but it looks great and makes me feel good about my appearance! I had the flu for a few eels-still recovering but am trying to do a monthly out for a year. Thanks to this incredible community for your wonderful feedback & questions. Keep em coming! Updated on 5 Apr 2016: It was a rough ride but worth the agony!!! Seems like everyone else has an easier recovery but I had a great result so there you have it. Updated on 24 Apr 2016: Seems to be settling in and although there are some extra skin areas I notice, overall I am pleased. Wouldn't go there again but glad I went there when I did! Updated on 13 Jul 2016: It is now pretty settled in-it's not perfect but what is? It looks very good and only I see the little scar and slight tiny bulge under my neck. It definitely took ten years off. It was very worth it but I so done with PS.....I hope... Updated on 13 Jul 2016:
Wanted to have nice breasts after 30 years of yo yo dieting and children I was referred to dr Gordiosky and I am so grateful he and his staff are great "not pushy" and the work that he has done on me and what I have seen from him is absolutely beautiful I love my boobs ????. I asked for a natural look and that is what I got when I went in for my lift and implants
I came in to the office for a consultation I was interested in the liposuction procedure, wanted to get rid of my belly fat, one of the options he mentioned to me was treating my abdomen with the coolsculpt treatment, he told me there was no down time I could return to work that same day! I was convinced, I scheduled the treatment right away, I came in to the office to have it done and the whole experience was great! Results were great!! I would definitely recomend it to anywone!!!Dr.gorodisky and his assistant that treated me were great!! Very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable.
Hi, well after months of research and finally having the $$, I have scheduled my surgery date. Im 33, 5'7 about 160lbs 36 B. I would like to be a full D even a DD! I have no children, I was always an A cup in high school, as i got older and gained weight, my boobs got bigger, as i lose weight they get smaller and so on.... So anyway i need a slight lift due to my right being bigger than my left. I will be going thru the arreola, (under the muscle with silicone implants) and he will be doing the lift thru there as well. Im a lil undecided on the size. I had my pre op yesterday and he suggested the biggest he would go would be 450cc on my right and 500cc on my left. I want to have a full look. The reason he will not go bigger is he said w a biger implant the arreaola might stretch and no heal right, therefore giving me no so pretty scars. Hes also making my arreola smaller, which is the reason for him not going bigger. I wish he'd let me go 50ccs more in each breast since i've heard you lose a lil when you go under the muscle. He will put sizers in during surgery and make the final decision then. Im excited, nervous, stressed..... Lol. Please if anyone has any advice, suggestions or questions please write me. I will try and up load before pics as soon as a can. Updated on 16 Sep 2013: Today was my 4th day after surgery. I was able to shower by myself but still a challenge washing my hair and trying not to wet my sutures. Recovery has been rough but def alot better today.
